Saw him live his last year, opening for NIN at Red Rocks. His voice was clear and he made a point of saying he was clean and feeling great, it was his birthday. Someday I’ll be able to listen to his records again
When I first heard Soundgarden and learned about Chris Cornel I knew he was SPECIAL. One of the very few singers who can effortlessly melt the paint off walls. Maybe the most powerful voice in Rock. God Bless Him.
It's like he had an in built auto-tuner, he couldn't hit the tunes anything but just right. And the voice is inside him even without any support from his core! Sensitive and strong, I miss him.
I must have watched and listen to this 100 times in 4 days. That voice, an angel. RIP Chris. Those eyes, they are saying something. Absolute perfection.

Some people have precious soul, and when they die, you start to believe in God, only because you don't want to admit their souls would vanish forever. Chris Cornell was one of them.
RIP Chris......miss that guy. This is probley my favorite live version of all time that I have listened to on TH-cam. I bet I listened to it over 500 times over the years. Never gets old
I'm from Colombia (South America), I went to his concert in Bogotá D.C. (Colombia), and I have a picture with him in the concert, the concert was in Colombia on December 4, 2016, he was very happy in Colombia because colombian people were very kind and friendly with him, and then I was in Spain studying a specialization in 2017, when I saw the news about his suicide,. I was in shock, I couldn't believe it. A person can be successful and show happiness to people, but in real life that person can be a very sad person.
Couldn't agree more man!..There's just some perfect performances of certain songs..Chris's vocals were so very unique and powerful..Just hope he found the peace he couldn't in this realm..As that guy was talented..and then some!!👌As no one really does sing like him anymore.😔
las personas que presenciaron ese concierto tuvieron la dicha de escuchar a uno de los mejores vocalistas de rock que pueden haber existido en el planeta Chris Cornell todavía me duele su partida su voz es única 🤘🖤
Yup, that is Pete Thorn on rhythm....if that is Yogi Lonich on lead guitar, he sure looks different than when I saw Chris and these guys perform back in 2009... drums is Jason Sutter, and bass is Corey McCormack...if i'm not mistaken that is the lineup here...pretty much Chris Cornell's post Audioslave touring band before Soundgarden reformed ..
RIP MAN. I actually just watched this performance a few days before his death cuz I randomly wanted to hear how a live version sounds again. It's just crazy that all the grunge lead singers are gone tragically and unexpectedly #LongLiveGrunge
rico diaz yes, I came back here too for a live version of this song to see why the Detroit performance sounded so off. Clearly something was going on that only Chris Cornell was feeling. RIP.
Thank you, Chris. Your song helped me so much when I was a teenager. And thank you so much for your kind words : « Be safe and keep your mind wide open ». Enjoy the sun now…

This is a badass version but I feel like it was tinkered with. Withe way Chris Cornell has a voice that can't be touched by real means. He was 1 in a world
No lip sync, auto tune, or any kind of vocal manipulation. Raw talent. I miss this guy.
No one sings like you anymore...

This is by far the best version of the song I’ve heard
The passion in those lovely eyes at 03:51. Ahh, no one sings like you anymore, indeed.
Wow. What an amazing guitar tone from the lead player. That is the shit.
4:49 damn that was crazy referring to his age hitting that hell high tone
