Love these videos you make regarding the Bass Raider. I just got one and wanna incorporate some of your handiwork into mine. The t-track...I can see all sorts of uses for this already and plan to install it, at least on one side. Why didn't you use the exploding rivets that you showed on another video? I am planning to mount the fish finder, my phone and even some pole holders, and the exploding rivets look to be a lot sturdier and able to withstand pressure much more effectively than the self-tapping screws. Regarding the t-track, are there styles/brands that you like/dislike for this application? They really gotta be trustworthy as I don't want a catchfish hookup to yank these out of the track.
Hi, thanks! I didn't use the exploding rivets in the t-track because the stainless screwss seemed to be just fine. Plus I put a bead of silicon underneath each track to stick it and to make sure water didn't get into the screw areas. Silicon glues pretty good on plastic/metals. that along with the screws seems fine. And getting rivets with holes that small are not easy to find if available at all. T track is expensive. I found some decent ones for a better price on Amazon. And yes I've already moved a bunch of stuff around as I find it more convenient to be on the left or right or further forward or backward. The t-track makes that possible. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BGH6R6HD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I tried to cut to fit without any tightness. The measurements were as I made it. Not sure that the are. You sort of have to have the boat there to fit it.
These 3/4" but anything that goes through the plastic would be fine. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NHXN40/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
None. I used it one (the first) season last summer and I ended up rearranging more things than I expected on the tracks and it all has stayed in place really good. I did discover two things. That small space between the forward and rear set of rails comes in handy because you have to slide things off and if there's a lot of other stuff blocking the way you have to move everyting. But... I can just leave the slider bolts in some instances and when just replace the items by switching them to different bolts on the track. If that makes any sense. glad I have the tracks because I would have to lived with what I did otherwise. This way as I experience what I did I can change it.

What measurements did you use for the gap and gap from sides
I tried to cut to fit without any tightness. The measurements were as I made it. Not sure that the are. You sort of have to have the boat there to fit it.
What length are the screws? 5/8 or longer?

Have you had any issues with the t track?

Those people? Those people? You're going to be practically invisible out there on the lake with that camouflage bimini 🤣
