Hello everyone, I hope all are in great health and good spirits. First and foremost, thank you for watching my videos, to me you are all gifts, as I know I'm less than mediocre so anyone who watches my videos is truly a gift for me. Secondly, to those I support, please be patient, it takes me 5 to 6 days to watch all the channels I support so if I'm late please forgive me, also I travel on motorbike alot, often in places where Internet is non existent, so I may just disappear for a few days, but know this I will be there to watch your videos eventually. Lastly, I ask that you not watch in full, please only watch what you enjoy, as TH-camrs we need to improve our craft, so if people watch less, then instead of forcing them to watch in full, simply improve your videos and maybe just maybe our viewers will watch more without any forcing or pushing. To all stay blessed and safe. Your humbled friend Traveller MIA (Ikram) 🇬🇧
Just to say it as it is, the bike have a handbrake because its a DCT gearbox and you can not leave it in gear when you park it. If it had a cruise control and drive shaft instead of chain drive i would buy right away. But since it not have that im looking on the NT1100 now.
The point that almost every reviewer misses on this bike is that it has a screw & locknut valve clearance adjustment which is within the capabilities of many a home mechanic. No need for complex and time consuming camshaft removal and shim swaps. It also means a dealer can only charge you so much to do it too as it is not nearly as complex as most bikes.
I'd noticed that too, it's cost of ownership is pinball lower than a CG125. Many dealerships have fixed prices on the wall and charge the same irrespective if its a versys or NC. The owner needs to be aware. And no, I don't own one, I like the idea of the dct but the seat is too low, its overweight, has poor brakes and low spec suspension.
I really appreciate how you don’t give the narrative while riding the bike. I can hear you perfectly without the usual wind noise and such. Also safer for you so you can concentrate on the riding. Very professional.
I had 2 different NCs. My first was an NC700S manual. I used it as a commuter bike. I loved it. 75-80 mpg and plenty of power for commuting. I had the head stock bearings replaced on it at 18 months old. Only mitigating thing was that I slid off it on ice and that may have damaged the bearings. I then had an NC750S DCT and it was great too. 120mph and the same 75-80mpg. I found the S more comfy than the X but that is a matter of choice. It takes a bit of getting used to the low top revs. You find yourself on the manual at first hitting the rev limiter but you get used to it quickly. No issues like that on the DCT. A totally underrated bike by the motorcycle press.
If I could only own one bike, and it had to be the last bike I could have, it would be this. By a country mile the most usable machine I have ever owned or ridden. Not perfect, but as near as you'll get to perfect....9.9/10
Yeah no way, you would get bored - everyone would. Automatic transmissions are maybe usefull with cars but bikes are made for slammin gears... This is just a big boring scooter...
@ I have been riding for 43 years. Owned approaching 50 bikes, from 50cc 'peds to Hayabusa's. The NC 750DCT is not boring. But what would I know....
2 ปีที่แล้ว
@@BibtheBoulder I guess if health is an issue than go for automatic transmission. You can get NC750 with manual transmission otherwise. Bike is great, it's just the transmission that makes it boring...
@ I have a 2019 manual Nc750x and I really love it, however for city traffic I would prefer DCT. Since this is a commuter bike, however for country roads I love the manual transmission.
Wow - As a digial nomad & part-time van lifer, this is why i love my Honda NC700 ✨️ I've had the DCT for over 5 years now and its one of my best deisions ever!!
Good overview of the bike. I own a 2014 model and have 102000km on it. We mostly tour with the bike, two-up with luggage. No problems with the bike and I cannot find any reason worth upgrading to another bike.
I have owned a manual NC750X and it is easily the best bike I have ever owned or ridden. I wish that I had bought the DCT though, as it would suit the engine characteristics perfectly. I bought the manual thinking that the DCT complexity would be a liability in the long term. I found out later that the complete bike and the DCT 'box are ultra reliable and almost never go wrong. It is a great pity though that Honda have persisted in fitting the worlds worst seat (too hard and with a very uncomfortable forward slope). Like you, I have fitted a Shad comfort seat and there are plenty of youtube videos showing how to reduce the slope of the seat. I like your Shad panniers. I bought the smaller panniers (SH28?) but they do not look as good as they appear to stick out like airbrakes.
I have a Honda NC750S DCT, I fitted a YSS rear shock for the X model which very slightly raised the rear this means it just turns a little sharper and is nicer in the twisties. The YSS unit paired with Andreani emulators in the front improved the handling and comfort. For commuting and relaxed easy touring the NC750 range are some of the best bikes out there from many different aspects. But if you want to go out for a blast of fast riding the limits of these bikes are very quickly found. It's a real shame because with another 30hp and some better brakes I really feel as though my NC would be one of the best bikes out there. Still when going for a fast play the power is a bit sad. Also I'm 48 and have been riding my whole life, these comments about the power are not made without a lot of experience.
I totally agree, I did 25,000 miles on my nc750x in about 3 months, so I won't disagree with the versatility of this bike, I raised the bike by just over an inch with an elongated cross link at the bottom, a cheap solution lol
Incredible review man! I’ve always liked the look at the 750 but for some reason gets a bad rap I feel like. Nice to see a real world review as opposed to someone taking it for a 20!min test ride! I trust this so much more b
Thanks for your time and video, I am 33 yo, and next year I want to get my driving licence and buy this bike. So I think even for me as a beginner it's a good option I really like this bike.
Thank you for watching and those kind words, I'm a biker through and through so videos are not designed rather pretty raw, but I guess real bikers hopefully prefer that, again thank you for your very kind words 👍
I've been off two wheels for seven years and am looking to get back. Thanks for a great review. I am seriously considering the '22 version of this bike, which does have updated Showa forks, and an optional charging port and taller screen.
You are taking us to the place where you are traveling. I like the greenary on both sides of the road. Great and honest review about the bike. It will be useful for the bike lovers. 👌👌 ride.
Honda bikes will always have a special place in my heart... it was one of my first bikes. They always bring back so many memories. Loved NC750X - Some new elements but retained the classic Honda look!
Everytime I watch your reviews I am so impressed with how you narrate them in a thorough and precise way. It makes me want this bike now lol. Excellent video my biker brother. Stay safe and blessed
So great Honda NC750X DCT my friend. Thanks for sharing. Your ride and review is so interesting. Full view and Big liked. Wishing you a happy week...👍👍
Yes, I carry a l-ion battery pack in the frunk too. It can power a phone, run a tyre compressor and could even start the bike in an emergency. Thanks for the review.
I have a manual 2021 version and love it. I was very nearly tempted away by a test ride on an Africa Twin Adventure Sports DCT recently and was all set to swap next year. But after being on the NC again and giving it some serious thought I find there is nothing the AT would do (or nothing I would do on an AT) that the NC would not. Plus, the fuel economy on the NC is out of this world and beats the AF hands down (I've had 250 miles out of a tank). Yes, the AT is a great bike, but I'm sticking with my trusty NC which I've fallen in love with again. The only thing I might swap it for at a later date is a DCT version. Having tried that on the AT I must say I'm impressed. With the money I'm saving not buying an AT I'm intending to kit out the NC with some luggage, protection etc.
I also have an dct AT but currently on a tour to raise money for orphans (right now in country 19) and I used my nc750x dct, it is the best bike when you want to eat miles
My favourite part of your videos is the scenery and the places you show, they are so rich of beauty! I do not anything about bikes or so but I enjoy the footage! Glad that you have all these opportunities to ride around and show us around!
Absolutely fantastic & unique assessment of an NC750X in a sea of so many. I've been on the brink of purchasing this specific make/model for some time based on quite an amazing & amassed collection of well-researched facts & opinions, and honestly, I must confess, I've been waiting for something better to be introduced that is capable of doing more for the dollar. You've confirmed that I've made the right choice and all that is left is to simply pull the trigger and implement the decision. Also, some of the most beautiful scenery & paved bike paths/roads that I've also seen in a while - I can almost smell those big, tall evergreens. Anyway, a wonderful review!
Your channel is rich and colorful! It's amazing! Browsing your video is like going back to school again! Let me learn a lot! thank you for your sharing!
Hi sorry if I am late here seeing your review on the NC750 but have been looking for a all rounder bike to fill the gap between my bikes . I first saw this at the NEC afew years ago & thought how boring this bike looked but I was so wrong it has so many benefits that I realy over looked & ticking the boxes one by one you called out . I want to add one thing to your negative in which may help you & other NC owners . Is to seal savers as you would put on over the forks it stops any grit getting down between the seals as they do on motocross bikes as the seals are very vulnerable to grit getting in .Clear gorilla tape on the fork legs to stop stone chips that could cause pitting that is easily pulled off & replaced after a while if needed to look fresh . Thank for your reminder that the NC is something I should be looking for once more .
Thank you buddy, to be honest it's the pitting that starts really early on these bikes, I think if you have clean stanchions then those gaters are great, but my bike already has pitting so I will rechrome them then get gaters. Thank you for also supporting these children charities by watching the TH-cam videos as all TH-cam monies go to support these charities 🙏
I think you just about nailed that. Another negative might be the seat for some, but I have changed mine, more out of a desire to fettle than anything else. Auxiliary power socket is an easy install in the trunk. I use mine for touring mostly and it is perfect for the job. If you want a sports bike, best steer clear but the torque and flexibility of the engine, using the different riding modes gives a good riding experience. Personally, I've done the sports bike thing and this bike just begs me to ride it. And I do.
I had a demo on the non adventure version, it was not very involving to ride with the DCT gearbox, but felt a very nicely balanced bike. It was cool having storage where the tank would be conventionally, and a useful size being able to fit a helmet in it.
Great thoughts buddy. Agree with you. This bike serves its purpose. For a 750 with its economical engine it is spot one for somebody who would like to travel and just enjoy a two wheel ride. That is what I think. Ride safe buddy.
Thank you buddy for that heart warming compliment that I probably don't deserve and thank you for also supporting these children charities by watching the TH-cam videos as all TH-cam monies go to support these charities 🙏
Was the middle finger on the glove sitting on the tank at 1:11 intentional? Lol. I tell you what mate with the music and the nature of your voice I actually found moments of this video emotional for some reason aha. I see a lot of these NC750's out on the road, I even spoke to a nice gentleman a few months ago who had one because he had a disability that preventing him for using gears effectively, he spoke nothing but high praise for his NC750 saying it had kept him on 2 wheels which personally I found beautiful. 88mpg, that's incredible. Great review mate, hope you're well brother.
The finger was a slight joke to a friend, and yes what alot of people may not appreciate which your certainly have is the DCT helps our veteran bikers to bike a little longer, which is a great blessing. Thank you buddy
Considering buying one of these for my next bike. DCT sells it for me, as I have grown tired of changing up to 6th, then down to 1st, then up to 6th, then down to 1st .... on and on and on. Currently ride a Verys 1000.
A nice peaceful review of a great bike, I know because I have one in the same livery. Like a lot of bikers I have had a go at almost everything. My last before the Honda was a BMW K1300GT which was a barnstormer but oh so heavy. Just moving its bulk onto the stand required much strength and persistence. I got to hear about the 750X from a friend so I popped down to my local dealer for a tentative look. The dealer had a demo unit sitting outside and he asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin. By the time I got back I had already made up my mind and a few weeks later one was in my garage. Like Bikersam's conclusion, this is an absolute all rounder, it's light, practical, good looking, cheap to run and with the added paniers great for travelling. You are never going to beat a sports bike with the Honda but that's not what this bike is about. Mine came with hand guards and heated grips which are so welcomed on a cold day. Complaints? It would be great if it had cruise control, the screen is fairly hopeless and as Bikersam says, more connectivity would be useful but that aside, this is a very affordable mile muncher, especially with the wonderful DCT gearbox.
@@Bykersam Unfortunately I'm not that mechanically minded and lack confidence in that area. I take my had off to chaps like you who can just get on and get it done. ;)
Hi great review sorry a bit late coming to the video. But I do hope you still have the bike . Done tours of Ireland & a couple European . 100% brilliant on fuel yes just changed the front screen & add some hand guards to keep your hands out of the wind . Heated graps oxford pro just the best I have ever had easy on easy off all on the grip . & thing that add a thunder box next the battery wire in your Accessories then then only the two wires to the battery easy. Yes one thing the forks but some Progressive springs should sort that out . & if you got enough money left up Grade the rear shock if you feel Necessary . One other thing to watch is the swing arm it can tend to rust but if just kept clean or cf50 or a coat of thin oil will stay good as new for longer . Brilliant bike super Reliability & miles of smiles because your not in a race the Pleasure is all yours . :) Reliability
Hello! My friend. Wow! It's a motorcycle riding video that gives me fun, admiration, and healing. I watch your video until the end. I hope everything you do will be successful in 2022. 👍👍👍
I was actually looking for my first bike. I'm not good with manual so when I heard this bike was automatic I was happy. I will give this commuter adventure bike a look into. Thank you for your review. :)
Very nice review my friend. Flipping a switch to change gears sounds great. Also, for a 750 with an economic engine it looks great to me. Thanks for this wonderful review. I also enjoyed the ride. Good day my friend.
Great review, I like the look of it, I like the sound of the 4 riding modes to. Sounds like a great bike. Enjoyed the review and can't wait for the next one 🙂
Awesome ride Happy Monday my friend. Hope you had a great the holiday and i want to wish you and your family a wonderful and safe 2022!!!! So happy we stopped by again! Have a great week like # 73
Thank you dearest Moeed, I honestly have never had less than 12 bikes at any one time, I ride, enjoy and then sell, I don't have normal vehicles and to be honest I find parking for motorcycles so much easier. I am very blessed
It’s a great bike . For its intended market . Riders use to high end European bikes that cost twice would rather have a quick shifter on something more exotic. Wish it had cruise also. I have had 3 European bikes and it’s hard to get on a Japanese bike again.
Just watch out with the DCT NC 750 2021 .Mine stalled at lest once every ride I had to sell it as Honda was clueless as how to fix it .They now claim they fixed with a recall only AFTER people got hurt Way to go Honda !!! Also noticed heat to right foot in hot days ....Please look into this issue before you pull the trigger.
Maybe that has something to do with the throttle by wire that they introduced in the 2021, I have a 2018 nc750 dct which has cable throttle and I have zero issues.
Great review my friend I’m not familiar with this bike but you did an amazing job with it. Of course your voice is so calm and soothing as well. Well done sir 👊✊

Sounds like a great bike, you were able to gauge its pros and cons over the 9 days you travelled through north and south Whales. Good that it only has the one negative Liked
Great review 👍😊 I have recently bought a late 2017 model (manual) and love it. Have been interested in this bike for some time now. Part-exed a CBF1000 for this bike. Thought I might miss the power, but if anything the NC has loads more torque down low, where you can really use it. Suits my style of riding completely 😃. Was really wanting a DCT but this came along at a good price. Gear changes even with the manual are very smooth which surprised me. Regards 👍👍😊
Thank you Goose, seriously I have received so much stick from other riders on FB who bash this bike, what they don't realise, is I've been riding 35 years never had less than a dozen bikes at any one time, ridden in over 70+ countries, travelled 115 countries, and this is definitely in my top ten and having ridden over 250 bikes I know this is a great bike indeed, some bikers never really understand its use and purpose 👍👍👍
@@Bykersam Well, I'm a 59yr old biker. Biked a bit in my 20's and again now in my 50's. Will probably have this bike for some time to come. I commute most days from Trim to Dubin and back, 100km daily. I suppose maybe 15,000km a year? The NC is perfect. My wife likes the Pillion position aswell 👍😊 Many more miles & years of riding man.... Regards 👍👋
@@goose3973 Hi Goose. How do you get on with an adult pillion in regards power and how easy it is to ride? I am on the cusp of buying an NC750-X DCT (I have previously owned a 2015 model) to tour Scotland and my 16 year old son wants to come. My only concern is if the NC is capable with a 16 stone dad and his 12 stone son on board.....

A fair and honest review. I like the bike especially with DCT.
Nice job mate👍
Thank you
I think you just about nailed that. And I do.
I totally agree, I too got a shad gel seat lol. Thank you 👍
I had a demo on the non adventure version, it was not very involving to ride with the DCT gearbox, but felt a very nicely balanced bike. It was cool having storage where the tank would be conventionally, and a useful size being able to fit a helmet in it.
Thank you buddy
It's an allrounder. I have had mine for the last 5 years and yes the fork seals seem to be a problem.
A great bike indeed
Great thoughts buddy. Agree with you. This bike serves its purpose. For a 750 with its economical engine it is spot one for somebody who would like to travel and just enjoy a two wheel ride. That is what I think. Ride safe buddy.
Well said RRR 👍
@@Bykersam Thanks MIA.
Waiting is over now for this beautiful bike review awesome bike with abs breaks 🆗👍 love from MVYTG
Thank you behtey
It's a good all round bike with a solid reliable engine. I did my DAS on one. Nice honest review as usual.
Thank you noobiker
Where your riding in this video is the reason I'm going for the xadv 750 :)
Lol 👍👍👍, beautiful wales
Wow this Honda NC750X DCT looks so beautiful my friend. Great in depth review. Always fun watching your video. Hope you have a wonderful new week.
Thank you
An excellent, clear, and properly well developed review. Top notch. Subbed👌
Honestly its so relaxing, I also swapped my manual AT to a dct Africa Twin 👍
@@Bykersam .... Just a matter of time before I buy a DCT. Cheers
Good review. I am looking at one of these instead of a scooter which arguably could also perform as well with 300/350 cc.
It is a great bike indeed
Wow that is wonderful to hear, and you totally right, love your take 👍
On the 2021 version there is the facility to add a USB port in the frunk, supplied by Honda and is C type, I think it was £60ish fitted.
60 pounds is steep, I fitted one in my nc750x myself, a Chinese one albeit but only £8.
@@Bykersam Unfortunately I'm not that mechanically minded and lack confidence in that area. I take my had off to chaps like you who can just get on and get it done. ;)
Another great vidz to see my friend. Yes definitely it's a amazing bike. Just always remember Ride Safe Always bro.
Thank you friend
Wow great amazing sharing Dear zabadast zabadast really i love it your video thanks for sharing
Thank you dear
Great review for uour motorbike. It seems to be you like to ride in a motor and go anywhere and enjoy the beautiful scenic view
Thank you and yes I do
Hi great review sorry a bit late coming to the video. :)
Reliability
@@rolandstaines3249 totally agree and I still have it in my stables
Hello! My friend.
Wow! It's a motorcycle riding video that gives me fun, admiration, and healing.
I watch your video until the end.
I hope everything you do will be successful in 2022.
👍👍👍
Thank you
I was actually looking for my first bike. I'm not good with manual so when I heard this bike was automatic I was happy. I will give this commuter adventure bike a look into. Thank you for your review. :)
Thank you, it is a great bike
Another brilliant vlog buddy, great in depth review as always (nice to see it’s about the Honda too ), ride safe matey 👍🏼
Thank you, just done devil's staircase in the frost, so so dangerous
Very nice review my friend. Flipping a switch to change gears sounds great. Also, for a 750 with an economic engine it looks great to me. Thanks for this wonderful review. I also enjoyed the ride.
Good day my friend.
Thank you gasper
What a lovely video, enjoy your beautiful day my friend.
Thank you
I know a few people that have that bike and they are totally happy with it. Nice review mate.
Thank you buddy, this bike gets a bad rap as a slow sluggish bike, but most don't realise why it is that way 👍

Watching from NZ. Good info about this bike. Enjoy and Happy New Year! C U

Have a great week like # 73
Thank you friend
Such a detailed review. You got access to some really mean machines. I should start envying you. Greetings from Pakistan
Thank you
I can see this bike as an ideal commuter ride with plenty of storage and power.
Thank you, very true indeed
I liked the tour looking at the scenery . So beautiful and the bike seems great :)
I rode it in beautiful Wales
@@Bykersam Oh well that's why it was so beautiful haha :)
Beautiful place to drive the motor bike..great sharing my friend. Thankyou👍🥰🥰
Thank you
Very much informative and useful
Thank you
Great review for your travel buddy..so informative I enjoyed the view as well!
Thank you
Just watch out with the DCT NC 750
2021 .Mine stalled at lest once every ride
I had to sell it as Honda was clueless as how to fix it .They now claim they fixed with a recall only AFTER people got hurt
Way to go Honda !!!
Also noticed heat to right foot in hot days ....Please look into this issue before you pull the trigger.
Interesting, thanks for the share
Maybe that has something to do with the throttle by wire that they introduced in the 2021, I have a 2018 nc750 dct which has cable throttle and I have zero issues.
Great reviews as always and lovely riding roads!
Thank you Zishan

Great review 👍😊
I have recently bought a late 2017 model (manual) and love it.
@@Bykersam
Well, I'm a 59yr old biker. Biked a bit in my 20's and again now in my 50's. Will probably have this bike for some time to come. I commute most days from Trim to Dubin and back, 100km daily. I suppose maybe 15,000km a year? The NC is perfect. My wife likes the Pillion position aswell 👍😊
Many more miles & years of riding man.... Regards 👍👋
@@goose3973 well said 👍
@@goose3973 Hi Goose.
Thank you buddy. Good review.
