Those two buildings at around 08:00 are museums. one is the natural history museum, the other is the arts history museum. both well worth a visit. hope you went?
Thanks! What do you like about these new videos and style? I’m doing a test with the algorithm, not sure what I’m going to do with the old videos. In my opinion, they are not at the same level as these recent ones. I hope to do this same kind of content in Colombia traveling around and also other countries.
@@LifewithDavid mostly that your showing other countries and cultures and how the people are in each place you go. You seem to have a very insightful perspective on cultural differences. The other older videos offered a lot of value for someone moving or considering moving to Colombia or any new country. The cultural differences, your perspective, cost of living, and interviews were amazing. Im moving to Medellin in December and a lot of the older videos have been extremely helpful. Maybe put them on a Patreon, id be happy to pay to support! You put a lot of work in, if they effect the algorithm negatively I think you can still monetize them just maybe in another way because they're really valuable! Also if someone becomes a fan of you, it gives them something to binge. Just my two cents thanks for the great content!!!
Hi, I´m living in Vienna, and I see a video by you the first time. I even watched just 2 n half minutes by now, but you and your way to present are very sympathetic :D
The grand imperial architecture is impressive but I was totally hooked on your Colombian neighborhood tours, hope your return an do more of them because I’m coming back to Medellín.
Based upon David's Medellin videos and my own perspective, I moved from Miami to Medellin in Belen. I love the people, history, community cultures, pros and cons David has provided us with. David, I look forward to your return, mi Paisa!
@6:16 my boi went for the classic "Schnitzlsemmerl" :D @11:27 that used to be my stop after a night of clubbing in the 1st district, needing a snack haha @13:25 vienna is planning to create an "oasis" where people can chill with a lot of green spaces down there
Great video! Vienna looks like a lovely place that I wasn't that familiar with. I only started watching for the Colombia stuff but you're cool to watch. Not only are you very handsome but also in great shape judging by all those pushups. 😉
Is that 20% what was lost or what was damaged and reconstructed? It's confusing there. It's usually some percentage of both in many cities that suffered bombing. Warsaw in Poland I read was 90% or more damaged/destroyed but now the old town and old architecture is back there. So it was reconstructed in the old style. So that 90% is no longer valid as it's no longer that but how much was lost and never reconstructed I don't know. In my country Latvia too the city of Daugavpils was around 52% damaged/destroyed during war but I'm not sure whether that means what was lost and never reconstructed or does that include some percentage of what we still see there today. I know that a lot of buildings in daugavpils were reconstructed, they have dates there on buildings when they were reconstructed in the 1940s and maybe the 50s
@@dreamthedream8929 I think most has been repaired. Keeping the old architecture and look of the town is ingrained in the law. There are tons of buildings that have to keep their original appearance.
You were certainly right about the area around the Hofburg being expensive, In Vienna, the inner city is one of the most posh areas in the entire city, if not the country. Just as a side note, the Hofburg used to be the main residence of the Austrian Emperor and is now the official seat of the austrian president.
@lksdgh6058 Sorry, I didn't see my phone auto corrected the correct word. Anyway, I got one outside the big train station near Prater in Vienna. I haven't been the same since. The closest we get in Oregon is a gyro. Now, the meat and ingredients taste bad to me.
Expensive area for sure 😂 Bugatti Veyron at 10:58 Yeah 1m car. With petrol at 7-8 / gallon. I know that car .. my friends boss bought one in California over 10 years ago 900k in a sweetheart deal.
When you actually live in Vienna it's more of that guy smacking the locker experience and less of the beauty and inner city experience. Believe me lol.
Never ever buy concert tickets from those guys who approach you in the street dressed in an oldfashioned outfit...it´s heavily overpriced...the same concert tickets bought direct at the Opera´s counter cost the half... I don´t say that those scam you but the addition is simply high because those don´t get the tickets direct from the Opera but from a distributor who does have his share as well and so does the guy in the street for selling Mozart + Beethoven lived and worked both in Vienna but Musicians do from time to time concert tours and Prague was on their tour list besides other destinations as well. But Beethoven did those rarely and so by far not that often than Mozart did.
Theres definitely some red light district and other criminal organized international things going on like in every major city, but its not directly tocuhing the general public. so they stay among each other and its more business so its not really violent. Most violence if it happens its between migrant gangs, that arent powerful and also just do stuff among each other
David in my home city? 😮 I wish I met you somewhere in the streets of Vienna. I work 2 minutes from Belvedere. ❤ I know the part of the city you stayed. Not the best one hence graffiti and a bad elevator there. 😅
@@LifewithDavidNP mate. Are you going to Prague as well? I lived there. Cool city pretty similar to Vienna, but more medieval and smaller but absolutely fantastic for walking. You can literally walk around and see all important sightseeing sights

Maybe it's weird, but since you've shown us so much of Colombia it's fun to see you at our "home turf" for a change.
Im really enjoying myself discovering your side of the pond.
David, you can't go so long between videos...I love them too much! I have been waiting for updates on your travels! Thanks for the great videos!
Glad you like them! Trying once a week to build anticipation. 😊

Schwarzenegger would be proud of you and your healthy push-ups in his home country👏🏼
😂 that’s true!! It would be cool if he saw this video
Thanks David. Vienna is an architectural wonder. Beautiful.
I agree!
The guy kicking the lockers was suddenly!
Crazy stuff! 😂
Typical day in Vienna ^^
It's great to see your partner after all these videos! We love you and we haven't even met you.
She’s little by little getting over her shyness. 😊
I tell you what, Nati knows her stuff. The quick switching between clips keeps people short attention spans interested!
Keep it up!
Thanks man! She’s a natural at it.
Love your channel,i was born in Romania, live in NYC and have been to Bogota and most of Mexico.Enjoy Europe and maybe one day you make it to Romania
Thank you 🙏🏼
You visiting my home city. Awesome to see! Hope you liked it.

Why? Medellin isn't a nice city and the people there are very hateful and prejudice to foreigners

Amazing arcitecture the city has, thoose old buildings are so cool
20% of Vienna was destroyed during WWII. It is amazing how it was restored.
It’s beautiful

for the most part, the damaged buildings were in the outer districts, like floridsdorf.
yes we are living in an open air museum :D
Vienna is a really nice city awesome video!
Happy you enjoyed it.
Looks like you had a great view. I really enjoyed my time in Vienna as well. It is a very vibrant city.

The blackbird was impressed by your push ups. he said drop and give me 20 more 😂
Haha and he was pretty big and strong himself.
love the push ups, keep at it
💪🏼
"Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Medellin anymore.
Haha
when are you coming back to 🇨🇴 Colombia
David, what happened to all your older videos? I wanted to show someone a few videos but looks like you removed most of your older content
That’s crazy, I was JUST there last week!!! We were probably there at the same time
Nice!
Nati showed up! She said her German is intermediate level.
Traveling Europe is always good ❤
David is definitely a very frugal man 😄 "No Thank you"
@16:17 😂😂
Frugal and polite. 😂
How are you finding the food? Even their junk food seems healthier. Have you tried a Dornet Kebab?
Much more healthier. I like it.
Its called Döner Kebab

High powered ICE cars are so expensive to insure in Austria, that even most rich people say "no thx".
you need to visit Spain and Portugal

are you going to Poland? ;d
Stay tuned for those videos to come. 😉
I was there 4 weeks ago

Go to Bratislava as well bro ,it's much cheaper
Would love to in the future
The fact that the mongols made it all the way to vienna is insane
The Mongols never made it to Vienna, the Turks tried in 1529 and 1683!
I heard the bread in europe is way healthier than the bread we have in america
Huge difference!
Good video
Glad you enjoyed it!

Future trip for sure
Hello my frend....
Hello
ÖBB is not QBB 🤭
And your AirBNB ripped you off. You´d better stay in a Hotel next time!
So now you learned. Don’t book the cheapest option again
This one wasn’t cheap
Everything horrible, food, people, avoid😂
wait a minutes, you like Vienna more than Budapest ???!!! .........bruhhhh
It might have been the cold that got to me. Got lucky with nice weather in Vienna
Waste of time😂
Your accent is cartoonish.
