1: Peach is wearing her dress while riding on a bike. In past Mario Kart installments, Peach only wore her dress while using karts, and switches to a biker outfit while using bikes or ATVs. 2: The Donkey Kong from The Super Mario Bros. Movie is present.
I saw various people speculate that the reason as to why Peach is wearing a dress while riding a bike is because we'll be able to customise the character's appearance in this game. Now, let's not get our hopes up since this is just meer speculation, but if this were the case, it would be really cool! Though I would hope that if they do that, they do a thing similar to what they did with Yoshi in 8 instead of cluttering the roster.
Okay there's things I've noticed so far when I watched this: - DK has his look from the movie. - The Mario characters seem to have more expressions to them. Just look at when they're driving versus them jumping up to drift and when they're actually drifting. - The little white chalks at the beginning(I don't know what it's called lmao) are counted up to 24, indicating that we will get a 24 player game. - Peach isn't in her biker outfit when she's clearly riding a bike. - I could be blind, but I think I saw a Goomba as a racer? If you pause at 1:52, you can see him all the way in the back. Also, call me crazy, but I think I see King Bomb Omb near him? - The Mario characters look sort of like Mario Wonder where they're cuter, and a bit chubbier. - Rosalina's front wheels are very odd looking.
@ Probably was Baby Daisy, but I definitely saw King Boo who I think was a bit of ahead of her. I saw him a few seconds after 1:52. King Bomb Omb(or some other character) was right behind Toadette and Baby Daisy.
Here are some things I noticed: 1. You can see Pauline at the back of the pack at the end of the trailer. 2. Donkey Kong has his design from the movie. 3. Peach is riding a bike but is wearing her usual dress. Perhaps the biker outfits are unlockables for the Princesses and Pauline. 4. The track is called Mario Bros. Circuit. 5. There are 24 racers! 6. Red Yoshi has a drive thru! 7. The track looks like Radiator Springs from Cars ngl.
A few things I noticed: 1. DK is literally ripped from the Mario Movie. The eyes are the giveaway. 2. Rosalina is driving a snowmobile-esque kart with no tires at the front. 3. It resembles Mario kart 64, Bowser literally looks like his Mario kart 64 render! The hopping returning to me implies they are heavily taking Mario kart 64 as inspiration for this game!
They ended their drifts early, so they didn’t have enough time to charge the mini turbo. As for the boost from standing behind a player, that’s probably to make the footage look cleaner and less overwhelming. I doubt that they’re going to remove such a strategic feature from the game.
@@FunkyKongYESPeppaPigNO but why would they purposefully not show a mini turbo? There's gotta be a reason. I'm not saying they removed mini turbos obviously, but there might be a new mechanic they didn't wanna spoil
Characters I can definitely see: Mario Luigi Bowser Peach Toad Donkey Kong Yoshi Rosalina Daisy Wario Waluigi Pauline Baby Mario Baby Luigi Baby Peach Toadette King Boo Birdo
If Mario Kart 9 is presented in 4K at 60fps (or higher) in docked mode via DLSS, we're looking at power like never before! Nintendo (and Bandai Namco) is playing with power! I'm definitely gonna buy the Nintendo Switch 2!
I saw Mario, Luigi, Bowser, DK, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Toadette, Peach, Daisy, Pauline, Rosalina, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, Baby Rosalina, Birdo, King Boo and Green Koopa. That makes 21 characters on screen at once, so I guess 24 players is happening
Im excited for new mario kart either way but I expected more graphical uplift. Some people literally have mistaken it for mk8 because it doesnt look that much different other than some different character designs.
They look... Classic. Not only because of Peach in her classic dress instead of her race suit from WII and 8. But look at that Donkey Kong, it looks so cartoonish lmao
I'm not really fond of the artstyle on some of the characters (DK looks hideously out of place in that regard), but I guess it's great to have a new console Mario Kart game after a decade. Hopefully we get even more characters (maybe some like Hammer Bro, Toadsworth and E.Gass who've either been cut or had a minor NPC role), and some more retro karts.
I’m really excited to see this new Mario kart. But I’m also kinda sad because this game is most likely gonna have better quality than MK8 (+Deluxe), and MK8 was one of the best Mario karts ever
I really really hope that they bring back the mario kart wii unlock system, mario kart 8 never hit the same with everything unlocked right off the bat (apart from a few car parts that you could unlock by picking up some coins)

@@abrahamgaming2324 Well, people didn't like the inclusion of the Koopalings in Mario Kart 8 due of taking too many character slots from fan-favorites
FINALLY NEW MARIO KART!!!!! IM SO HYPED!!!!! I NEED THIS SO BAD!!!!
Mcdonalds yoshi restaurant
Donkey Kong new design may hint at a new DK game maybe?
...Or maybe is just an update to armonize it with the Bros movies.
If Toad's Factory isn't in it, we riot. That's all I'm gonna say 🤣
OMG Donkey Kong has his Mario movie design in the next Mario kart game
They all look like their 90s era versions
3:02 When they went over the boost, only Mario had a flame around him.
Luigi also got one, and later you can see Bowser and Peach also got the flames
I wonder if that's a player-specific particle effect. Everyone gets the boost, but only the player perspective sees the extra effects.
@@TheLetterbomber Probably to help with performance if there's 24 racers on the track
@@TheLetterbomberThat was my guess too lol
0:59 Does anyone else see Donkey Kong's design looking a little different? 👀
Almost looks like his Illumination Design
He looks similar to his design from the movie.
OHO, I've noticed it too.
Same and I love it
I didn't expect to see his design change, but I don't mind it tbh.
After careful inspection and consideration upon watching at 10% speed, I can confirm this is indeed Mario Kart
Paulina finally playable.
Interesting new designs! This feels like a mix between the 64 version and the Mario movie version (especially DK’s new look)The ladies seem to be wearing their dresses on bikes too and peach’s hair seems to be down and not up in a pony. Interesting
Looks cool, it hard to see quality in a badly compressed TH-cam video. Cant wait to have this in 4k
I can not IMAGINE the number of items being thrown with 24 player races that is INCREDIBLE
So this “radiator springs” track is this games Mario circuit
now all we need is the rest of the cars locations
It resembles Mario kart 64, Bowser literally looks like his Mario kart 64 render! The hopping returning to me implies they are heavily taking Mario kart 64 as inspiration for this game!
Anyone else notice how none of them mini turboed?
Also no one got the boost from standing behind another player
They ended their drifts early, so they didn’t have enough time to charge the mini turbo. As for the boost from standing behind a player, that’s probably to make the footage look cleaner and less overwhelming. I doubt that they’re going to remove such a strategic feature from the game.
@@FunkyKongYESPeppaPigNO but why would they purposefully not show a mini turbo? There's gotta be a reason. I'm not saying they removed mini turbos obviously, but there might be a new mechanic they didn't wanna spoil
Characters I can definitely see:
Mario
Luigi
Bowser
Peach
Toad
Donkey Kong
Yoshi
Rosalina
Daisy
Wario
Waluigi
Pauline
Baby Mario
Baby Luigi
Baby Peach
Toadette
King Boo
Birdo
rip funky kong
@@Faab. Hopefully he'll make it in too along with Diddy Kong!
@timmyb.3426 THE WHAT KONG?
@@Faab. WE DON'T EVEN KNOW IF HE'S IN THE GAME YET
If Mario Kart 9 is presented in 4K at 60fps (or higher) in docked mode via DLSS, we're looking at power like never before! Nintendo (and Bandai Namco) is playing with power! I'm definitely gonna buy the Nintendo Switch 2!
24 players are gonna make it more chaotic! Also the new look of Donkey Kong's design, looking like the Movie Donkey Kong.
2:30 take a look at DK's face, that's a new design
People are saying it looks like Wonder, and it kind of does, but I get the most N64 render vibes from it.
Nintendo dropping Rare's DK design feels both weird and awesome
Thanks for this, Andre!
I was expecting a 3-hour video from this 5 second footage, I'm disappointed in you guys
that will be the next video.....
I remember watching Andre’s Mario Kart 8 gameplay analysis videos in 2013. I think that’s around the time I first subscribed.
It not only looks barely better than MK8 it also appears to re-use toads and yoshis outside the tracks
They could be placeholders
DK being in his movie design? We’re probably getting Foreman Spike and the blue shell Koopa then.
Bowser's design reminds me of his 64 promo design.
You could convince someone this is a new Tour track for the booster course pass.
Mario looks like he’s holding his breath the whole time lol. Also, everyone looks kind of “Wonder”-ish, y’know?
They look... Classic. Not only because of Peach in her classic dress instead of her race suit from WII and 8. But look at that Donkey Kong, it looks so cartoonish lmao
, I'm so hype to play something I 1st played 11 years ago when I was in high-school
The mushroom shaped buttes are a nice touch
Perfect! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You can see a wonder seed omg
At first I thought it was a redesigned Item Box but yeah, that’s definitely a Wonder Seed
Where
Where?
timestamp?
Nevermind I see it! It's under the front hood of the Yoshi's diner, appearing to glow a bright orange.
that Track kinda reminds me of Radiator Springs from Cars
AAAH IM SO HYPED!!
I wonder if the Switch 2 will have an upgrade game setting like the PS4 - PS5 for example.
I like Yoshi and DK’s looks! I think a little “refresh” is fun.
Bowser’s mouth is always open and it looks creepy and just flat out weird
…Bowser almost always has an open mouth in the games?
@@aidanmallon9879 I know but it is in game and not just promotional art and images I don’t think he even closes his mouth once
I like that snowmobile vehicle. Actual tank treads! Yea please!
24 player Mario kart is real!!! Ctgp r moment
This time at a stable 60fps
Is 24 players available for public play by now?
This just reminded me of the times I used to watch the MK8 analysis videos you guys made 11 years ago... Good times.
Donkey Kong design from Mario Movie
I'm not really fond of the artstyle on some of the characters (DK looks hideously out of place in that regard), but I guess it's great to have a new console Mario Kart game after a decade. Hopefully we get even more characters (maybe some like Hammer Bro, Toadsworth and E.Gass who've either been cut or had a minor NPC role), and some more retro karts.
I’m really excited to see this new Mario kart. But I’m also kinda sad because this game is most likely gonna have better quality than MK8 (+Deluxe), and MK8 was one of the best Mario karts ever
So? Why would anyone be sad for better gaming?
Its just nostalgia 😂@@jat4651
It’s just that MK8 will lose its popularity, and it was such a good game
Graphically it looks the same as Mario Kart 8. Or a Tour track on Deluxe.
I really really hope that they bring back the mario kart wii unlock system, mario kart 8 never hit the same with everything unlocked right off the bat (apart from a few car parts that you could unlock by picking up some coins)
0:33 isn’t that vehicle that Rosalina is driving, similar to the one from Mario kart tour?
It can also be a filler trailer. Like when Nintendo did it with first look at the WiiU for the Legend Of Zelda trailer (the Battle with the spider). That art style did never seen de daylight in any new installment.
What I can see form the part when de kart did bounce form the ground It looks like the style they used in Mario Wonder.
Donkey Kong has a similar design to the movie!
I LOVE that they are taking inspiration from Wonder (and its beta!) designs. Everything feels so expressive and lively.
What did they do to you, DK? He’s so chonky
Chunky Kong making a comeback??? 😃😃😃
