The 3 level crossings in Pakenham will be grade separated next year with 2.5 kms of skyrail. Plus they are also extending the metro line 2 kms to a new station called East Pakenham which is also set to open next year in 2024. The Cranbourne and East Pakenham Lines will be entirely level crossing free by 2025.
There was a discussion a while back about it reopening for the factory workers in the area. As it stands, it does not pose any operational problems with it being there.
Looks like they're allowing space on the skyrail for 4 lines, that should speed up some of the waiting for metro trains to leave the platform vacant
It would be nice 🙂 We always get stuck behind a spark which is inevitable with the intensity of the suburban timetable.
There was a 3rd line planned from Caulfield to Westall that never eventuated
@@davidnorton7464 and probably won't ever exist now, unfortunately 😔
General motors sould open their a lots of houses appearing close buy which is close to the station
I don't know of any plans for that but who knows what the future holds 👍😀
Looks like a new station at pakenham😊

Dandenong to Pakenham is only 115kph. A little further down the track it becomes 160kph
What train is this?
It is the Bairnsdale service run with a VLocity railcar.
why cant you do camera from dandenong to warrial and it might be easy
Pakenham to Warragul is already done. At the end of this video if you just click on the suggested link, it will continue the trip to Warragul. 👍😊
They need to demolish General Motor's station
Then they'll find that its still needed.

Can't. It's heritage listed.
What do the warning signs mean?
Which warning signs are you referring to? Maybe the yellow signs that pop up in the bottom left?
@@driver667 yes
@@jordanferrazza8700 it's actually a curve board to indicate the speed around and direction of the curve coming up 👍😊
@@driver667 Why is the train going much slower? Is that for V/Lines and things?
@@jordanferrazza8700 it was travelling at track speed 👍😊
