I really love the subtle over patina effect on the armour, I'll be giving that a go and then maybe adapt the other parts a bit. I'll definitely be mixing a bit of green in to the shades as well as it looks fantastic!
Thanks for sharing your take on grimdark! I agree that there should be more variety than just primed and dipped in old engine oil (not that there's anything wrong with that). Using the brush tip protector for sponge chipping was pretty neat too!
Great way to do Death Guard as well. I would also use the airbrush (like you did) to sketch out the highlights and us that as a map for the stippling step that comes after. Maybe also using the airbrush later to enhance the shadows.

Hi, what thinner did you use for the GW Waith bone? it's very smooth with no speckling.
Tamiya x-20a thinner works well with citadel
