I was legit having the first (hopefully only) panic attack of my life after launching a project of mine and seeing almost no movement in the stats... apparently Steam updates stats to devs in 24 hour increments lol. This video was instrumental in helping that out, your project and goal here was so wholesome and inspiring.
I don’t collect minis, I don’t paint minis, I don’t play warhammer, I know nothing about the lore, I don’t know who you are, I don’t know what I’m doing here, but this was great and I was very entertained by you explaining your passion.

Pretty easy decision now. Amazing thing to do, and I can't wait to be able to start printing soon!

As someone who immediately got severe eye twitches looking at that much unpainted stuff at the start, I can't help but be hugely impressed with how you tackled such a massive project.

As someone who paints individual models (slowly.... lol), because I have a short attention span, the idea of painting an entire army in one go is incredible.. well done.

I know how it feels to sell a collection. Insurance company told me I had 30 days to put a new roof on my house or my mortgage contract would be void and I would lose my house. I can't let my family be homeless. So.... I sold all of my MTG decks. I collected for 20 years. I actually cried as I boxed them to ship out. But it put a brand new roof over my family's head. 11000$. Ill never play again. So.... I just got into Wh40k. And you sir have become my personal painting teacher. You are a good person for what you did for the guy who sold his army. God bless you.

That's cool I had something similar about 9 years ago I stopped now, but I do watch your videos and everytime it makes me wish i still had my army.
I was wondering if you just follow the codex or do you alter units and coulors as I would like to get back into 40k but don't have the patience to bulid or paint, I had impeiral guard and I would like to see if I can get them to look like units form the Halo universe.
I would act the same as him. Just be in complete shock and not know how to react and say thank you haha.

This is so great, you're a great guy Emil! Brought a tear to my eye, having sat in the same situation where i had to sell alot of my old hobby stuff, to help out family.
This project is one of the most human and beautiful thing I have ever seen. It was so touching I almost cried. Just amazing, this is such a big way of showing love.

Yeah. I mean you can do a lot with just a handful of Terminators in a month.
*Also he does this full time AND still had to hire Harry Potter as a painting buddy for a couple of weeks.
Lol it was a joke folks. Realistically I only spent about 10 hours painting and magnetizing, just spread out over a million half hour painting sessions throughout the month, cuz dad responsibilities lol

I had my autistic cousin come up to Scotland from Wales in the UK, he has been into warhammer, I paid Ted warhammer 15 years ago, so went into my attic and dug out my Tau, wasn't the best painted. Treated him a trip to the store and spent £300, and had a nostalgic moment, and want to get back into my Tau, I am going to donate my unbuilt Tau hammerhead and other figures to the store. This made me beleave in the faith of humanity, you sir are a kind hearted gent. If I can help then let me know. I am hardly on media. Have a good weekend.

Squidmar paints a huge army of Tau in a few days while I'm here taking 1 month to paint 2 space marines.
Haha i know your feeling, over half of my army is painted by my freind, and rest is a VERY slow progress... Even tho its "just" khorne.
I was the same until I started batch painting. Now I can smash out a tactical squad in almost the time it took me to do two minis. Say I was painting a tactical squad of Dark Angels. May as well do the whole ten in base coat while I've got the green out. Just smash it on there. Then the same with the Leadbelcher and so on. As one mini is set aside to dry, grab the next one in line and repeat. Then I end up with a finished playable unit that looks pretty good, and I can move onto the next unit. Really helps get through the backlog of unpainted minis.
