Jasmine will be strong in Paris. She shows amazing races since the beginning of the outdoors.
Love this! So many amazing, deserving, lovable athletes to root for. More videos like these please NBC Sports 🙏
Looked at her back ground she was born & raised in South Carolina (hence the southern accent). Her Mom is Puerto Rican and she decided to honor that side of her family by representing Puerto Rico.
She deserves it ! Keep going Jasmine ur a legend
She doesn’t deserved it, she has to earn it and def going to be a tall task with the great athletes she’s going against
We love you Jasmine!!! ❤️🇵🇷💐
Hay camacho no sabia que habias caido en rio y luego tokio wow eres un ejemplo de superación espectacular esa medalla mucha lucha exfuerzo
Beautiful story 🇵🇷❤️
and more special when you don't have that many track and field champions in your small country. Awesome achievement!

You are the queen baby ❤ 👑
She sounds so puertorican!
I’ll let her break my heart 😢
🇵🇷♥️💪🔥🙌
🔥🔥🔥
🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷💪💪🎊
Queen remember you are American first, and still have some appreciation 😔
She’s proud to represent her Puerto Rican heritage stop!
Well guess what, Puerto Rico is the small child of USA. Puerto Rico is owned by the U.S. 🤷🏼♂️. She is an American citizen of course 🫣🤭
Dont care what she identifies as shes Afro AMERICAN.
No don’t be angry that she holds her flag with pride you heard her for her to represent Puerto Rico was exciting so go cry some more!
Most Afro Americans don't have American Indigenous in their dna. She does.
The first one is the oldest 😅
She didn't claim PR because of her heritage, she claimed it because the 110 hurdles on Team USA is like the hardest team in the world to make. One wrong step can cook you at trials. I got nothin but love for PR, but taking the easy way out comes with a cost. SHE absolutely is gonna come. You can clap ALL you want, she's a phony.
Stop talking. Many Puerto Ricans have represented the US in Olympics and even won gold for the US in Olympic games. Stop whining is not one way street. Anyone in the world can compete for the US but NOT everyone can compete for Puerto Rico.
The black chick who thinks she's Rican😅
There are black Puerto Ricans..... Her mother is Puerto Rican, as in the woman that birth her.. lmao
I don't have the level of respect for her as I do for Harrison, Ali, or Dawn Nelson, or Castlin or Rollins. She decided to rep PR (which is part of the U.S. BTW) because their are no sure things when it comes to making U.S. Teams. Repping PR lets her skip nationals. You got a gold metal but you'll never get the love of a Team USA athlete. IJS
In sports, the ultimate clapback is also a fitting response to this "hater" comment: "scoreboard".
She doesn't need your respect. She earned everyone's respect when she beat the best at the Olympics. Facts are facts, whether you want to disregard them.
You are entitled to your opinion and to be wrong too.
Yea I've gone back and forth on this sorta thing. It's like Armando Duplantis, the pole vaulter. Dude is American in every way, born here trains here, etc... he just happens to rep her heritage country (also he got more money to do so)
Well if they make PR the 51st state then your argument will be null as she would then represent U.S, but until it's her choice based on the rules.
I can't be the only one noticing she's had rhinoplasty done...
What's that
SO WHAT !
