- The Samsung S21 series is finally released, and just as promised, we are here to compare the S21 camera against its main competitor, the iPhone 12. Galaxy S21 is the smallest and the cheapest variants within the S21 lineups, with the same camera specs as last year's S20. Which begs the question, how would it hold up against the world's favorite iPhone 12, and the result would totally surprise you.

To address the allegation made regarding the accusation that this video is fake.
1.Yes, the embargo has been lifted the day this phone was launched on the 15th of January and we are lucky enough to receive review units for every device.
2.We didn't reveal our faces because we want our audience to focus on the whole channel and what we do, not who we are.
3.We shoot every photo and footage on our own from real devices, if we took the footage from other channels we would get a copyright strike immediately. Also, you guys can check for image information to see the device taken on that particular photo.

@@markoa5 There are games on ios that have a 120hz option,at least for the ipad pro only.The screen is the only problem.But there are issues on galaxy smartphones or android smartphones in general.Lets take fortnite for example.The iphone 7 could run in at stable 30 fps.My previous phone (s10e) could not run it at a stable 30.And you can only guess why.Its not the processor,it is the optimization which will inevitably be better on ios since there are less ios phones.

The line "looks natural on iPhone" is getting too old. Clearly, the iPhone colors were oversaturated too. If Samsung's colors are your benchmark for "oversaturation", the iPhone was close enough.

Every time I see iPhone photos especially against the s21 or ultra I see yellow. Please with the iPhone looks natural. IPhone has become the galaxy S6 and the latest S series has become a little more pop than a iPhone S8 plus which is natural but not flat like the S8. Also these phones have just been released. There will be tons of software patches for the S series. But please...nothing natural about iPhone photos.

Honestly, I really like it when colours pop. They look great, but others think it isn't natural. Out of these two phones, I would go for iPhone for videos and Samsung in photos.
Personally, I feel like most people won't notice the difference all that much. However, showing the pics side by side does kinda make the Iphone pics look dull. Even though the colors on the s21 seem unnatural once in a while, it gives the image more depth which I personally like. I guess it all comes down to personal preference

I had an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I'm also a photographer for hobby. iPhones take great photos but at my eyes they seem a little fake and over processed. The night mode on iPhone it's yellow, there is a yellow cast all over the image that is pretty terrible. I think that in photo compartment iPhone it's loosing against competitors. Samsung photos are great, maybe a little saturated and warmer but at least they don't feel over processed

4K 60 FPS video recording of s21 lasts 10 mins whereas it is over 60 mins for Iphone :)
@ Why would you ever need to record an hours worth of 4k footage on your phone? Buy a camera at that point.

I, myself used to be a Apple user! I decided to change my phone to a Samsung Galaxy S21. I can tell you guys that the S21 has way more features in its camera than an iPhone does. You pay for what you get. Whereas, with an iPhone you barely get as many features with the camera. Its honestly a joke, you pay for something which doesn't give what you want. However, this doesn't mean iPhone is bad. its not. The iPhone camera can be amazing, however at times it isn't, it doesn't have as many features when it comes to photos. To summarise, Both Apple and Samsung phones are fantastic when it comes to photos. However, with an iPhone it looks fake and its very saturated. It also lacks camera features as mentioned above. To be honest with you, I'm happy with the S21 and I don't ever regret switching from Apple to Samsung. By far the S21 is the best purchase I have made! I get what I pay for and it has so many features to its camera in particular.

I feel like night mode looks more “Natural” on the samsung. Bokeh wasn’t really that different, kinda useful only for macro shots any way.

2. refresh rate

4. storage
5. multi tasking
6. always on display
7. price

When he said that s21 has a lot of noise because of oversharpening, my video quality dropped to 144p. I thought that it was the S21 poor camera.

For some photos. . . I don't think it's over sharpening but the AI fixes some portions of the photo to make it more detailed.

When we talk about embargo it has some Conditions involved. Companies generally don't allow thier devices camera to be compared with other devices in the embargo period. If the embargo is really over why big youtubers like @mkbhd @Mrwhosetheboss is not posting thier camera comparisons. And if you really want to deep dive in this you should see the video uploaded by @Mrwhosetheboss for identifying fake videos.

I disagree with most things you said about the camera:
the iPhone produces way more contrasty images and thus shadows get crushed more often and faces don't look as flat. Samsung is definitely on the flat side here.
The S21 isn't "extremely saturated" as you say, in certain pictures the colors are more saturated for sure but they're very comparable in most images in terms of color reproduction.
both phones have about the same brightness in night mode, the Galaxy definitely doesn't make it look like its day

this is the same results but GALAXY has lightened shadows and more HDR in lights....and for more , much more saturation and warm. Pictures are flat and without mood IMO
