Hey everyone, let me know if you like the screen recording of capturing the photos or if you feel it's not needed. I tried to show the experience of taking some shots, so you can see if the objects were moving, shutter speed, image processing times, etc. Thanks!
We're getting to a point where people won't really care about cameras anymore coz you can't go wrong with either the difference will be social media camera
Phone cameras have gotten so good its hard to pick a winner outright! Both have really comparable images and video. The S21 portrait video kinda surprised me it looked so crisp compared to the iphone. Main takeaway really is consumers don't need to worry much anymore about the difference in camera performance between android and ios since they're so close in quality now so its all about choosing an OS now. Prolly still an edge to the iphone in video quality though.
Very true, main differentiation manufacturers are going for now are low light/night mode, long range zoom and "cinematic" style video. If you don't need or want any of that, then you're good with phone cameras from up to 3 years back at least.
I like android operating system better than IOS. Can do much much more with android IMO but that depends on use case really. What you want from your phone determines what operating system you should go for. Agree with the cameras too. Sharp pics on both phones.
@@brandonhoffman6608 when you follow the tech scene for a while people should really realize no phone is perfect. In the end its always gonna be about what phone fits your use case and hardware/software preferences the best

As a PC user I’ve craved the personalisation, settings, look and feel of android. The last Galaxy I had was an S3. Since then I’ve been on iPhone and it’s been great but what I’ve noticed is with software updates my phone battery struggled and it wasn’t as responsive. I’ve now decided if Apple forced my hand to upgrade from my iPhone 11, I will go back to Samsung and be super excited about it.
Really tough to differentiate both. I'm just gonna say pick the one the suits you to your liking you'll really find a hard time finding out which camera is better. Really great review well done.
This guy out a lot of work into this video. Thank you. They are soooo close. Hate to say, I lean slightly to the S21 on photos. Video goes to the iphone. I have the 13 mini.
Super comparison !!! Big, big LIKE !!!! I think the iPhone has a lot of work to do to match Samsung's photo performance. At least the ultra-wide and sound part seems to be completely out of control on the iPhone 13, compared to the Samsung S21. On the other hand, I did not notice such a visible improvement even in the case of night photography. For now, this is the situation, maybe iPhone, with some software updates, will improve photo quality.
I love that you show us how the photo is being processed. We can see the magic happening lol Especially s21, from okay-ish photo to great. It's crazy it's like magic.
A thing that I really appreciate is the photographic styles in the iphone, the way that you can edit the processing of the colors is mad simple and effective, but with all the features that the s21 provides, I think the samsung is better value with the portrait modes and zoom lens, although the iphone is much better at video processing
Photos from the main rear cameras are already very good on most phones. What really differentiates the strength between these 2 phones are the ultrawide, front cameras and night time - all of which is more superior on the S21. Sure, we don't need 100 over megapixels, but a larger resolution camera does provide more raw data for the image processor to work with.

Super video! Very analytic, thorough and clarifying comparison. It could set the "standard" for this type of videos! Many thanks. The only test not taken is night mode with stable camera but moving object. Galaxy seems to be slightly better in many cases but NOT in night mode moving video where stabilizer does not respond at all for a decent presentable result (even motorola one action way-older gives me better results). So the test of, lets say a performer moving in front of a stable camera in night mode would be informative!

The video stabilisation was stronger on the iPhone 13, and the rear camera night-time videos were clearly better on the iPhone 13 - the S21 had a lot of noise. But surprisingly, overall, I think the S21 genuinely looked better. Some shots were a bit over-saturated, but no more than some from the iPhone 13. Turning off scene optimisation, if it wasn't already off, would help alleviate that. Because of the night-time video difference, I guess the iPhone 13 wins as an overall package...? (never owned an iPhone; only a Motorola and then Samsungs). But you really can't go wrong with either of them. I don't tend to take night-time videos anyway, and playing with the brightness slider may assist with the noise.
