I'd say it's worth it if you care. If you're only going to take the occasional photo with one or two ultrawide shots, the S21/S21+ are really great value.
Nah, still not worth it. I'd go after vanilla S21 since the camera quality / photos quality difference is negligible. Other problem with flagship Samsung devices - they don't hold the value at all. I can get S20 Ultra for less than $800, Note 10+ for less than $500, Note9 - for less than $300 in my country right now. So I'll never buy brand new Samsung flagship smartphone for that particular reason.

That was a great review video. I have the iPhone XS. I’m looking at getting the Samsara phone. I will use it a lot for space, planet, and moon photos. Which S21 do you think would be best for space photo’s?
Hi Danny, I had an iP12 Pro and now I bought a Galaxy S21 because my iP comes very limited in many ways. But what I would like to know is that Samsung has been deforming people's faces, but also entire characters, in the photos since the Galaxy S10 series. Don't you feel the same way? And the second thing, what camera settings do you take with? Wouldn't you like to make a separate video for it? Thanks for the reply.
I hope Samsung representatives will see my review and fix some annoying bugs in the phone's firmware! For 3 months of use, I have such comments or features to it The camera and phone software is still being finalized. I think another 1 or 2 months and everything will be good! On s20 it took them six months to finish almost everything in it In general, I am satisfied with the phone and recommend it for purchase. About the camera: During the day, photos and videos are just credits, in the evening there are some smears, you need to take a photo a couple of times. It happens that in the evening or in poor lighting in the room, a 64MP camera is sharper (without smears) will take a photo than the main camera. I hope that the main camera will be fixed with updates. I also noticed on my S21 that something "dangles" in the camera, it seems to be the camera lens. Although there is no such thing on the iPhone CE-2020 and 11 At first, the phone got very hot when any camera was working in it, even when the camera was just started and did not shoot anything - the phone was warming up. Now, when talking on Wi-Fi or through the mobile Internet in Telegram, after 15-20 minutes, the phone warms up to 39 degrees according to the indicators on the battery. With prolonged shooting of 4k video, the battery also warms up to 38-40 degrees In the game PUBG-mobile, with medium or high graphics settings, FPS can be set to a maximum of 40 frames (which is not enough for a comfortable game), and 60 FPS is given only at minimum settings ... What the hell is the top processor ??? !!! And it is impossible to choose the maximum or ultra graphics settings in the game. I do not know if these are software issues of Samsung, or the developers of the PUBG game themselves put their fat "bolt" on the optimization of Exynos processors Regarding the connection, I have no breaks or failures, but I noticed that the connection is a little worse than my OnePlus 6 with 845 Snapdragon. In a home or store where the OnePlus 6 showed a full scale of communication, the Samsung is one notch less. I also noticed when it got warmer on the street and move around the city or in the park, then the phone is constantly warm (the sensors on the battery show the temperature in the region of 30-34 degrees), if you just sit at home then the temperature of Akum is 25-28 degrees. Probably looking for a network and warming up because of this As for vibro, it is normal and pleasant. It is not clear just why the vibro of average quality was installed in the s21 for $ 850 (23,000 UAH), but in the s21 + and s21ultra they installed an analog of a taptik. Why is it so Samsung ?? !!! Sometimes there are microlags, not so often, but still. And so it works smartly. It is necessary to steadily reboot the phone once every 3-5 days, it starts to dull either in the camera, or when working in the gallery Proximity sensor on OnePlus 6 works much better than on s21 (sometimes it dulls or triggers with a delay) Battery: 3880mAh real capacity, not 4000mAh There is such a software glitch on the phone: when the phone is in a horizontal position (for example, in a telegram) and if you turn off the auto-rotate of the screen, then the phone does not return to portrait orientation (I will attach a screen) Sometimes it brings some inconvenience, on my OnePlus 6 this crap was not With auto brightness and 120Hz, the phone is enough for a day, sometimes you have to recharge during the day, if you actively use the camera or play hard games + sit on the mobile Internet, then somewhere it is enough for 2-2.5 hours of screen work. So, on average, 4.5 - 5 hours of screen per day from one charge of Akum (sometimes 6 hours of screen happens, but this is rare). If you enable 60Hz screen updates, off. different enhancers such as AOD, vibration feedback at every opportunity, or triggering a fingerprint when the screen is off, the phone will last 7-8 hours of the screen And what pisses me off about all the Samsung! So this is that when searching for a mobile number via T9 on the call keypad (by numbers), he does not look for numbers where there is Ukrainian in the name. the letter "i" ... PPC Even OnePlus has thought of this, but the Samsung has not been able to do it for many years. Since 2016, for sure. Then it infuriates the selection of text in TH-cam. What is this problem that they cannot solve even from the s20 line, that when selecting text, I then get a context menu on the FULL-SCREEN and nothing can be done afterwards, just select "copy or paste", and if I wanted to select more text or less to do, then you need to start all over again (I will attach a screen) The fingerprint scanner works worse (or not so fast) than the usual scanner in my OnePlus 6 on the back of the phone, this is especially noticeable when sometimes you need to quickly use the phone, otherwise in normal use everything is buzzing, just sometimes you need to press your finger harder against screen. But the fingerprint scanner works much better than in s10 and s20 (s20 and s10 have the same scanners)
It's a great phone, but has a few issues. 1080p 60 video will let you change lenses while recording, BUT the video comes out choppy with annoying stutters. Samsung needs to fix this. Also, how about HDR 10 plus footage at 60p?
The thing with your cameras comparisons is ,where you live there is always nice and sunny weather, so the photos are taken in sunny environment. Smartphones cameras behaving completely different in cloudy environment. For example you saying that iphone 12 photos taken by you are very saturated, but in cloudy environment iphone 12 photos are bland and dull. So for someone who lives in cloudy England or Ireland, camera results will be a different story.
Use ProRaw on the iPhone when it is dull as you can adjust post-production to get whatever look you prefer. Samsung has a pro camera app for this as well. Looks are very subjective but there is really no excuse now as Apple and Samsung can change everything on the phone or use a third-party app.
@@andyH_England my iphone 11 pro max is not pro enough to have proraw. Not a big fan of editing photos ,I like it nice straight out of the camera. Looks like samsung s21 ultra might be the one
Funny and good thing is with just 200 dollars more you get 10x lens, qhd display better main sensor etc on s21 ultra from s21 plus. With just 200 more. Thats a great value and one should consider it while choosing s21 plus or s21 ultra.

Except for the 10X zoom lens otherwise the S21 plus is my choice, not the regular 21 or the Ultra. The Ultra is very ugly usability wise, too thick, too heavy, uncomfortable, and quite unfriendly in one hand. I believe Samsung is aware of this and they will refine it next year. I'll wait for next year.

The 10x optical zoom is by far my favorite and I have been waiting for a phone to get better at this. I have always had situations where I wanted to zoom when taking pictures on my phone and now I have it. 30x is alright and would love to see a lens for that in the future. Also AT&T has this phone (256GB) around $200 with trading in my S10 (not S10+).
I have the S21 Ultra and noticed the worse ultra wide angle video at low light compared to S20. But when I changed to 1080p it was much better altough more noise. Is it possible to do a comparison with iphone 12 Pro and especially video and low light.
My shots during the day with plenty of natural light are phenomenal, but anything with lowlight looks pretty horrid, ive seen reviews say the opposite and pictures they've taken show the opposite, bit disappointed :(
do these still heat up when using the camera for around 3 mins? My s20 heats up and its giving me anxiety because i've never had these issues with other phones..
The difference really isnt that big. But for me, I would pick the S21Ultra, I think its a very nice phone with a very nice Camera. The Camera with its big main Sensor and all the little nice detalis, like super Macro or 10x Optical zoom

Hi, I have a little question...what do you think about the video? Is the S21 Ultra better? Or is it same? (while taking it on the main lens)
Excellent review, thank you !!!
Hi, since you used both S21 and Iphone 12, which one is better for daily usage + camera?
My opinion s21 ultra cuz of the big amount of features and efficiency
Great video, where do you buy your sneakers
I have the S21 Ultra and noticed the worse ultra wide angle video at low light compared to S20. But when I changed to 1080p it was much better altough more noise.
Is it possible to do a comparison with iphone 12 Pro and especially video and low light.
Why not focus on the regular S21?.. The lower megapixel sensor on the regular S21 is better for lowlight videos
Hi, does s21 have stabilization on the front camera?
I wish you showed more comparison shots with s21
Very weird we can't switch lens while recording at 4K60fps. Is iphone 12 able to do it ?
Does the ultra wide camera support 60 fps on video's recording?
So i will take some portrait photos of my family…than the duck appears! Boom 😅😅😅
Can u pls tell the camera u used for this video??
Hi which is better in Samsung Note20 ultra or S21 ultra in exynos version please let me know thank you
My shots during the day with plenty of natural light are phenomenal, but anything with lowlight looks pretty horrid, ive seen reviews say the opposite and pictures they've taken show the opposite, bit disappointed :(
Did you try using Night mode?
I've been using a 12 recently just because my S10+ screen got broken, is it worth it on upgrading my 12 to an S21 Ultra?
Iphone 12? Or
Would you say the S21 Ultra is better for concerts then? Since the darker modes are better?
Hopefully because the 21 plus sucks at it
do these still heat up when using the camera for around 3 mins? My s20 heats up and its giving me anxiety because i've never had these issues with other phones..
Samsung have come a long way with S21 Ultra but the real test is to put against the mighty Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ especially comparing night photos.
Is there a big difference in video recording?
Thank you! Can anyone tell me how the quality is with the 21 Ultra and the 21+ when taking concert pics?
What is the clear case ur using on the ultra?
Whats camera is better in Samsung s21 ultra with exynos or s21 ultra With qualcomm
Awesome review....Keep it up!
Can the 3x camera usage for portraits be input into a software update or its now for another phone
It can be fixed in a software update if Samsung chooses to.
Nice! Great phones & great review!
Amazing video as always
The difference really isnt that big. But for me, I would pick the S21Ultra, I think its a very nice phone with a very nice Camera. The Camera with its big main Sensor and all the little nice detalis, like super Macro or 10x Optical zoom
Someone give me some advice. I only want to shoot product photos in a small box studio with lighting. Which is better s21 or s21 ultra for product photos
Coming from the S10+ would the S21+ would make a huge difference camera wise?
It does. Came from S10+ as well. Guess if you want a 'real' upgrade, go for Ultra. :)
Just a balanced review btwn hyped and practical aspect
In yours Samsung reviews you use Scene Optimizer on or off, and hdr?
Which configuration, for you, delivered the best results.
Thanks
I wonder why only 4k videos from you on TH-cam freeze on my TV... :/
Reviewers have not mention the S20s from last year, any of those is a better option than the S21
Very nice and informative. Nice TShirt. Love to know the source
Ha great video and you even added the bit about portrait mode using the main instead of the wide which shows you did check. I’m still going to wait to see what Apple can pull out this fall but the Ultra is the most versatile shooter we have in the States hands down. Plus it should be even better quality this fall as Samsung continues to push out updates. Nice!
I phone 12 pro max vs Galaxy s21 camera comparison plz
He already made one
You have the best Camera comparison
Hi man, So i have a problem. i have smart lights in our home and my family does not want to only use voice commands through our google home, and go ahead push the toggle switch which kills the power to the smart light. now i am not able to find any switch that does not need a hub to work. And also i live in India so it has to available in india as well. plz help
Not using the 3x lens for the portraits is still strange. Weird but oh well
Can someone answer do we can change bitrate of 4k 60 video with s21 ultra, because it shoots 4k 60 fps only in 38 mbps, which is low. Does anyone have tried to take video with Filmic pro with higher bitrate, or G-cam ?
I personally don't like how does it look in 38 mbps, I think it is worse than older devices of Samsung. Please answer.
Can you do a video with the most recent update....late April 2021?
Finally someone did this.. thanks
Just Loving It.... ❤️
Sorry but ugliest camera design of s21 ultra. S21 has good camera design.
Iphone is always at the top when it comes to premium
REal video starts @ 6:35 guys, you are welcome
Lake Eola! I live here 😊 In the Metropolitan. Lake Eola Park is well maintained and great for families
Does anyone else's Galaxy S21 Ultra overheat ridiculously when using the camera? Not sure if it's a just my phone problem or if it is happening with other people's S21
