- In this video we head to the Victorian Hight Country to test the comfort of the 23zero Saber RTT on the @SignatureCamperTrailers Deluxe 2. This is a fantastic camper and very capable of attacking the gnarly tracks in the Victorian High Country.
Another Great Episode. Your camping set-up is getting better all the time. I'm 72 and vote for the 12-volt electric blanket. Game changer.
Thanks mate, I appreciate it.
like a graceful gazelle jumping up in there
You know it!
Great information video, I have the Darche RTT and would never go back to a tent or swag. I nearly bought the Zero as nearly identical. I always have the perfect sleep. I honestly can’t think of a negative. Setup/pack up in less than 2mins. 🤟🤟🇦🇺🇦🇺
Im certainly a convert. Never thought I would, but now wouldnt go without.
Rule number 1 for project management. Don’t believe the saying “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”, just means that you’re not looking hard enough. I went to the Simpson desert near 2 years ago and t[he drop in temperature at night caught me by surprise. I knew it was going to be cold but learnt my lesson. Heading out with eldest son and will be taking 2 of this kickass blankets. Makes life a little easier. By the way…. How good are those sauces and mustards that you put us onto….. Mike
Too true mate. And those sauces, awesome
You’re in a beautiful area, my neck of the woods. I grew up there.
Mate, I’m 60 years old , do a lot of snow camping and still using a swag.
Dude you’re gonna lose me, you’re friggin soft! 😂
My biggest hate 12 V electric blankets , induction cooktops, espresso machines, ect, get out in the wild and enjoy.
keeping it simple is true camping.
Having said this lovely program, mate❤
HAHAHA. Bloody legend. Cant say Ive ever hated 12v electric blankets, I actually didnt know they existed until a couple months ago.
@@Haveacrack76 keep doing what you’re doing , you’re on a winner,
Your mannerism is similar to fire to fork guy, 🤔
@@lucamancini3147 Thanks mate
I am always surprised when people say about handbrakes on 70 series.
Honestly, mine since day one has always been fine. To the point I was confident to use the handbrake on the odd slope when stopping. The key is to ensure the handbrake is correctly adjusted every 5000K or when the travel on the handbrake is getting excessive.
Mine was a 2020 76 series but I doubt there was any mods done to improve the same. The issue is the use of cable on a disk break assembly. Reach the bastard on hard and adjust the cable stretch every 5000K.
Just my experience. But I have seen handbrake issues on many 70 series due to lack of maintaining the adjustment.
Interesting mate. Every 5k. Worth a look. Do you not have the 76 anymore?
@@Haveacrack76nah. Sold it about a week ago. Health and life style reasons. New DMax on the way. Time to retire from prospecting and travel to fish and enjoy the WA coast and life 😊
@@TheOldFellasTravels Fair game mate. Dmax sounds good
Off topic , I like your bloody hat , where did ya get it and what coin did you spend ? Like your content very informative
Its an Acubra Tablelands hat. Cant remember what I paid for it, its a few years old.
Honestly, I'm with you they need to stop. Because if we don't, they will close it down. We can already see and hear places shutting some short-term and other, maybe for good.
There are so many other tracks up there to do that on. I just dont get it.
@Haveacrack76 I'm in Queensland, and like you said, I can't believe you can not find tracks that have difficulty levels you'd like to do. I'm in a great area where you can do a day trip from bush to beach or vice versa depending on tide.
@@gavinramsay539 I suspect it happens all over the country
You are not getting soft but old, like the rest of us.
HAHA yep
