Mate, she’s a keeper , I’d do whatever it takes to make her comfortable when camping .. good on you for getting out and enjoying the experience… I like my comfort as well and have a 12v blanket … great vid, good setup .. enjoy
She gets to stay! I think you've just been replaced mate ;-) Two tips; 1.Awning pole tie downs. Tie your line directly to the awning (without spring) and run the line about 1/3 the way down the pole, put a half hitch around the pole, then stake it out. It's an old riggers trick. It keeps the pull on the awining and pole absolutely straight down and makes the line to the ground much shorter (less to trip over). Give it a try and you'll see what I mean. 2. I had a McHitch on my camper trailer and liked it. But McHitch is no longer in business due to some quality control issues. I replaced my hitch with the Hitch-Ezy and would never go back. I could not believe how much easier/better it is. Especially trying to hook up at odd angles! I'm sure the DO35 would be just as good. Great vid and can't wait to show it to my misses. She will love the marine carpeting/velco box trick!
HAHA thanks! Awning poles. Ripper idea! I will be trying that. I few people have mentioned the Mchitch failing and quality control. But nobody seems to be able to tell me more. I cant find anything online about any failures, at least not the model I have. I can see they went out of business when many other businesses were closing due to the way we handled COVID. Ill check out the Hitch Ezy for sure. But Im not sure I need to do anything yet.
Great to see your missus getting involved 👍
Us too!
Kudos to the spouse. Well presented.
Thanks mate

Shane might be a bit late, but happy birthday anyway. It's good to see the boss also wants to camp with you. Thanks for the tour of the camper.
Hey Thanks Ed!
Enjoyed the video. Nice trailer but surprised so heavy for a small unit
Thanks mate. I think its just over 1000kg tare. With the tent, awning, loaded and full of water, its about 1400.
Happy Birthday old boy. What an awesome rundown on your camp setup, your misses could be a presenter.
Thanks mate. She enjoys it for sure
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
