Marcy herself has a decent amount of frog iconography around her. I really like your analysis of it representing metamorphosis and accepting change.
I personally disagree that Jermaine doesn't have any hangups I mean I interpreted that line as he feels left out constantly by Jake and Finn he wants to be a part of their lives but they constantly seem to forget he exists and he realizes that and that's one of his biggest issues, he kinda has the opposite problem of Betty she can't let go of Simon but he can't even become part of their lives
I think he has accepted that he doesn’t have to do what his dad or Finn and jake want to do. He’s his own person who loves his brothers but independent!
Finn never seems to care about his hair, I guess because he prefers wearing the bear hat. But I think he looks better without it, especially when he lets his hair grow out.
In my opinion, the frogs in the pond represent grief and/or sorrow. Betty expressed guilt over not being able to save Simon, while Finn expresses Guilt over Fern. This scene is actually really powerful when you think about it. For over a month, Finn was beating himself up over accidentally killing Fern, which was both his friend and himself. He couldn't even bring himself to kill monsters, which showed how messed up he was from it. Remember Finn's quote the episode 'The Enchiridion!'? "I'll slay anything that's evil, that's my deal!" If Finn can't even do that, then he's in a very bad state of mind. ...And yet, Betty's grief and sorrow, represented by the frogs, overshadow Finn's immense guilt one hundred fold. It shows how much Betty is obsessed with saving Simon, and I can't help but feel bad for her.
I worry that the writers wrote themselves into a corner with this ending. One of two things can now happen: Betty's plan succeeds and the show will undercut its own meaningful message of coping with loss. Or Betty's plan will fail and she will be forced to accept her loss, which will just be a repetition of Temple of Mars and therefore no longer as profound a conclusion. themarquess the second option does help to prove a point that sometimes it takes a few metaphorical slaps in the face before someone gets it. It would kinda undercut and be a rehash of Temple of Mars BUT it would make her seem more human than ever.
I don't think having Betty succeed would undercut the message of coping with loss, I think the message of this episode is that you need to find a balance between not giving up and giving up. Betty passed the final trial because she knew that letting Simon go would save her past self of the pain and madness she went through; she was able to analyse the situation and decided that in this scenario giving up would be the best option. Even still, seeing Finns determination inspired her, I think she was able to understand that not giving up doesn't have to be a bad or obsessive thing. Betty's issue was her obsessiveness causing her to do outrageous things that harmed others and even the one she loved, but as long as she doesn't revert to that obsessiveness, I don't think there is an issue with her saving Simon. Or even if she fails, we could finally see her accepting that he's truly gone and showing that her obsessive nature didn't take over.
Honestly, coming from someone who’s been able to look at the correct choice and subsequently make the wrong choice, I think it would still be meaningful should she fail. It goes to show how hard headed people can be and how easy it is to fixate when you’ve lost your sense of self.
I think the direction they'll go with it is having Betty's final plan go so overboard that it nearly causes some extreme catastrophe on a cosmic level. I think to have it go to such a severe length will break her down in some way.
The blackboard has a bunch of Magic the Gathering terms, so that's fun. Regarding the temple, I don't think the characters "got" the message at all; I think the idea of the whole test is that sometimes you have to let go, move on and just ignore some things (hence, don't look at the frog). The interesting thing about these, though, is that the characters totally did it wrong and learned the wrong lessons. You were supposed to ignore the frogs, they aggro'd them all and just forced their way through with physical prowess (speed). Then, they were supposed to smash the unsolvable equation rather than be consumed by it, but rather than accept that it was unsolvable they accidentally broke through whilst trying to remove obstacles in the way of solving it (Finn climbing after the Ice Thing). In the third challenge, Betty was supposed to realize that she'd be happier if she took care of herself but instead she takes care of someone else (past-her) with the mindset of "eh, maybe I'd have been happier if I'd never met Simon but I did and that's who I am now. So I can rescue past me but now-me really needs to double down and apply the lessons from the last two lessons." Its a really clever subversion of the "trials-that-actually-teach-you-about-yourself" trope.
I feel that Betty and Normal Man are gonna find a way to get what they want, but accidentally releasing GOLB in the process. Then GOLB interrupts the Gum War, then Betty uses what she learned to save Simon, then Simon is gonna help find a way to stop GOLB. Also, are you gonna do a analysis on the series finale trailer?
I don't think of King Man as a mischievous person anymore, he went from a mysterious bad person to a mysterious good person. Also, doesn't he feel more scientific than magic now?
Magic Man's journey is by far one of my favorites throughout the show. He developed so much, but at the same time he seems to not have changed all that much. He's a great character, and i really, REALLY hope he can have his happy ending. Betty was great in this episode as well, but as long as i like her, i fear for her, and consequently, for the Ice King. I was looking up at the fandom's opinions for how they want them to end, and 90% seems to want her to "fix" the Ice King and be together. But honestly, what is there to fix on him? People seem to not understand yet that the Ice King and Simon, they're two different people! If the Ice King stays as the Ice King, the Simon Betty is trying to bring back will never return, therefore she doesn't get to have her happy ending. But if she does "fix" him, and bring Simon back, we lose the Ice King forever. And none of us want that to happen. But it's the only possibility i find it mostly likely to be happening, to be honest.
Honestly, I don't want Ice King to be "Simon" again. She can't even save hersef, how she's even gonna to "save" Simon? Also, at this point of the series, I like Ice King much more, just see how good he was in Blenanas. I'm kinda starting to get tired of that "I hope Simon got cured" shit. In my personal opinion, she would be way happier with Normal Man.
You're right, the Ice King and Simon are two different people. However my argument is that Simon is the original, his mind was altered which is the only reason as to why the Ice King is able to exist. The Ice King is a cool guy (no pun intended) but does he have the moral right to take over Simons body, especially when there are still people that love and care about Simon? It doesn't seem fair that Simon should have to give up his mind for another person. The Ice Crown is essentially a mental illness that makes the user forget their past life and forces you to behave in a certain way, and just because the symptoms of that illness makes you into a pretty likeable guy, doesn't mean it shouldn't be cured.
I think the best thing to be done is to have the crown/ice king to be altered in some form to prevent ice king from getting worse, without "killing" him
The Ice King had no choice but to be. Simon's decision made him. It was a decision and I think Ice King has every right in the world to be himself. I like ETHAN Franco comment ^ Separating them would be the perfect solution in my opinion and fulfilling ending for both characters :)
I think that "King" Man and Magic Betty are very similar characters. Magic Man was inflicted with magic, madness and sadness, but was able to escape the torture and become a good individual. Betty was once a good individual, but has now descended into madness. They're both still fixed on a loved one from their past, and our constantly scheming ways to get them back. This is just an observation.
I think the awful state of Finn's hair might actually be a reflection of how bad he's had it emotionally while Jake is gone- a common issue when dealing with grief/sadness/depression can be an inability to maintain proper hygiene in some aspects, hence the lice infestation. Sometimes it's difficult to take care of yourself under emotional distress, even if you're staying calm. Sometimes especially then. That, and we already know barbershop therapy is a ritual of theirs.
Due to some messed up episode ordering on CN's part, I wound up seeing Temple of Mars before Jake the Starchild. However, I think this sort of improved my experience, as hearing about Jake running out of Birthday cake and cocktail hotdogs was pretty funny without context.
On the chalk board there are references to some of the different Magic: The Gathering Color combinations (Jund, Esper, Jeskai, etc.) but using numbers in place of some of the letters to make them appear as though they should be part of a math equation. Beyond that, I don't know any other Easter eggs.
I think the ice thing symbolizes betys view of ice king. He messes with her plans because he is a real person who can make his own choices. She feels like she can fix everything with a plan but there is nothing to fix.
You are the perfect man to do commentary and analysis for this show. A big part of the series is how genuine and real human emotions are expressed, and the way you share your thoughts and feelings on the show are just as genuine and real. Thank you for doing what you love!!
The portal to betty's past self is a reference to betty's plans in the elements miniseries to build a portal to simon's past and change it. In the temple, she learned she has to change her own past
This episode has one of my favorite easter eggs which is in the math challenge many of the variables are written either directly as or very closely to the three color shards and wedges in Magic the Gathering e.g. grixis, naya sultai jund, etc. I have always loved adventure time, and knowing there are magic nerds in the animation staff makes me love it even more.
I think Betty's character arc will end with Golb erasing Betty from existence when she disturbs him with her attempts of rescuing Simon/Margles. Not only will it show off how supremely powerful Golb is, but it'll show a tragic end for someone who was too determined for her own good...
Wranobble Kong Jr. Double Trouble More like she became glob. Her wish was to have the power to protect Simon, and the only way to defeat a threat that big was to literally become it.
One thing I think it might be interesting: the ice surface they were in had the shape of a scorpion tail, maybe in reference to the fact that the planet mars is usually linked with the scorpio sign. Anyway, great review as always!
In advanced mathematics, the question mark represents Minkowskis function which has various fractal property's but I doubt this question has any cohesiveness anyway.
This one is probably my second favorite of the bunch. It was a mostly Betty-centric episode, but seeing Jermaine was also a nice addition because he rarely shows up even though he is the other sibling of Finn and Jake. The episode introduced some fascinating implications with the mind illusions in the temple, particularly the Ice Thing and what it could mean for Simon's fate. Also, we finally got some set up for Golb, which is good. Interestingly enough, Normal Man, now king Man, seems to have retained some of Magic Man's bad personality traits unfortunately. I guess old habits die hard, but this is to be expected. Just because Magic Man transferred his magic and insanity to Betty doesn't mean that he's suddenly going to be a completely different person with absolutely no remnants of his old self. His MMS may be gone, but what drove him to his MMS in the first place is still there, which is his grief towards the loss of Margles. I don't really have much else to say about this episode that hasn't already been said by other people.
SylenDraws Finn's wish failed because A. He was rewriting history (as you would be here) and that leads into because B. Prismo explained, there's always a caveat when granting wishes, or "a monkey paw" to quote Prismo himself. If they use him to wish Simon free, what horrible consequences might it have?
Why would you need to rewrite histor? In the episode Betty we see that simply canceling or emptying the crowns magic returned Simon to how he was before the crowns made him go mad.
I feel like if Simon were in Betty's shoes, he would have had a similar experience. Ice king aside Simon's entire character arc is focused on his relationship with Betty. Of course I am excluding Marcelline because I would put her past with Simon into Marcelline's character arc. In "Betty" and "Broke His Crown" The two episodes where we see Simon in the present, he is dead set on Betty, ignoring everything else. If we do see Simon and Betty in the four part finale, which is fairly likely to happen, it may be both of them moving on from eachother.
I'd just like to point out that Fin's reaction to Jake being in space is even better when you remember Jake's croak dream takes place in space. Finn is most likely worried that could be when it comes true.
I think the lesson isn't that you should move on. It's more so about the dichotomy between trying harder and giving up/moving on. Betty was inspired by how relentless Finn was in the mind maze in pursuit of saving Jake. That was the first thing she saw in there, not the hypothetical lessons about moving on. She saw that strong relentless action produces results, not giving up on something. So while the meaning of the maze and perhaps the episode is partially about acceptance and moving on, the episode has a double meaning between these two approaches.
When she says: "I came up with the plan" there's a pink star on top of her finger, which might suggest that Betty's plan has something to do with PB and she will interfere in the gum war just like Ice King will and she might be able to get Simon back.
Maybe it is a random thing. However, it made no sense to show any pink star at all and Ice King has been obsessed with PB... but off course we have to wait and see what happens
Giorgi Nemsitsveridze Idk, Ice king has been pretty alright these past few seasons. As for the star, again, it means nothing. If it implies anything it's that she'll be using magic for her plans
Always love hearing your reviews and analysis of Adventure Time. I'm sure i, like many will be sad when this series comes to and end, but it was a fun ride while it lasted. :)
I feel that in the final episode, half of it will be the gumwar and the next half would be a fight with GOLB. The way I think it'll transition is that PB wins the war, everyone thinks everything is fine until Finn sees Jake acting weird and that Jake isn't there. He was some sort of hallucination by GOLB and that GOLB captured Jake from the unknown planet.
I think there are two ways to end the Ice King arc on a note that will make the most of sense. 1. The Ice King returns to Simon, but along with that, he dies, alone or along with Betty. 2. Betty or Golb will be able to split The Ice King in both Simon and The Ice King. That way the existance of Ice King as a person will still be fully acknowledged.
10:59 At the bottom right of the board the word “sorry” can be seen which I think is Ice King, or rather Simon, apologizing to Betty for letting the Ice Crown corrupt him. oh yeah also ice thong is gunter 1,000 years in the future also the gem missing fell onto a donut and became an engagement ring
I was today years old when I realised that the person who plays as Jermaine (if that's how you spell his name sorry if I misspelled it) also plays Greg Universe from SU.
I liked this episode quite a bit, and it was nice to get some foreshadowing for GOLB before his inevitable appearance in the finale. At this point, I have no idea how Ice King and Betty's story will turn out, but it looks like it will be one of the major focal points of the finale. I'm really interested to see how they manage to tie them and GOLB in with the Great Gum War.
What if Simon dies at some point and Crown transforms into the Ice Thing trough "Sorrow?" Idk The Crown has been shown to have it's own conscience in "Finn The Human"
[REDACTED] That’s a good idea. Maybe, with the crowns development and the fact that it has been with Simon for centuries, the Ice King’s death may cause the crown to go into grieving, but instead of causing a new ice age, it instead takes a form similar to the Ice King? I have another theory, though. What if Betty meddling with GOLB causes GOLB to try to enter Ooo? He may need a vessel, alike the Lich, and thus uses Ice King, but buffs him up so he is more ‘suitable’? When they inevitably rid him from the Ice Kings body, Ice King may already be so far gone that he is stuck like that forever, losing what remains of his sanity? Idk though that may be *very* inaccurate as to what is going to happen
I got the feeling that the math section of the temple was allegorical to the gordian knot. It doesn't matter how it's solved, just cut it and be done. Maybe the ice crown gets destroyed.
Hold on, I just had a thought. What if that Ice Thing is what is source of Ice King's madness. Maybe it wasn't just a metaphorical cause of change but also a literal one. It's definitely linked to the ice crown since this they're both missing the same gem. We know it's a real physical thing as well, since it was seen to be in Ooo in "1000+ Graybles." So why else would it appear in the trial unless it was related specifically to being what changes the Simon and other users of the Ice Crown. My thought is that Evergreen created this curse right before he died to be linked to the Ice Crown, as a way of deterring people from using the crown. That's probably why nothing Betty was doing was working since she wasn't stopping the source of the madness. The only thing I'm not sure about is why it was chasing the gem in 1000+ Graybles and why the gem was even avoiding it in the first place.
I commented this before but i think you didn't notice: Someone called FinnHDA is stealing content from youtubers including you, I hate seeing him doing that, his mother language is spanish but he speaks english also (I'm a spanish speaker too, that's why I recognized that he copying your videos)
'T.O.M.' was a great episode! But I say that it's going to end in a tragic for Betty, Simon, KingMan(Magic Man), and Margles! The madness and sadness, will be staying with the both of them all -- forever!!!
remember the episode that followed lemon hope. when he was in the future? one thing i noticed. that others have noticed. is the ship that has a g. for gumbald. well that and the candy kingdom was destroyed... well considering what the last episode of this batch was leading up to... things dont look good...
I’m really not over the fact that there’s only one mega episode left of this show. I grew up with this story. It’s my comfort place. No matter how bad I’m feeling Adventure Time gets me grounded. And I’m happy that it’ll always be there, but it feels strange that it’ll be finite soon
Also I’m happy there’s been more Jermaine this season because he’s one of my favorite, underfocused characters in the entire show. Jermaine is the perfect counter to Finn and Jakes wackiness and I’m happy he was always around to keep them in perspective
Ranting a bit, but I can’t help it. In a weird way I’m glad that Adventure Time is ending in a good light instead of running forever like the simpsons, but I’m not ready for it to be over. I don’t know, it’s an emotional time for me.
I know it's abit late to write a comment, but here goes: There is also another symbolism that could have been the inspiration for the frog room - in Jewish tale of Egypt there were the ten curses that god placed on the pheroh, the second curse being the rain of frogs. The curses were placed on the pheroh everytime he 'toughened his heart' and didn't let the sons of juda go, hence the reason for the connection.
I love how much character development Ice King has gone through throughout the show and that now in the 10th season we don't think of him as an evil villain anymore, now we think of him as a fully fleshed character. But something that confuses me is why does that crown creature have Ice Kings voice and why is one of its gems missing. Maybe its the Ice King separated from Simon and maybe in the finale Simon will be separated from the crown or Simon will just eventually become that creature.
I think magic man made the tests for betty and just used some other technology to get jake He wasn't surprised when betty came up with a plan to save simon because of finn but he was surprised that she wanted to get margles back too
I bet the Martian machine (doubt I could spell the actual name) was pulling double duty. It was analyzing Jermine and Finn's mind data to bring Jake back. While helping Betty with her personal journey. Although I have a feeling King Man actually programmed the Machine to make Betty centric challenges as evidenced by his assumption Betty learned an intended lesson. Finn.... um... he played Spirit Guide for Betty.
Filling the hole with sand one grain at a time is a great way to meditate for people whom have a hard time doing nothing. And eventually, without really noticing, a difference is made. Adventure Time likes to reference songs for their deeper points and this reminded me greatly of the Beatles song "Fixing a Hole". Not exact, but something I thought worth mentioning.
Spoilers for final if you somehow haven’t watched it yet I just realized something about this episode like a 2 years after the final Finn solves the puzzle by mistake when trying to solve it in a different way just like when Betty solves the ice kings crown by turning herself into Betty which she didn’t intend on doing which is cool to think about
Who plays Germains character? (Sounds like the same actor as Greg Demayo Universe) whoever it is, it feels like they play such loving, caring, and supportive characters. I love it. These are some of my favorite side characters tbh. ♥️
The seems to be written "Sad" on the math equasion. And also "Jska1. 5u1ta1", that I think represents something. Oh, and "5orry" on the down right corner.
And now we find perhaps the entire reasoning behind Jermaine's name: It was all a setup to this one joke -- Ger-man. Bringing us right back to all the German references in this show, and, more recently, to the ideas brought out by Bubblegum's book. (See other Uncivilized Elk video for more info.)
For the math challenge, there are Magic: the Gatherering color combinations hidden in the black board. (esper, boros, naya, jund, mardu, bant, and jeskai)! Edit: Sultai, Temur, and Abzan too
I honestly would rather have Ice King just **as** Ice King until the series end, if you have ever seen how much he developed. Also, I bet Betty will stay with Normal Man / King-man in the end of the series.
12:16 do you think that it may indicates that the crown, or at least the magic of the crown will have to be literally broken in order to retrieve simon?
11:06 i dont think that's actually multiplication by 0, it seems like a hexidecimal value in the common form of 0xN, where n is the number. this is backed up by the fact that we see 0x4f and 0x5e, neither of which make sense in decimal but are valid hexidecimal values. for example, the 0x43 would be equal to 51
@@ahptn 0x43 = 0x40 + 0x3 0x40 = 16 * 4 = 48 0x3 = 1 * 3 = 3 48 + 3 = 51 keep in mind my first sentence, the "0x" doesnt mean "multiply by 0" it means "the following number is in hexidecimal"
I prey that in the great gun war episodes it shows uncle gumbald beating princess bubblegum with technology, the he would say something along the lines of " there is nothing you can do that I can't do better" and then princess bubblegum gets angry and shoots a mint soda explosion right at his face and defeats him, that would be a great ending for her character arc, embracing her powers instead of hiding them.
(Sorry for the wall of text.) Betty changed a zero to an eight. In numerology "8" is the number of power, while "0" is a rarity at all and an impossibility for a base. Meaning that while we would think of it as nothing, that's actually not possible, and is in fact one of the few intensifiers. Physically, the numerals look similar, making their only difference being a metaphysical squeeze. And also another egg.
The first line of the equation is written in hexadecimal. 0x43 represents the number 67. So it actually reads "67/69/79/94(127/181)?...". Weirdly, it looks a lot like an IP address with a subnet mask.
You missed the best joke in the episode "I am Ger-man"
Jer-man *
yeah I totally meant that umm auto correct not my fault
He is definitely German my king
Meh. Its funny cuz hes a dog...
Ger-man shepherd. Ayyyy

What if the finale requires Finn's hair to be beautiful again?
What are the heroes going to do?
They go back to that witch and steal back hos hair
Jonny P lol
It didn't but Huntress Wizard liked his hair.
Finn never seems to care about his hair, I guess because he prefers wearing the bear hat. But I think he looks better without it, especially when he lets his hair grow out.
Bubblegum: "Finn doesn't have any hair?"
Bubblegum: "Or... DOES he?"
What if Tiny Manticore is the original owner of Magic/Normal Man's house?
That's a good point. Although, that seens to be a pre-war house. But your point is still valid.
I think that's possible
NAY, KING MAN
Hmm, if he's just a small manticore by nature, did magic man just put him in a jar, no magic required?
@@CrimsonNeo What if it was neither but tiny manticore was the first one before magic man to take residence of the house

Ditto on hoping they found an interesting and clever path.

I think the best thing to be done is to have the crown/ice king to be altered in some form to prevent ice king from getting worse, without "killing" him
Mayhaps there is a way to separate the two
The Ice King had no choice but to be.
That's why I think they should "hang out" more starting with saving halves of their pear.
Yeah, same. I thought that was the actual episode order and I thought it was supposed to be like going back to see what happened
Among all Adventure times theory and explained youtubers’s video you are the best at explaining. It’s very down to earth and on point perspective
On the chalk board there are references to some of the different Magic: The Gathering Color combinations (Jund, Esper, Jeskai, etc.) but using numbers in place of some of the letters to make them appear as though they should be part of a math equation. Beyond that, I don't know any other Easter eggs.
jund
Ble
And the 0x00 is hexadecimal. Not 0 times 0
Okay, I’m not the only one seeing it
It also says sorry
Wow good take hence why she's changed it Today
Yeah that did happen in the finale but Betty did this on purpose because it was the only way to save Simon.
Oh yea spoilers I guess
@@danielthedegenerate Well that was rude
@@hallmarkcats cry me a river, the finale was almost a year ago :P
@@danielthedegenerate i thought she MERGED with golb
Wranobble Kong Jr. Double Trouble More like she became glob. Her wish was to have the power to protect Simon, and the only way to defeat a threat that big was to literally become it.
One thing I think it might be interesting: the ice surface they were in had the shape of a scorpion tail, maybe in reference to the fact that the planet mars is usually linked with the scorpio sign. Anyway, great review as always!
For the math challenge, 0x43 is hexadecimal for the number 67 in traditional decimal format. Not 0 times 43.
Ah, my bad, there's a bunch of hexadecimals in there then. Although the whole thing is probs still the math equivalent of gibberish.
2+2 is still a better math problem...
In advanced mathematics, the question mark represents Minkowskis function which has various fractal property's but I doubt this question has any cohesiveness anyway.
Seems like that math equation = 0 (nothing, nada)!
Which if it means nothing is why the answer was to simply get rid of the question. Which Fin did by destroying the question.
when Kingman metioned the word empathy I could't help myself to sing "empathy, empathy, put yourself in the place of me!"
The most tragic part is that in the end, Betty literally gave up everything for Simon. Becoming GOLB to save him.
She said she was happy though
No matter how the ending might be. I am glad to witness the end.
Why dont they just use Prismo to cure Ice King I would assume that his wish magic is more powerful than the crown's?
SylenDraws
Look how well that worked out when Finn tried that with the Lich
Finn's wish failed because it was poorly executed and because he lacked an understanding about the lich's nature and his actions throughout history.
SylenDraws
Finn's wish failed because A.
SylenDraws
Okay, so say you don't have to rewrite history, you still don't know what change might occur as a result of your wish.
Have you seen Fionna and Cake?
I like this interpretation.
Wish we got more of Jermaine in the overall series. I liked that guy.
My original thought for the equation was that the numbers changing back represented how you can not change fate or something similar to that.
When she says: "I came up with the plan" there's a pink star on top of her finger, which might suggest that Betty's plan has something to do with PB and she will interfere in the gum war just like Ice King will and she might be able to get Simon back.
Giorgi Nemsitsveridze That's just the colour of her magic. She used the same on what she canged the past in this episode
That one Martian spraying stuff up margles skirt though 😂
I cracked up when you said 'there's even a straight up question mark thrown in there'
15:41 King Man points at his old hat lmao
I enjoy your analysis videos soooo much. Taking the time to observe little by little the story and the scenes, wow. Thank you!
He was some sort of hallucination by GOLB and that GOLB captured Jake from the unknown planet.
that spray cleaning of that statues junk always gives a giggle - dunno why its funny but it is
3:13 we just ignoring the fact that one of the workers is spritzing the Margles statue right in the Gooch xD
Or Betty becomes golb to save simon from the curse of the crown

At the bottom right of the board the word “sorry” can be seen which I think is Ice King, or rather Simon, apologizing to Betty for letting the Ice Crown corrupt him.

Omg I just realized that Jermaine's voice actor is also the voice actor of Greg Universe in SU
Wow, this video is long 18 minutes? Felt like four to me. Great as always
I'm really interested to see how they manage to tie them and GOLB in with the Great Gum War.
imagine entering a temple with two other people and the temple still decides you are the most fucked up one
At least we know that the Ice Thing isn’t Simon now...
how?
Bangbabangbabangbang That’s a fairly good point. God, now I think Betty’s plan may have something to do with it...
Sloth Overlord I didn't think it was Simon I thought it was the crown making its own body
NO ITS GUNTER!

Can we talk about the fact that Normie is wearing Lincoln's hat?
I know it's abit late to write a comment, but here goes:
There is also another symbolism that could have been the inspiration for the frog room - in Jewish tale of Egypt there were the ten curses that god placed on the pheroh, the second curse being the rain of frogs.
I think that Ice Thing is Gunter because I come from the future where the finale is out.

12:10 Betty is at a standstill combating the crown.
Betty : "Not if I become the Unfathomable Embodiment of Pure Chaos!"
Spoilers for final if you somehow haven’t watched it yet
I just realized something about this episode like a 2 years after the final
Finn solves the puzzle by mistake when trying to solve it in a different way just like when Betty solves the ice kings crown by turning herself into Betty which she didn’t intend on doing which is cool to think about
I find it funny how King Man was trying to teach Betty about letting go but he himself can't let go of Margles, its so ironic and contradicting.
It goes to show that even if you’re teaching a lesson, doesn’t mean that you yourself learned it
I love literally any episode that has Jermaine.
Best part is how that ice creature is Gunther post finale
Who plays Germains character? (Sounds like the same actor as Greg Demayo Universe) whoever it is, it feels like they play such loving, caring, and supportive characters. I love it. These are some of my favorite side characters tbh. ♥️

12:16 do you think that it may indicates that the crown, or at least the magic of the crown will have to be literally broken in order to retrieve simon?
11:06 i dont think that's actually multiplication by 0, it seems like a hexidecimal value in the common form of 0xN, where n is the number. this is backed up by the fact that we see 0x4f and 0x5e, neither of which make sense in decimal but are valid hexidecimal values. for example, the 0x43 would be equal to 51
Dude how is 0x43 equal 51

I prey that in the great gun war episodes it shows uncle gumbald beating princess bubblegum with technology, the he would say something along the lines of " there is nothing you can do that I can't do better" and then princess bubblegum gets angry and shoots a mint soda explosion right at his face and defeats him, that would be a great ending for her character arc, embracing her powers instead of hiding them.
So basically it's like you know u should study for this test tmrrw but you don't do it and cram an hour b4the test
I honesty love the head cannon of King man beings that one friend while a Jerk still wants to help in his own way.
(Sorry for the wall of text.)
Betty changed a zero to an eight.
Makes sense
