- Here's a coulple ideas I want to share as I organize my newly renovated loft. I have accumulated so much 5 gram jars whether from buying sample-size pigments, or mineralized eyeshadows. I hope this helps some or all of you. EnJoy!
AGAIN, Hand Shakes are caused by my new prescription allergy medication. $20 a pill, keeping me alive during allergy season, but making my hand and voice shakes like kwaaayeee.

you are a lifesaver! i have all these pigments just tossed in boxes, and i never use them that way. Now I can organize them properly...Thankyou so much for this video :)

I've been looking online at different items for organizing makeup, but completely overlooked crafting/paper shelves! I kept looking for shallow drawers. I didn't know the shelves slid out. That's perfect! As usual, you're brilliant Koren. And so sweet, too.

hey iphigena - yes, I use them to create or change colors on existing products. I also custom blend colors with them, and of course, making homemade lipgloss and such. Its really quite multi use.

hey ashweed - you can put a light weight gauze material over them. Cheese cloth works great. Its light enough that it doesnt crunch the bristles, yet good enough to prevent dust from landing on the bristles.
Hi Sass - yeah Ihave used them in some of my theatrical performances. Altho the colors are vivid and intense, and definitely reads when you'r eon stage, they don't have the NON-CREASING formulation that painpot have. So it will crease on you specially if you have oily lids.
Your videos are so informational and you're so handy. If i ever get that many makeup, i'll definitely make a shelf like yours.

I've been thinking of a way to organize all my pigments and eyeshadows instead of just dumping them into an old sephora gift box! This is great! Thanks Koren
I depot everything into a bead container (which can store 5grams- 30 count tray) and store in the Muji large 2 drawer acrylic organizer. Each Muji drawer holds 53 containers. 6 drawers holds 316 containers of pigment and loose powder. Most of my collection comes from Fyrinnae, TKB and Mac. I use a permanent marker (silver) to write the name on the top. It works very well and gives me access to a large amount of color.
Wow. Now I wish I had that many pigments JUST to organise it like that!

thanks Vixen - yeah, if you read the thread, I replied to this issue. I once again switched to a new Allergy prescription, and its making my voice and hand shake. Doc told me it will be like it for weeks until my system gets used to it. So I hope soon enough it will pass.

Yes i have a 7 drawer dresser...mainly meant for clothes..but the drawers are kinda small...so i put all ofmy make up in there...I'ts awesome i love it..
Another idea is to get those plastic organizers..they have 4-5 drawers with dividers inside them..to separate compacts..and stuf...really nice and convenient..clean looking too..But they can run anywhere from 30-50 as wel..sometimes u can get lucky and get them for 20.00..:)

hey Chris - no problem, yeah my allergies all causing that. Its gotten better, but when its bad, its bad.
Yeah I just ran it across the width of the board, marked with a pencil, and cut with a kitchen knife. The wood is pretty soft.
This is a great idea! I dont' have nearly enough jars to need to do this, but I love the idea..

hey evilan9el - Yes I do, theyre actually an all-natural version of pigments, no synthetic fillers and such.

hey Nola - most of the time, the caps have gaps and doesnt really sit well on the thread of the jar. When you flip it, the fine powders get loose on the threads and you get powder all over. So thats why I label to caps instead.
yeah the past 3 weeks I have been due to my new allergy med. Doc said it be like that till my system get used to it - Im like well allergies better but my nerves are killing me now LOL - hopefully it passes soon.
