- (Level: ALL) More organizer ideas! As I continue with my 'spring' cleaning, I find that I need more organizers to make things easier to find in my makeup room. So off I went to various stores and here are what I find that are $10 or LESS. Happy organizing! EnJoy!

I like to think outside the box too! When I first started in the industry I bought a tool box where as a few friends bought a makeup box on wheels. I'm the only one who's box has stood the test of time and my mua friends are now all rocking tool boxes too 😄

Lots of good ideas! I found some great ideas at the outdoor store today. Clear tackle boxes small to large. Lots of great storage ideas found in the fishing isle :) crazy that makeup doesn't have more specific purpose bins and containers but we can work around that :)
this was one of the best organizing videos out there..................ONLY becoz you showed us what you do with them instead of going through what all your brands and styles are...thank you for telling us what color you painted the barn instead of telling us how you painting the barn

I'll be using these tips for art supplies - the tray idea is brilliant for pencils, pens, tools, exacto knives, paint brushes….all kinds of things. I love that they can be organized and easily accessible this way. Fabulous, thank you for posting this!!

OMG I almost freaked out when you said you where going to organize the pencils in the mesh basket, but you totally blew me away when you had it upside down, you have awesome ideas thank you, im definitely gonna subscribe

Cool. I was watching this thinking it was for crafts, and I see a lot of potential from what you chose because we have the same size bottles for our embossing powders and pigment powders and our markers are the same size as your liner pencils. I've found those same items at Goodwill for $.99 So you can think even further outside the box. and cheaper. Thrift stores. You would be amazed at the prices. And at the beginning of spring there was an abundant of storage options. A letter organizer might be the key thing for your pallets too.
If u put an few random old dvd case in the dvd organizer then u can create a shelf to put polishes or make up on hang it on the wall to make use of ur verticle space in a smaller room. Helps keep ur vanity clear of clutter. If u dont have old dvd cases then u can measure and cut wood, thick cardboard or even plastic to fit in the slots to make shelving. If u spray paint it then it looks cohesive and no one would guess u made it.
U can also add hooks on bottom to hange jewelry from. Personal touches like that make ur space more ur own. :)
The first product I saw, I had a bad experience with. Everything slides out! Your method, of course, is GENIOUS!
Great Ideas. I found a double sided box like that at Wal-Mart in the Sporting Goods section. I think it was supposed to be for fishing lures. I use it to organize and contain my colored hair elastics and mini clips.
You can also use the picture frame flat on your bench top if you only have certain things on your vanity (and have the space for your chosen frame) as he sides of the frame will stop items from moving a over vanity but keep separate an organised and separate if you have a frame similar to the one shown with individual pics framed within larger frame.
Some good ideas that I still haven't seen ppl mention and you posted this years ago!!

so creative...I'd take a mirror or cardboard with decorative paper and glue it to the wire basket so you can move the eye pencil holder w/o taking them all out...love your ideas!!! keep them coming!

I like the picture frame one- you can take a picture of a specific look and then put the products that go with the look that fit on the little shelf.
organizational tutorials are almost an addiction these days....but I love the contrast between what and how guys and gals see things differentky and find unique and innovative ways to be both creative and use intelligent design to maximize potential storage hazards. Great vid!

great ideas! i use an old see through plastic jewelry box (with custom dividers) to store my skin care bottles and they fit perfectly

Great idea using the DVD holders for pallets. I have several already on the wall holding dvds we never watch.
Wanted to add that I love the picture frame idea too. I can put my paints in that and have easy access to them. Like that better than using that as a picture frame.

Fab video - I use the CD rack idea for pallettes which is great cos it's easy to access items. Thks for the other ideas - will investigate!

Great video. Just a thought on the wire mesh basket you showed first. You might take wire cutters and snip out little pieces to make the squares bigger to accommodate a larger item, such as the lip glosses you mentioned. Be sure to file the cut edges so they wouldn't cut your products.
EnKoreMakeup I realize this is from quite some time ago now, but WOW... SO creative! Things I would've NEVER even thought of... I mean, they were all good finds/tips, don't get me wrong.... but that 1st little white basket you flipped upside down for pencils, etc... simply blew my mind!! Absolutely GENIUS! :) The last one too... using that $10 wooden DVD shelf to hold MAC instead.. just brilliant! It's these types of things.. I could've never come up on my own, so thanks for sharing! Well done! :)

Koren,Thanks so much for doing a DIY-like video! have you thought about putting a bottom on the basket so that when you put your pencils in, you can move it around your studio without them falling out the bottom. Also check out a sporting goods store and look at the fishing tackle organizers. you will LOVE some of the little boxes and compartments they have.

for the picture frame. you can put a picture of a make up look you sis using 3 or 5 pigments from mac and put the picture and hte colors you used infront so when you go to recreate the look again your not wondering what colors your use there there infront of the picture!

First off, you're AWESOME & THANK YOU for the advice - I'm in DESPERATE NEED of a holder for my Pricey Alcohol Markers - and YOU not only solved my problem, BUT... I ALREADY HAVE a bunch of these wire baskets (sitting in my garage just WAITING to be repurposed!!!) ❤️ You might want to add "Pen/Alcohol Marker" specifically to your tags (since alcohol markers are WAY DIFFERENT than water/oil base....)
PS, THANK YOU RE HOME DEPO STACKBLES! I have the bigger ones from 99 cent store but Staples wanted $15 for the little stackables (identical to your Home Depo ones...) #YouRock!

Here is another "outside the box' idea...I found a cutlery stand on clearance at target that holds my brushes perfectly. It has 3 large cylinders and spins around like a Lazy Susan!

Great ideas, especially for the jumbo crayons. My problem I loved your container to hold brushes. One day I found a rarely use brush had dust on it. I don't want dusty brushes. What great idea do you have to display brushes while keeping them sanitary?
