    I saw tons of tutorials on the subject but this one mate is the nicest of all. Clear and really well explained. Thank you so much. I was struggling with this tool before that ! Do not hesitate posting more about zbrush !

    I remember seeing another video where he explained the weird cutting behavior of the brush, if you drag the clipping mask (circle, rectangle, etc) far enough into the object you are cutting into, if the center '+' is on the object you get the weirdness. Make sure you don't let the '+' overlap the object and it should work better.

    Ok....I can see that the gradient is determined from which side you're appling the trim. It's a tricky tool to grasp, but I'll conquer!

    This is really buggy for me, when I try to remove part of a model, it makes a bunch of messy tris stretching between the areas I cut, and doesn't even remove the same area that I selected

    • @cgmax7
      @cgmax7  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tey to remove small parts its not good for big part For example a big sphere

    HI. I'm trying to use this tool but it is bugging me! I'm trying to extract bits off a sphere, but it always seems to remove the one bit I dont want to move, versus the other side. Is it possible to change the side of the gradient? so that it extracts the OTHER side? Or is the tool function fixed as it is?

    I've looked every where and not even the pros know how to clip a v shaped path on a triangle, this is the 35th video I watched and no one can answer that question, I drew a triangle shape, I want to clip the inner part of the triangle so the end result can look like a V shaped triangle 3D of course, but zBrush does not have the option to draw a fence and clip sharp made fence/clips. Many people told me to go to blender but blender has its own, 50,000 processes just to create a triangle, and clipping is like a nightmare. zBrush why is it so difficult to make fences and clip the inner parts of the fences? I told one person that at Pixologic and one cust rep replied, use the Clip Curve, I'm so upset at the person who replied that, I tried it and did not work, I do not want a Curved clip, that person does not care to read my Goal. I'm also new to zBrush but not even the experts have a way to do this. If anyone I mean anyone that reads this knows, please reply. Thanks.

    Maybe you know: How can I invert gradient(change direction, area of cutting) of curve in ClipCurve brush or similar? In the ClipCirlce brush for example ALT is inverting area, but in ClipCurve brush alt is adding point for curve... Is it possible? Invert/change direction in ClipCurve Brush? However, thank you for tutorial :)!

    • @cgmax7
      @cgmax7  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to say but their is no way to invert the gradient however the trick is to do this method is drag it from the other side or you can change the direction of the model. Hope this will work out...
