Love this pedal. The only annoying thing, for me, is that when you're recording your first loop over a drum track and you hit the button to get out of record mode, you have to time it *exactly* right otherwise the loop starts playing back ahead of the drums. When recording with drums, I think it would be better all round if it delayed the playback of the first loop until you get to the 1 of the first bar.
Great review as always. This is the drummer I need. Finally I'll be able to rehearse without worrying about the fact that the drummer is not going to rehearse ...
I sometimes busk using a looper and drum machine, this might be a decent way to eliminate having to lug an extra piece of gear. I'm gonna check some of my local shops. Thanks, Shane.
@@babetteleblanc7620 most probably have gotten your own loopers by now but for anyone looking into all these; specifically the ones with drum machines, you might want to scrutinize them closely because some of the drum sounds can be cheesy, and cymbals especially can be overpowering to the drums, even through sound systems without tweeters. Sure you can play along with outside drum tracks from your phone or whatever, but the smaller Loopers may not save them and you need a small mixer, or have to plug and unplug the new drum sound with whatever instrument u are inputting. I've got the DigiTech stereo and the NuX Deluxe, and they are both great fun and great tools, but I'm not sure if there's 1 that does everything anyone would need or want, but these are surely a great recommend for any student, on up to anyone really. I wish they were around 45 years ago
@Lawrence Tovar Jr. you are exactly right. I did get this and it’s a bit cheesy. I haven’t found anything that is perfect yet. I do love the DigiTech Trio which sounds great but sometimes I just need simple. I’m going to check out the two pedals you mentioned, thanks.
Speaking of NuX I ended up getting the JTC Drum & Loop Pro which is similar to the Deluxe but has 2 on board buttons - 1 for the drum track along with a jack for a foot switch which I haven't got (would need an extra power supply for that but end up with 4 foot buttons). It's pretty cool - some of the rhythm tracks aren't great but there are various ones that are good and the drum sounds are good along with fills for each.
I agree with Jamal, my Ditto just isn’t going to cut it anymore. I’ll have one of these on the pedal board very soon. Thanks Shane, as always cutting edge video!
Looper pedals are interesting to work with. Your timing and the ability to hold time is critical in creating loops. That being said this pedal with the drum loops is an excellent addition to a looper. I have a Ditto looper however I would definitely get this strictly for the drum samples!!! Great video!!!!!🤘🏽🎸🤘🏽🎸🤙🏾🎸🤘🏽
Pretty damn impressive how Mooer fits so many features into such small pedals. The drum loops actually sound great, i was pleasantly surprised. Thanks Shane, might have to pick one of these up. On a side note i've noticed you've put the Bardens back in the tele, sounds great man.
And to think there was a time when all I had was an Yamaha four track cassette and Roland drum machine! Looping meant I had to hit rewind and play it again :) But it was better than jamming to a record player...amazing and no, I'm not that old!
Couldnt have come at a better time. My nephew has been bugging me for a looper and this one looks like just the ticket. Thanks Shane. Cheers from Boston....!!!
This mini pedal sounds great! I now have it..bought it last week. And the drums sounds good enough. The click track enables you to standby and be in sync with the drums for recording(looper+drums mode). This tiny pedal is awesome. Loving it! 😎🤘🤘🤘❤
Pretty good looper pedal, pro’s 4 beat count in before record, drums defo help to record & improve timing, tap tempo and hold switch down to delete last layer/loop, con’s, I’m not expecting drums to be fantastic but a lot of the drum genre beats seem a bit too busy for me with really loud Hi-Hat level, that could just be me though! But good variety of genre beats to chose from, all in all pretty good for the money and very beneficial as a practice tool and helps your creativity when practicing alone at home.
Great pedal, the price is low and the quality is just as good as much more expensive loopers, no complaints at all..thanks for the review, I was hoping to see if I had missed any of the possibilities of this pedal and I learned something new, didn't know I could erase the last loop by holding down the switch, so, lesson a day accomplished, thanks again.
I have a basic Moore looper (that I need to use more!). With the drums included, this should be more inviting to play with, and get more use! Sounds like a good enhancement to a looper.
waw ,this is awesome , i,m actually planing to get rid of my tc electronic stereo looper, because of a crash in the playback loop, and was thinking of boss, pedal stations, but mooer seems cheapo alternative , i’ll make more researches. thanks
The fiancess got me one for Christmas it's a great bit of kit for the money specially when boss wanted to same amount when this has the extra feature of being able add a drum track too
Nice pedal. I'm trying to decide between this and the nux JTC which is very similar in features size and price. On the end NuX you actually have the option of laying down your Loop then adding the drums which will sync up to your timing
QUESTION!!! If I turn up the gain after making a backing track, does the backing track/drums also get gained? (When not via fx loop) I have seen this before in pedals like this and it rendered them completly unusable for me.
It would still be distorted if you put the looper in the effect loop of an amp with Over drive on. If you want over drive you have to put a OD pedal in front of the looper pedal. It's the only way.
Yeah, I had the same problem. I think the tap feature only works in the "Drum" mode. Shame as the instruction insert states that the tap tempo feature could be used on the Looper & Drum setting.
I want a looper/metronome with snare, snare with brushes, high hat, bass drum, and other musical voices available. I may have to get a looper and a drum machine, though.
Nice demo. Sounds like a great pedal. Do you use this through the amps effects loop or in front of the amp? If you are using an overdriven amp would the drums be overdriven too?
Nice demo. I am using the Mooer looper. It is easy to use and sounds great. However this is even better. I will probably get one. Is there on 3/4 or waltz time? Maybe one of the blues beats is 12/8 and could be used as 3/4 if slowed down.
intheblues I too would like to know the answer to this question, as far as I was able to figure out, you can't. I can only get the tap tempo function to work in Drum only, when you switch to L&D it seems to clear it.
I didn't get how to accelerate or to slow down the rhythms. I have used small looper devices before, seems this one works the same way. Got to watch again to understand how it works. This is great when you don't have a composition in mind but don't have a band to carry out it.
Anyone know what the length of the recording time is. I had a looper Pedal before and it recorded about 4 seconds shorter than a slow blues verses. It drove me mental.
Hi ,love that small looper and drummachine,i have one from digitech, just its easy to play with cause its hase a bass player, lol yet i can store my music or save it on a tablet, but does the moore has a usb output or a sdcard out to save the music?? So please send me a answer if you can at my email adress, so thanks allot
Thanks for the nice review! I have a couple of questions: (1) While in L+D mode, I stop the pedal after I record the first loop - then when I press the button to overdub will I get a count-in click again? (2) Is the loop lost once the power is switched off?
Drums through a guitar amp will never sound nice. I imagine the demo part of the drums only were recorded directly into the computer of through studio monitors. Guitar speakers are designed for guitars, so drums come out all muffled and bad sounding. It’s a shame there isn’t a separate output like on my TRIO + to send the drums to a separate full response speaker.
PS: Amazon US doesn't ship to Australia now, since the Aussie government started charging GST for online purchases. Amazon just took the huff over it...
Yes, they do get distorted. no matter were you put it. The only way to have distortion is to use a OD/distortion pedal before the looper pedal. Then you can have a clean rhythm in the looper and have distortion for lead or both distortion.
Love this pedal. The only annoying thing, for me, is that when you're recording your first loop over a drum track and you hit the button to get out of record mode, you have to time it *exactly* right otherwise the loop starts playing back ahead of the drums. Dam u said u wernt that old my bad, but i am, oh shit.
Great review as always man! Looks like you were having a blast! Definitely checking into this one! 🤙🏻🎸😎
Great demo. They kept it simple unlike other option paralysis pieces of gear. Bet sales will prove it a smart move.
Couldnt have come at a better time. My nephew has been bugging me for a looper and this one looks like just the ticket. Thanks Shane. Cheers from Boston....!!!
Dag! Drum machine with multiple drums and a looper in that lil guy! Nice demo on a great product.
I like that the drums actually sound somewhat natural
This pedal makes playing alone so much more fun.
Great demo and loved your playing !
Thanks for the video! Just got this for X-Mas. Love it so far and drums are surprisingly good! Just added a new member to the band, lol. :)
This is a pretty cool loop station and drum machine in one. Lemme know what you think.
intheblues Nice pedal ! Are you going to demo that Mod Factory MK2 as well ?
Yep it's coming up next I think.
Love that intro jam!!!!
Thanks dude!
It's got my thumbs up man! Sounds better than that Digitech thingy
Some of your best playing on this! Good job and the pedal is nice too!
This is a great pedal, like the count in & tap tempo & size, great value! Nicely done Shane, a keeper!!!

Thanks for the nice demo! quite a selection of drums!
Made me smile to see you demonstrate this in front of the poster for the John Mayer TRIO poster! lol
Great demo Shane! I like it, could be perfect for a mini grab and go pedal board. Thanks for doing what you do!

Great demo Shane, looper pedals are pretty tricky to get the feel of. Nicely done.
WoW this is exactly whatt I've been looking for simple , effective and for a mid to cheap price. Thanks
Thank you ,now feel me so great to have this soon...perfect🙂👍
A must have pedal for your pedalboard.
Can I use this with my TC Electronics Ditto pedal to record the drum parts ?
Great playing. Congrats 🎉
What a great lil pedal ! Thanks for the review Shane 👍
I have a basic Moore looper (that I need to use more!). With the drums included, this should be more inviting to play with, and get more use! Sounds like a good enhancement to a looper.
Honestly I get distracted during your demos Shane, I trying to pay attention to the product you show but get distracted by your awesome playing!!
Very fine demo Shane.
I'm a lefty ad well my friend this is all I need to complete my studio set up cool demo
Im a lefty too

Awesome playing! Thanks for sharing :)
This is the reason I hate Mooer, now I have to go buy this !
See that guy with credit card behind you? It's me.
Excellent demo. Thanks!
Came for one pedal. Now I’m gonna have to buy two dammit!
Hi. Thanks for the video. I did not understand how you change the tempo in the L+D mode. I try to tap the tempo push button but nothing changes.
Wonderful demo, Gonna buy this product based solely on your review.
When I select the Drum mode and set the tempo and then switch to Loop+Drum mode the tempo will change to the default. What I do wrong?
Think I know what to tell the kids to get me Farthers Day, great demo as always.

Cool product in general. I personally would have loved a few simplier REALLY basic Drum patterns though.
QUESTION!!!
If I turn up the gain after making a backing track, does the backing track/drums also get gained? (When not via fx loop)
I have seen this before in pedals like this and it rendered them completly unusable for me.
Nice. Cheers Shane!
Thanks very much
Yes! This is great!
Had 2 of these.drum quit working on both after few weeks. Anybody else. Any idea. rock on.
Looks like you can't use the tap tempo in drum + looper mode ! ?
Excellent!
With a modest adapter you can run these using a power bank and not have to worry about power when you're busking.
Can I connect to the mic of my percussions?
It's a neat product. My challenge is my amp doesn't have an FX loop. Not sure if it'll sound good in front of the amp especially on high gain.
It would still be distorted if you put the looper in the effect loop of an amp with Over drive on. If you want over drive you have to put a OD pedal in front of the looper pedal. It's the only way.
Cool video. Can you tell us if the tap tempo works in L&D mode? I can get it to work in Drum only but once you switch it changes back. Not helpful.
Same problem
Yeah, I had the same problem. I think the tap feature only works in the "Drum" mode. Shame as the instruction insert states that the tap tempo feature could be used on the Looper & Drum setting.
Fusion 2 beat is in 7/8 which is nice. What is Fusion 1 ?
Shane, are you using this pedal now? If not, what are you using?
What is the Current Consumption for this pedal or mA?
I want a looper/metronome with snare, snare with brushes, high hat, bass drum, and other musical voices available. I may have to get a looper and a drum machine, though.
Does it fit mic? I want to record keyboard and sing and play guitar but my guitar is acoustic, will it be good for this? Thanks
Nice demo Shane. At the start, I thought you were going to break into The Motels "Total Control"!
Is it possible to route the drum machine output to a PA but the looper output to my guitar amp?
No, there is only 1 output on the pedal so everything (drums and anything recorded) is from 1 blended source to the 1 output
Nice demo. Sounds like a great pedal. Do you use this through the amps effects loop or in front of the amp? If you are using an overdriven amp would the drums be overdriven too?
once you stop it will it save what you recorded so you can start up again?
Great video would u know if these drum tracks are the same as there micro drummer pedal that doesn’t have the looper ? Thanks
No USB port to save and transfer files ?? That makes it useless
Could you do a review on the Moore GE100, love to sky music too from melbs !
What about odd rhythms? Is there any solution for 5, 7 or 9?
Nice demo.
I am using the Mooer looper. It is easy to use and sounds great. However this is even better.
I will probably get one.
Is there on 3/4 or waltz time? Maybe one of the blues beats is 12/8 and could be used as 3/4 if slowed down.

The blurb I just saw said 20 minutes
Is this for guitar only? Or does it also work on bass? Sorry, kinda new to this.
Doesn't matter if you're playing a guitar or bass, it's a looper pedal and records whatever the input signal is.
@@Smart-Alex Thanks for the info! Cheers!
