Holy moley! Now, I regret having bought a simple looper. I think what impressed me most was the quality of the sound after changing the tempo... you might expect to hear artifacts or a chipmunk effect, but no... it sounded pristine. Incredible. Great demo, Brett.
Thanks for your demo Brett, looks like a really good looper, for me the a great new feature is the timestretch when wanting to speed up or slow down tempo without any pitch change, that for me is a really handy feature. Cheers
Just what I've been looking for. Can't wait to find out the release and price details. Great playing as always by Brett. Just makes it look effortless.
My God. This thing is mind-blowing. You just sent me a mind-bullet. For $169 bucks.... holy crap. I gottsta get one of these babies! Your demo is incredible. This thing looks like so much fun!! Gotta get one. On the list for sure.
Nai~ce!! Especially since you looped in a Bass part 1st!! Hardly no one does this to demo a looper these days!! It’s a fine way to bring out & feature the Drums section of a combo-type looper such as the Mooer!! ✨🎛️🎸👍🏾😎(but,..i prefer the Lekato one..👌🏾)✌🏾😊
This helped a lot when buying. And you rocked it out too.. love this video. Wish you went more into how to use this pedal. The instructions are hard to understand and after I bought it I struggle with setting up the loops.. if you have any suggestions please reply! Thanks man.
Brett, this is the best video tutorial for this pedal. The manual is crap and my virus software blocks the Mooer editing software because the developer can’t be authenticated. I will have a go at it this pm and see what happens. Thanks, man. Ps., hopefully you and the Reynies can come to Austin sometime soon. I’d love to see you live. Probably not going to Oz because of the covid bs.
Great demo, very complete and great video! I have a few questions though (if anyone can enlighten me...) I can see that there is also an external input for footswitch control... Does anyone know what you can do with an external footswitch ? What does it do, what other options or possibilities does it provide ? And does it work with just any external footswitch, or does it have to be a specific one (maybe from the brand) ? And also, any opinions & feedback from owners ? What do you think about it ? Thanks in advance
Always fun when Brett gets his funk on! 😎 I have been wanting a Boss rc-10 for a fair while now, it keeps getting put on the backburner. This maybe a better priced alternative? A quick online search gathers zero results. So, figure this must be a pre-release demo. I guess what's hard to know here is what many of the drum tracks sound like and how the sound quality is overall when layering tracks. Brett just always sounds excellent. 😊 Cheers. Edit: Just checked distributors page - not on there yet, which doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't landed (site just not updated), but likely not quite ready in terms of getting them out to the retailers. I'll keep an eye out..a price would would useful. 🙏
Thomann in Germany have an initial price of £129 showing on their site, Out of stock at present but will be available soon. Or they are already available for sale on AliExpress and you can get one including shipping for about £110 it would take 10-14days to be delivered.
@@thedeadxtras9927 Very interesting - thank you. 😎 I see the price at $173 (Aus) most advertised, a few just over $200 (not many) & 1(only) over $300. That's really interesting as the original on average costs more out here. So, I suspect the new version will cost a bit under $300. At roughly 40% less via aliexpress, I can definitely see the attraction. That's a substantial discount. 😎 Oh and I assume by the look of average shpping times allowing about 3 weeks would be fair!
@@nostro1001 Is Ali Express selling pirated versions? I’m guessing so considering the drastic price difference. Though how could they have a copy made before the pedal has even been released yet? I’m guessing even the demos haven’t been out long.
I just bought this pedal but I can't seem to end a song without being abrupt by pressing the stop button. I don't see how this can be used in a live setting. How do you end a song either by fading or slowing down the tempo?
Does it have a special blink to indicate the start of the loop cycle? Th Boss and others do it, and it's a nice feature to have -- sometimes a person can get lost in the pattern and come in at the wrong point in the repetition.
I know it's been a long time... I'm 8 months into my guitar journey (I'm a keyboard player). I'm ready to purchase a loop and drum pedal. I'm considering this one, the Joyo OMB, Flamma FS01 or FS21, and the Donner Circle Looper. Drum quality is important to me. I don't want to get hung up on something that is so complicated that it takes away from the learning/fun experience. Any thoughts you might have would be awesome. Your videos are the absolute best out there. Thanks for all you do.
Unable to get an answer anywhere so will try here. while performing with this one can you switch between loops seamlessly without a hiccup for say like an A/B (verse chorus) situation with a controller footswitch? so far looks like this one has a leg up on the donner circle looper with its ability to send drums to a seperate output and the auto start feature. hanks in advance

I bought an open box unit and slot #1 had an audio file in it. I trird to delete the file using downloaded manual from Mooer but can't seem to get it to delete. Any help? Not much on the nitty griity proceedures on utoob.
Gonna have to sell my Beat Buddy and Ditto Looper and get one of these. I never use them because I can’t get them to sync. What good is having a looper if I can’t sync with drums? Apparently midi-sync is required to achieve that. I assume this Mooer pedal has midi-sync? I wonder if it can be synced with keyboard, a DAW, and other midi devices. If anyone knows how I could make my existing pedals work together please do share.
Great demo, playing and pedal. I’m torn between this and the Digitech SDrum pedal. I have a Beatbuddy but find it requires too much tinkering with for on the fly playing. The SDrum is unique in that you create your own beats and it automatically fills in the details. Anyone try both pedals? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
SDrum appeared AMAZING to me, but I’m not a drummer and I felt that I was spending far too much time tweaking and ‘playing’ the drums using it It is super powerful but I appreciate pedals like this one much better- far simpler to use- which is a strong pro for me and obviously can be a con to other people
Dang it 😂 I was already having a hard enough time deciding between the Nux JTC, the Flamma fs21, and the Donner Circle. Note I have to throw another possibility in.

Brett it's perfect review! Mooer catches up and overtakes everyone!
Love the guitar sound and playing. Very helpful demo, thanks!
What's cool is that the drum fills are included in the loops and the drumming is pretty expressive!!...
Versatility in a box love it.. usual exquisite playing Mr K thank you!🎸👍☺
Thanks! Good fun.

i like the light funky groove...and ofcourse the light metal riffs fusion ballads..in one plate...
The pedal is cool, but damn that guitar tone !!! Reminded me of a dialed in David Gilmour tone. Awesome !
Great demo. Really likes your intro playing! Etheral.
This thing is fantastic. Now if Mooer would actually make these new X2 series pedals available. Great demo, Brett!
Great review, great sound, great playing; looper is also at home 😉

Brett! That's an impressive piece of creativity on both of those. I'd definitely go for a full version listen should you put something like that out.
This helped a lot when buying. And you rocked it out too.. love this video. Wish you went more into how to use this pedal. The instructions are hard to understand and after I bought it I struggle with setting up the loops.. if you have any suggestions please reply! Thanks man.
Man that's crazy good !
Again, nobody can sell me on a pedal faster than Brett Kingman. Sadly they never make me sound anything like him. 😆
Soooooo true!!!!
How is it in bypass mode? Does it color the sound at all? The manual doesn't mention true bypass.
Brett, this is the best video tutorial for this pedal. The manual is crap and my virus software blocks the Mooer editing software because the developer can’t be authenticated.

Does the recorded loop automatically sync to the drums when playing back

Anyone know how to delete/overwrite saved tracks through the pedal itself? Or do you have to connect it to a computer to do so?

Great demo! One question, can i use just the drum beats without the looper? If so, how?
Hi, can you recommend a footswitch pedal for the groove loop x2?
Octaver pedal or just the way that low B sounds to get that nice Bass sound at the beginning of that video mate ?
Just the way the low B sounds. No pitch shifting happening here.
I bought an open box unit and slot #1 had an audio file in it. I trird to delete the file using downloaded manual from Mooer but can't seem to get it to delete.

You put the beat buddy before the looper and record it.
Hey love the times here...what pedal board did you use? ?? Caribbean viewer here
Can it be connected to an Amplifire which in turn is connected to a Focusrite audio interface through the computer?
hey, is there a way to replace the drum patterns with mine, thanks
Hi Brett, did you use a pedal to make the guitar sound a bass guitar or are you using a baritone guitar?
What kind of guitar is that? I know that particular model is no longer available... :^(
Откуда взялась бас гитара ? Что за фокусы ?
How do you delete a saved spot, I can't get it delete 😢 and I have em all full. PLEASE HELP 🙏
Go to the track press stop and record at the same time
How do the drums sounds compare to the Beat Buddy?
Great video, how did you get that bass line in there mate?
7-string.
Thanks !🎉
Brett, Can you plug the Mooer Preamp directly into the input of my ampli as a distortion pedal?
You could - it won't hurt it - but it won't sound much good either. You'd be better off going into the return of your amp's FX loop if you have one.
Can it do drum fills?
Hi wat bass gadjet u use
Great demo, playing and pedal. I’m torn between this and the Digitech SDrum pedal. I have a Beatbuddy but find it requires too much tinkering with for on the fly playing.

Is there a comparison?
Exactly ! I'm right in the same situation ! 😄 Did you make a choice ? How did you decide (and... are you happy with your choice) ?
Can you change memory slots while a loop is on? Do the drums follow into the new memory track?
Wow...dammit. I smell gas...
I would buy 3 of them if I could do anything remotely that cool. I feel like every loop I tried would be awkwardly out of time
AND: no double-clicking!!!!!!!!!!!!
just ordered one from Aliexpress new shop: 43 €!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!
the problem i see is if you want to have different parts to a song you need to change it manually!!
The Trio Plus much better!!!
I bought one .....it's a real P.O.S.!!
This pedal, the groove loop x2? What don't you like about it?
My opinion of it? 👎
Overpriced practice toy. ☹️
What would you recommend instead? I am not sure to pay the premium and get this or a proper multi FX pedal
