A popular fan theory for Out of This Dimension is that when Fox flies into the secret space bird that brings him out of the Lylat System and into the level, what actually happens instead is that the canopy of Fox's arwing gets smashed from colliding with the bird and his oxygen supply begins to leak out quickly. This causes Fox to hallucinate from brain damage and drift aimlessly into space until he eventually dies.
Okay, so that might explain why this weird parallel universe (even if its parallel universe status is enough on its own). but that does not explain the bird.
I’m pretty sure this is incorrect. There’s a guide for the game, forgot the name of it, but it features the recording of another arwing pilot. He reported the same bird in the asteroid belt, and was going to go investigate it since it’s a pretty weird thing to see out there, before describing feeling a strange “warping” sensation (kinda like how the stage warps) and was then never heard from again, neither him nor his ship. Any birds that looked like what he described were ordered to be avoided. So it’s more likely that fox really did just get sucked out of reality.

The scariest thing about this dimension is that it just goes on forever, you could travel an quadrillion times the speed of light for a billion years and you would still be trapped.
I'm not sure about that. For that to be true it would mean that the planets and stars in the background would have to be some kind of illusion caused by the light, since if you don't get closer to them it means they're not physically there. Since there's a way in there has to be some kind of way out. Possibly from encountering that weird bird again.

I would need a palette cleanser after sitting in a room trying to finish this level, give up. Turn off the system and the just hearing silence. Nope.
Its not creepy it looks cool like the theme is not ceeepy
The level itself isn't creepy. It's what it implies that makes it creepy. The fact that the game ends after defeating the slot machine is essentially saying that there's no escaping this level. You're stuck here.
Snes game modders: are you sure about that?
@@vontavius01 You're stuck on planet earth.
the design for this level is "out of this dimension" see the joke?
