When Void (who looks like retro Kirby BTW) is defeated in Star Allies Soul Melter EX, he smiles as he disintegrates and the screen fades (not to mention one of the motifs in the fights music is a minor key, 3/4 version of 8-bit Green Greens).
There is a theory that Kirby is actually a reincarnation of an evil god similar to Void (but turned good somehow).

The creepy thing about the Splatoon one is that the developer said that they had no idea of where the sounds were and where they came from. He didn't even put the sounds in the game, neither.. witch is odd to me? Also, the same thing happened to me. I was playing Splatoon, and I went into the first and same boss level, and I heard the same sounds, too.

What about in Pokemon Sword and Shield where you can find a girl who wants you to deliver a letter to her friend and when you do find her friend he turns out to be an old man who tells you when he was younger he was friends with the girl but she became very ill and when you go back to where the girl was she won't be there and the only thing you'll find is a reaper cloth which is used to evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir who is basically the Grim Reaper of Pokemon

Paper marios color splash has a whole bunch of unsettling situations one example is a shy guy dragging a toad behind a waterfall to drain the color out of him so the sound of the waterfall would muffle his screaming. What's even worse is that huey your partner tells you that color equal life in that world so a shyguy dragged a toad behind a waterfall to slowly kill him and muffle his screaming

That whole mailbox segment sent cold shivers down my spine. Idk why but something so innocent and inconspicuous like a mailbox just being this comtainer for unexplained horrors frightened me especially the dialogues that mentioned screaming and seeing a face

fun fact! that mushroom session in mother 3 (the whole scene, not just what the video shown) was that bad that some of the people testing it got emotinal so the harshness of the dialoge was cut down.

The animal crossing one reminded me of these recurring nightmares I used to have as a kid. Every time it would be like an animal crossing village inside of this big box sort of thing with the sky painted on. There was always creepy psychological horror kinda music and all the villagers pretty much had that hollow face which was just three black holes for the eyes and mouth, I’d walk around the village trying to talk to people and find a way out but they were always silent, and then eventually they’d disappear and everything would become more dark and dim and it was just get way more eerie, I never trusted animal crossing as a kid after this lmao

On the topic of the Ghost Girl from XY, she actually does appear in ORAS.
One of the Hex Maniac NPCs in Mt. Pyre says very similar dialogue to the Ghost Girl in XY and doesn't battle you at all.
I have the feeling that GameFreak was preparing to build up a narrative with the Ghost Girl across each of the Gen 6 games that will cumulate to a potential appearance in Pokemon Z, but that never came to fruition, which results in the Ghost Girl's story never getting explained as she does not appear after ORAS.
I found SA-X from Metroid fusion very unsettling,those white eyes, they're uncanny.

I actually grew up with the GameBoy Camera, and even though I didn't fully understand the steps to trigger these screens with the creepy faces, I did my best to avoid them at all cost because they obviously scared me.
A shame that the cartridge is most likely lost now. Now that I don't live with her anymore, my toxic mother threw a lot of stuff that belonged to me away instead of bringing it back or letting me come to their place to get it.
She and my step-father didn't want me to come to their place, to the point where after a year and a half of this situation, they finally brought my stuff back under the "threat" of me coming. Well partially. The rest was most likely thrown before and after this.
Even when I'm away they still find new ways to ruin my life. So many of my memories were thrown away like they meant nothing. I mean I know they meant nothing to her, and she couldn't care less about what I feel.

It's caused by the original version of the game's lighting engine were at fixed angles, Luigi's shadow gets displaced because it's unusually low and if the camera and light source are slightly tilted upwards so at the fixed angles from Luigi talking to certain toads, answering the call in the telephone room when lightning flashes, or Luigi called Professor E. Gadd, the shadow gets displaced

What about in OOT when Link stands in front of a redead (unarmed), it won't scream or try harming you, Link will begin shivering and sneezing. And if you have multiple redeads in the same room and defeat one, the others will walk towards it and kneel down next to it until it disappears (is this implying something?).
I could have an answer for that. A theory I heard was that the redeads in castle town, are the same people you see when you are a child. They just got turned into redeads. Some people from castle town can be found in kakariko when you are an adult, but not all of them. If you believe this theory the redeads kneeling next to one before they disappear could be mourning the one that died.
