    I really enjoyed this one. Sabrina is always nice to watch, and the lessons make good sense. The piecemeal approach and systematic steps towards addressing the problem was great. I probably of all things most appreciated Sabrina's questions throughout the process, they seemed really intuitive and genuine, I felt like I was watching getting a well paid for lesson. Great job really!

    It's amazing how many things I had tried and forgotten about this method of getting the club on plane. Unreal. Had a medium session this morning on the range and came home for lunch. Watched this and went back for another bucket; it worked for ever single club!!! From driver to pitch shots and even chipping. NO MORE PULLS!!! Thank you both

      The issue is - when you get on the course will your old swing creep in? That is where I struggle, drills, drills, drills, then I get to the course and I want to kill it again. Course vs range is SO different

    Very useful.
    I like the water bottle drill better than the glove under the armpit.
    In my experience, keeping that glove under for a full swing is detrimental. However, if I was watching closely, I think you said to keep it at around a half swing for the glove drill.
    Tee drill is great to keep on plane. Such an easy visual
    Bottle drill I think one of the hardest things for people making this change to believe, is that with a good swing, they actually won't hit the water bottle, though visually it seems like you would smack it every time.
    I think you could also use more explanation as to why her inside move leads to in to out. Hooks and blocks (flip to save it... Hook. Hold on to prevent flip .. block).
    You might have not said that to keep focused on still, not theory.
    I only watched about half the video , that's all I had time for. You may also have simply made that choice, not wanting to get too technical but stick with drills that are easy to remember and help.
    Great job, you've always been one of the best online teachers on TH-cam.

    The lesson video format is nice because the "before" and "after" videos and stills are so much easier to see. Seeing pros' swings is helpful, but it's hard to compare those swings to the 'bad' thing(s) we are doing. For example, that side-by-side still image of where Sabrina's hands finish was a great illustration.

    Battled for years to get rid of my over-the-top move and it's finally gone, could the water bottle in this placement cause me to go over the top again? I'd like to try this drill to stay on plane, just worried the water bottle will bring back my over the top move.

    I found I get the best swings when from set up I feel I'm swinging with my whole body to hit the ball. That seems to put the swing on plane in the backswing with the right weight distribution to swing with the club thru the ball to release the club to the finish. The lesson is swing the body, not the arms. Sabrina is very cute . young and flexible so she will figure it out.

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      IF.....if.....thats causing you any downswing issues.....then yeah I would look to neutralize.
      If you're too far OUTSIDE youll need to FEEL....FEEL....more inside just to get on plane
      You always feel the OPPOSITE of your issue to find middle
      then use video to confirm youre right on plane
      You can put the water bottle just OUTSIDE your club head and make it work INSIDE of it (opposite of her drill)

    Good video. My only pet peeve, especially with female golfers, is the long, I would say, fake follow through wrapped all the way around their neck. And then the double pump at the end. It's awful.

      Women don’t have a much muscle to stop the club and are more flexible. Just enjoy the game!

    Sabrina starting your swing with a two inch trail side scapula glide should shorten your swing.
    I’ll be watching you.
    If I see you going back to your old swing I will change the channel. But not really 😊❤️

    Is this not good for drawing the ball?

      Her misses would be pushes and hooks (too much draw) so we were looking to minimize that and go more straight

    How can you analyse why a player hasn’t got to number one. LPGA golf is very competitive. There are other ladies who are very good and performed well but not made it to number 1 . Golf is a tough game. I think besides being good you need a bit of luck on your side. I doubt she will be able to make No 1 now, but who knows….

      For sure...need a lot of variables to be the best of the best. Talent, tremendous work ethic, consistency, perseverance, some luck, good timing, etc etc

    Wasn't that far inside. Very poor camera angle makes it look bad.

      @CogornoGolf  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Luke! For sure camera angle was right.....but I've seen a lot of her swings prior to our lesson and she has always gone well under plane in the first part. If you watch any of her TH-cam or IG you'll easily see the same.
      All the best

    A little too much giggling, and her dress could be a bit longer, but Sabrina seems like a nice young lady. The lesson seems very simple, and helpful to most of us. I think Eric is the best instructor on you tube!

    Your job is making golf content and you don’t have time to practice?

    • @roblockhart8410

      Probably spends a lot of time editing and making preparations for new content. Aside from filming filming on the course she probably doesn’t have a lot of extra time for practice.
