Honestly, you guys should go through as many components as possible and show all the struggle like you did. The struggle bus lets people know if they want to take that ride or not.
Thanks for showing a realistic view on what is needed to do the job at home. Is an alignment really necessary? I did not see any eccentric bolts for alignment.
the first one they only used heat on the knuckle. the knuckle expanded ever so slightly where they still needed the clamp second ball joint, they used heat and the ball joint was in the freezer. while ball joint was in freezer it shrunk, while the knuckle it was getting heated. so the displacement between both items were good enough to fall in.
Yessir everybody needs a Wilton. Send it at a knuckle with some hate behind it and something's coming apart. lol Dave getting the service advisor treatment. everyone on some "you can rent my tools or pay book time x 1.5" Maybe i've had bad luck but the longest i've had a poly bushing live is 40k. Always pack in and squish out. The split half style way faster than the double sleeved style. I'm saving up for your Delrin compression bushes and crossing my fingers for an inner lower to come to market so i can be done with pulling my arms off for bushings. I want an OE lifespan with that crisp turn in

Ball joints with the zerk fittings 🤩
When we did mine I went to harbor freight and got a 12 ton press. I highly recommend using one, if you are doing these at home I believe they are 200.

Idk about everyone, but I am doing my front end because all bushings are worn out and my alignment is sh*t
Why did the second ball joint go in so easily? why the first one needed the C clamp?

what size sockets were used for pressing out?
Can we get more 2008 g35 sedan content
Just did this to my z, front and rear
It feels a ton better and the energy suspension kit for the rear works well
Where do I get the sticker on the inside of the blue tool cart?
At any point, would using the SPL aluminum bushings been a better option for the control arms?
