U guys need to compare expensive stickers compared to cheap stickers and see the difference in hp.

Unironically cheap stickers are stuff you get for red bubble or $5 for 100 stickers and aren't weather or water proof and fade out atleast a week as well as peel off. While the more expensive 6 dollar per sticker last for atleast 2 years and they get no weather damage or water proof. They just peel off after 2 years

I know a couple of people have already mentioned "mid" car, but I would wait till the end of the series. Use what you have learned and then do a mid car then compare all final cost and your lap times etc. Would probably be the best thing anyone has ever done for the diy guys.

TheBloodMango I think the Miata would hold its own against the two on a track day. I’m thinking the Miata will have a higher cornering speed and brake deeper. Of course the Miata will need a track day alighnment, track brake pads, braided brake lines, DOT5 brake fluid, re-flash the ECU with a track day tune and track day tires.
The type track is going to determine the winner. Road courses with long straights will benefit the Z’s but tight twisty tracks will be the Miatas bread and butter! The Z’s wouldn’t stand a chance on a Autocross track of setup properly with good tires!
owning both a 350z and Miata track cars, depending on the track, the Miata with good tires, suspension and brakes is tough to beat.....add a turbo......Beast.

I recently got a baller dirt bike and suspension front and rear compression and rebound it's so much fun testing it and seeing what tuning does. I'm so excited to try this out on my car with corner balancing

There is a cheap option for adjusting toe in the rear, it's the SPL eccentric bolts. You get different cams and drill out the bolt holes on the spring perch with the provided diagram.

The best thing for Toe adjustment for these is to widen the channel for the eccentric bolt which allows for much more adjustment. SPC and others make a kit for this that goes with the LCAs out back. You have to have those for these cars.

This entire series is just telling you to go in between High and low. Id imagine in almost every case, even a few steps up from the low. The big issues would mostly be addressed, and the price wouldn't be absolute insanity.
there's a point in which most of the things that are halfway between hi and low are actually pretty good. you get pretty much the same as with something expensive but at a lower price
kinda like how the midsize combo of burger gets you almost the same amount of food as the big combo

New low car sticker idea
i was in the market for some cheap coilovers but after watching these videos il think il stick to stock suspension with some stiffening mods like sway bars and a little stiffer springs until ive got the big money for some proper coilovers
Congrats on 1,000,000 views in a DAY on this one guys! Very VERY useful episode a ton of people skip when it's project time! As we say, you can make all the power in the world if you can't put it to the pavement it doesn't matter!
Such a relieve when I heard that they replaced the low car's coilovers
4:29 it works the opposite way actually. Mounting on the furthest holes gives the car more leverage working against the bar. Closest hole makes the car's roll have less leverage, thus allowing the bar to fight back with its stiffness. The stiffest setting is closer to the bar. Envision using your hand to pull that bar apart from the furthest out vs closest in how much force it would take, the bar is stiffer closer in.
That's what I was thinking to, and I think what Zack said in the Miata money pit where they swapped roll bars

@@jp7136 They also got the part about the purpose of adjustable sway bar links a bit wonky as well. They are not adjustable so you can "mount them away from other things in the way", you do it so you can adjust out pre-load. With driver in seat car sitting on suspension you want the bar to have no preset bind/pre-load on it caused by the endlinks. You adjust so the 2nd side can slot into the hole effortlessly (or you're supposed to at least).
AstroTools you can also use them to preload the suspension if you are ruining on an oval. It can help to get some tilt in the car to help in the turns.

To demonstrate caster you can use the angle of a bike down tube as positive caster that allows you to take your hands off as opposed to the negative caster on shopping cart wheels.
I love learning stuff about how alignment and such works.

The reason this series is so successful is that it compares things side by side that normally would be huge investments for people and there would be no reasonable way for people to compare them realistically they would only rely on the companies videos which are prob biased this series is honestly a gem

I noticed that derp time on low car also. Also there is no good way to test which is better suspension because the cars are are not the same. They have different HP, different tires, and different weights. That being said after you curb low car's time for James being retardedly slow in Low Car in comparison the cars are pretty close.

same with the front, but with understeer
Came here to say this too. They got the example right with the drift car, they just reversed the setting explanation on the bar. The holes closer to the center of the bar will be the stiffer setting.

I have a very similar ebay upper control arm on my Integra that I race at my local speedway. With the stock bolts, I've had it come completely loose in the middle of a race. Another guy had the same issue and welded it, we still wanted to be able to adjust if needed, so jjst used larger bolts and lock washers. But definitely not ideal
