As a tall left handed person I can't thank you enough for your comment, I was so relieved I finally found a left-handed mouse from a known brand and got VERY annoyed when I saw their hand size suggestion for the MX VERTICAL for 19cm+ hand sizes, that only comes as right-handed.
damn, i mean tbh yall im left handed too but im a right hand mouse user, but left handed touchpad user lol. i think its because most mice in life were always on the right side so i just got used to it like that

generalisation - a person 5ft 7" and below use the Lift, if taller use the Logi Vertical - to do with hand size. If you noticed the video you will have seen the small finger sat inside his ring finger and dragged on the table/pad - this is wrong - the little finger should fit below the the ring finger not inside - hence the need to use the Logi Vertical
Being a programmer for 30 years, made my hands prone to nerve compression in the carpal tunnel. This kind of mice saved my hand. And from those, the lift is the one of the highest value. I love it and it pairs along with my logi keyboard nicely.
I have a dout about Theo hands size. I have a small/medium hand, but In the Logitech site, my hand are big, because past 3 credit cards. Tell me please how big are your hands. Is The MX Vertical better?
I’m assuming you have also tried using accessories like the carpio to help fight carpal tunnel? Do you find it the ergonomic mouse to be the better option?
I've had the Lift since April 2022 (it's now Feb 2023). I formerly used trackballs (the MS Explorer and Logitech M570). However, I was still getting some pain in the wrist (with the Explorer) and the thumb (M570). I had tried a cheap vertical mouse from Amazon, but I decided to splurge and get this. My battery is at 60%, despite using it for work. It's holding up pretty well, but there's a shiny spot where my thumb rests on the plastic part under the side buttons. I wish they had made this into a true "MX Vertical Mini", but it's still the best thing out there right now. I'm using it with a PC desktop. I was having some range issues with the Bolt receiver, and I've actually had better luck with Bluetooth. I'm not using any other Bluetooth peripherals right now -- my speakers are hardwired and my headset uses its own receiver.
Is it precise? I've been using similar vertical mouse and they have universal problem that click actually moves the mouse, or you have to hold it firm with your thumb not to move - making thumb strain even more.
This is probably subjective but personally I can't stand the inertial smooth scrolling.. I need fast and precise movement, just scroll to where exactly I need as quickly as possible. Any additional delays and animations just irritate the hell out of me so the first thing I do on a fresh install is disable the smooth scrolling option in Chrome and Firefox.
The only flaw (like on many others) is the thumb buttons. They're placed inline, where they should be placed vertically. Then you just have to lift or lower the thumb.
Maybe somebody could help me😅 I use Logitech Lift and would like to set the horizontal scroll only on the side buttons, without tying to the wheel. How can I do this?
Mine started failing after 6 months. Right click sometimes work, sometimes it doesn't, you need to apply extra pressure to make it to work, so I end up doing double right click for every action, so annoying. Seems that the right switch is faulty ;(. UPDATE: After talking to Logitech, they sent me a new mouse, this one was still covered guaranty, they were so kind and supportive in the process, the mouse was sent from USA by FedEx, arrived in about a week.
That issue is sadly with all logitech mice, because they use bad quality switches. If you know how to solder and your mouse is out of warranty, you can replace them with better ones
all their mice have issues eventually, double click is very common one for example because the switches eventually get dirty and stop to work effectively
it's weird that you don't have smooth scrolling - in Logi Options+ I can turn on smooth scrolling for my old pebble logitech mouse (I know because I don't like it and it was automatically switched on when I downloaded Logi Options+)
I have a small question that maybe someone can answer for me: Is it possible to assign the programmable keys so that you don't have to lift the mouse to change the connected devices? So the key under the mouse to the one next to the mouse wheel.
Why can’t they put the device switching button near the top where my thumb is… I don’t wanna have to turn the device over and use my other hand to switch between devices…
Just recently started using the Lift. I love this mouse although it could use more rubber gripping area. Has anyone tried applying grip tape to this thing?
can someone please confirm if simple keystrokes like CTRL/CMD+F can be assigned to side buttons? or at least single keys like Backspace, with Options+ and this mouse
When considering how a mouse is similar to shoes but for your hands (tools to help you traverse mouse pads instead of roads) I'd say it's worth thinking of it as an investment. Since it'll surely get hoooours of use if you spend a lot of time on the computer.
It's my first ergonomic mouse and I'm OK with that. Using for 2 weeks. The only thing I don't like is the back cover at the battery department. It feels insecure.
I like my Lift mouse too. It really does help my wrist. I think I will be keep using it until Logitech releases Lift Master mouse. Am I holding my breath for that? Nah.. not really. But, I wish they will do it.
After 6 months I'm starting to get issues with the left-click registering. Disappointing. Really like the mouse. Doesn't seem to be a signal issue--it always works if I squeeze the click really hard. Opening it up to get at the micro switch looks like a massive pain.
Have you tried getting in touch with Logitech? I remember once I had an issue with a mouse, and called them up and told about the problem, they asked for my home address and sent me out a new one, no questions asked.
Does the buttons make any sound or it is really silent like their 30$ logi silent mouses? I am working many years with silent mouses and I would like to know, some people mention that it is silent, is that true?
