    I am from 24th batch, Nalaka knows me. Last month I had the interview with Dr. Tim and got a job offer from GV health. This is very informative, I am also coming wirh AMC 1 and OET. Way to go... Thank you

    In NSW there are lot of hospitals conduct WBA, John Hunter Hospital , Coffs Harbour , Port Macquarie , Gosford

      Part I will not expire , but it is better if you apply immediately , to show them that you are interested

      Malik, usually hospitals asked you to work In their hospital before apply for WBA. It will be around 6 months to one year.

    MET calls = Medical Emergency Team call activated by wad nurses , response team involve lot of people , ICU reg, ICU nurse , ED reg , HMOs , Ho s etc

      register would be after being a PGY1 or two for one to two years ( Pst graduate year 1 or 2) do not need to do an exam to become a registrar

      My best friend at university, got through the AMC part 2 and currently he is practicing there. Becoming a GP is one of my dream too. I'm still thinking whether UK or Australia suits me.

    I am a foreign medical graduate. MBBS done in Bangladesh. Now i am doing the ERPM exam ( Examination to register to practice in medicine) (act 16). Done with written and waiting for viva result. And planing to migrate to Tasmania and work as a doctor.

      Do the internship first , work for 1-2 years post intern and then do AMC exams

      8000 Aus$ , you have to pay it to the WBA coordinator , not to the hospital

      Yes , there were so many doctors who took that path . I have not heard of any visa issues . I came for PhD here and applied PR based on that and then went to Clinicals

      they will , but if you are planing to stay longer and apply for PR etc you will have to get some sponsorship either as a hospital doctor or as a GP later on

      contact the hospital HMO unit directly .. the list is there in AMC website ( North west regional hospital , Tasmania )

      As you have New Zealand PR you could come to the country easily . At 60 years you have some chance with GP pathway , unlikely to get a HMO job as the demands of the Job is generally quite high (for that age )

    I have a psychiatry diploma with 5years psy wd experience .but beacause of my annual transfer currently im working in regional health office as a school medical officer .AMC was not done yet.is there an issue of apply for psy related vaccancy after AMC as i have broken psy practice due to the transfer .

      No , you have a very good chance or getting a psych HMO job , it is one of the easiest pathways to come in to Australian medical practice

      you can request a Pead HMO job but you will have to do ED , med and surgery to get full registration with AHPRA after AMC part 2 exam
