I am a preintern who is awaiting for my internship. Can I know whether we do our internship in a teaching hospital or a base hospital will affect the job opportunity? Do they very concern about hospital hierarchy in srilanka? Also I want to know whether doing medicine for internship is much better than doing paediatrics? The subjects we select for our internship do they affect the CV?

Thanks . No relationship the hospital category at all , they only need you to complete the internship for AMC etc it does not matter you do internship in Mahiyangana /Diyathalawa or Teaching Hospial Colombo , You can do medicine or Pead it does not matter , I think it would be better to peads if you planing to do GP work later ..Hospital hierachry system in SL or even in Australia does not affect the registration process here ..

Like, do they cross check and veryfy the source, and some places we have worked may not hv been registered as Private Practice places in Line ministry or Regional authorities, so would that be a problem or will they consider it invalid if we add working experinces in such places?
