I lived on a boat in Seattle in the Fremont neighborhood back in 2016 and it was SO cheap. $700 a month covered the moorage, electricity, and weekly sewage pump out. The marina where I was also had on-shore bathrooms, coin-op showers, gated & covered docks, and 24/7 security. I don't think you could find a studio apartment for under $1000 right now in Seattle.
How many hours does this boat have on it though? For the price this is a good deal just a matter of how much wear is on it if it has low hours this is a great deal even if the wear is up some still not bad for the price

After over 20 years of being a Liveaboard sailor in Florida that finally got ran out by the millionaires the problem thing about the boat like that is just gonna cost you $1500 a month separate if you can find a place to put it now that all the rich people have moved into Florida, and taking everything over and all the corporations so the days of liver boards are pretty much over unless you’re rich😊

Ok, I've been involved with boats for the past fifty years. I'm done with them, I have no ambition to ever step foot on another one. This one..... looks very nice. This is a intresting sea worthy girl. Made of steel! Yes, if I were to do it again..... I would be very happy with this one. Very nice, this one is going to make a young couple very happy.
You left out slip rental. Taxes and utilities are same as a home so it's a wash with a house. The insurance will also be comparable the one other issue would be the mortgage rate. A preferred marine mortgage lender are not as competitive as land based assets.
