@@NautiStyles Hi...very small possibility that those are maybe called chocks since they are a hawsehole combined with a cleat...at least I see some references to that combination being referred to as a chock. But yeah...the most common term is hawsehole.😁
I watch a lot of small yacht videos, but I enjoy Vicky and Rico's presentation the most. They're knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. And it doesn't hurt that Vicky's easy on the eyeballs!
This yacht is definitely going into my “Yacht Favorites” category! The interior it’s just simply beautiful, especially with all the wood! And that engine room is Ridonculous! Never seen so much room on that size boat. Love watching you guys! 🫵😘
This is probably the BEST!!! couples yacht I've seen thanks for showing this and thanks to OFFSHORE YACHTS for providing us the opportunity to see their work as well as giving us who can't the opportunity to dream about owning one of their vessel's!!!!!!!!
They call them hawse pipes and they are used to provide access to the cleats when docking. You two do the best reviews. Your ability to be amazed by each new find on board is priceless, your chemistry together is rare. I love it!
No, they are fairleads. Hawes pipes or hawseholes look similar but serve a different purpose. Often the terms are inter-changeable - a fairlead is a hawse hole and a hawse hole is a fairlead. However, as we learn in naval architecture: Fairlead definition: A ring mounted on or in the hull of a boat to guide a rope, keeping it clear of obstructions and preventing it from cutting or chafing. Hawsehole definition: The hole through which a ship's anchor rope is passed and a hawse (as opposed to a mooring line) is a cable, chain or heavy rope used to tow or anchor a ship. So, a hawsehole is a heavy duty fairlead that usually has a guiding pipe behind it (a hawse pipe) that you will usually only find in the bow of a large boat or ship and its purpose is to guide the anchor chain.
I have been watching the boat tours for quite a while now. I'll never be able to have a yacht but i do enjoy the tours and i love how the 2 of you do them. Always fantastic. Thank you both.
This is simply fantastic! The biggest plus is that they didn't try to cram a third stateroom into it and just went with two good sized staterooms. If I had the money, I would be very happy with this as my new home. Excellent video!
What an Awesome Yatch, Incredible Presentation Victoria and Rico, The Galley Fridge is a Must Have... Plus the Freezer around the corner... Beautiful Set-up and Beautifully packaged the way any individual wants.. Thank You Both 👏🏼👏🏼
I don't think so - hawse pipes are those on ships that take the shanks of the bow anchors, and are thus really pipes. Maybe try "usefull little holes."

Really great boat for a couple. Offshore clearly knows their audience, and designed the boat accordingly. As always, a wonderful and enjoyable presentation by the two of you.
Hawse pipes in common parlance are for anchors. The line leads demonstrated by Vicky are commonly Fairleads or Chocks. There are two types of chocks which are ‘open chocks’ or ‘closed chocks’. Open chocks have no top so you can drop a line into it. Closed chocks are complete ovals and sometimes called Panama Chocks because in the Panama Canal when transiting the locks the lines led to the ‘mules’ often lead upwards and would jump out of a standard open chock so they closed them to prevent that. Having said all of that, my preferred usage is ‘fair lead’ My wife loves Champagne. I prefer a nice cold beer to chug. So we need to keep both in the fridge.
As you state a perfect couples boat. Especially love the traditional walnut interior alongside the contemporary white panels. It ticked all my boxes for a liveaboard, 100%. Listed prices also compares very well with Fleming, Marlow and Grand Banks. Another great find and tour guys. Thank you ! 🙏
I don't know the first thing about Yachts except for what I have learned from watching all of your videos. The closest I've been is on Lake Michigan in a 30 ft fishing boat. I absolutely love the idea of being a yacht owner. Living on board in the idea of being able to take off anytime to anywhere. I am sure that it's not all roses and wine. But, neither is being a landlubber. This is a very nice vessel
The most impressive engine room EVER ! Am I right Rico!! Some tank racks on the rear platform, an air compressor hidden in a corner of the engine room and let's do the great barrier reef. I'll show you guys my fav reefs! Giddyup! Lets go!
This is an amazing boat. I really love that they allow the buyer to pick out their electronics. The cabins feel like they are on a bigger boat, but the engine room and lazarette must have been brought in from the Tardis! Great tour as always.
As a naval sailor, Rico is correct. A hole through a solid bulwark designed for lines for berthing/towing are fairleads. A failead can be open or closed. Hawseholes specifically reference a hole for the anchor cable/chain/rope to run through the hawse (the part of the bow that is cut away for the hawshole). A hawsehole may be attached to a hawsepipe, which can run from the deck, through the hull and out the side of the bow. When you see an anchor hanging off the side of a tanker, its anchor cable runs through the hawse via the hawsehole and hawsepipe. When berthing, your berthing lines will pass from the wharf bollards, through the fairlead onto a cleat/bollard/capstan where they will be turned up.
At 2:25 you ask what that hole is called. Some might call it a hawsehole but those are typically found on the bow for the anchor chain. In my experience I would recognize that fitting on the aft as a "chock". At 12:15 you asked about the sink in the galley. It is a "farmhouse" sink. At 17:50 you asked champagne or beer... Beer, if the scotch is already gone. ;) Yet another great experience. I see so many try to do exactly this but it is exponentially better when people, like yourselves, share the experience. Simply due to the passion that you both bring. It is easy to see how much you enjoy this world and it is appreciated. Thank you for bringing us all along with you.
I’m getting quite addicted to your videos as you always seem so excited and happy like every boat is an adventure. I love the videos show casing your boat build. Something you don’t often get to see much how much goes into it❤
Great boat! Those openings in the transom are referred to as 'Hawseholes'. Back in the day, the heavy ropes or chains used on anchors or to tie ships to a dock or pier were called a hawse (A British term, I believe). I've said it before, I love how you guys explain how yachts work, not just listing the features.
Hey guys - what a lovely, unbelievably boat, with so much character and room to move you'd have no problem believing you're on a small ship! Love the overhangs , the pilot house and - of course - that totally unexpected, spacious engine room. Gracias mil!
This has been one of the funniest. The back and forth banter was charming so do that more often. Maybe have one sundowner before each video. Hope to have you on a charter, perhaps on your new boat one day. Till then, keep having fun. Oh, this also reflects well on the health of your marriage and relationship. All the love to you both.
Out of all the yachts I've seen on your channel I would say this is my favorite. Great design. Beautifully appointed. Love the lithium ion battery system and optional solar panels. That engine room is spectacular. Great tour guys!
On second thought, every yacht is has it's own personality and it's own set of "tastes". The fact that you guys are so thorough, even in the engine room and fly bridge and salon, and well, you know, everywhere else, makes it much more interesting and exciting, being that I am confident that you know what you are talking about. And that itself is worthy. Thank you for your excellent efforts.

Well laid out vessel. Interesting placements of some features but could get familiar with them quickly. Seems to be well constructed and finished, especially in the storage and machinery spaces.
Would love to see a series on owner maintenance upkeep, scheduled routine things that need to be monitored etc. Each episode could be a different topic/area.
I was surfing on you tube and came across one of your videos ( I'm not ever going to buy a yacht) and now I am a huge fan of your channel! You two are very entertaining and make the tours very homey and friendly! Look forward to watching more!

Wow a whole huge basement section for all the motors and stuff mechanical. So nice & clean.
I really like this yacht ! Many thoughtful things.😊
What a beautiful yacht! This is perfect as "entry-level" upgrade; well laid out, deluxe appointments, etc. I love it! Thanks for the tour!
Another great presentation!!!...Victoria as usual happy happy ❤😊
I’ve always had the fantasy of having a live aboard yacht in the Caribbean; and you guys do such a fantastic job with your tours. I need to hit the lottery 😎😎
