Another fact: Silent Hill is based on a real American town called CENTRALIA. It is an abandoned place due to the fire of a coal mine in 1962, and surprisingly it is still burning to this day. The coordinates of the place: 40°48′12″N 76°20′30″W.
Jesus Christ that almost got me crying. To have a character being a chaotic prankster (even though again, the "List of things Dr.Bright isn't allow to do at the Fundation" isn't canon, it's even said on said-list) is logical. UNWANTED immortality, and especially the one that Dr.Bright got -so with his consciousness trapped in a medallion that basically steals someone's body if they touch it, THAT HE WANT IT TO HAPPEN OR NOT - can do extreme bad damages on someone's psychee (and don't get me STARTED on his family's fate, that's a bunch of whole stack of traumas) Him having experienced Silent Hill would leave him completely unresponsive and a sobbing mess for normaly MONTHS- but I suppose the Fundation won't let that happen... Tbh this is pretty accurate, Silent Hill will never ever be able to match Dr Bright's curse, His immortality, when the day comes, everything on the universe will cease to exist but him. Think immortality is a gift? Think of that in the end of time.
This is one of the few crossovers I'd want to see more of; not Bright specifically; a BIG part of the Foundation dark side is the horrible things all the agents, and especially the ranking superiors, have to do in the name of the greater good.
When I was a hitchhiker I wound up in a town in northern California that I can only describe as "Silent Hill light". The thick all day fog, crazy drugged out people, random violence, broken roads to nowhere, and the smell of death. I won't name the place but if you ever wind up there take my advice, don't sleep in the abandoned trains. Seriously. Don't.
@@gregfreddy6691 north of Frisco, south of Humboldt, aliens, cannabis, and amphetamines. Tight in the valley of an abandoned generation sleeps the corpse of skunk train. Happy hunting.

I don't get why people make up stories. You literally said it's north of San Francisco and south of Humboldt. Humboldt is literally almost the northern most part of California and it's literally 6 hours away from SF. In between those two places there are literally a hundred towns. Humboldt is in the middle of nowhere and Frisco is a big city and in between are small towns and most of them have tweakers and abandoned trains. You literally were as vague as possible just to make up a fake story. Because you could not actually name the place you went
Here’s a scenario for the Anomatron: Could the SCP Foundation protect Earth and all of humanity from an early invasion by the Reapers from the Mass Effect series?
Yes because the Foundation has agents that work for the Systems Alliance Navy, said agents have connections to Commander Shepard. That being said, this information is classified so best you take the amnestics after you've read this comment. Failure to comply will result in you being assigned clean-up duty of 173's containment cell.
Just hit ‘em with the good old memetic kill agent, projected into space If that fails, use the orbital space cannons If that doesn’t work, shoot strange matter cirno at them. Sure, maybe it’ll start a chain reaction that destroys the Solar System, but the Reapers will be pretty fvcked
I'm suprised that bright didn't requisition a mechanised MTF with close air support for this one. Holy sh** did that game have me genuinely scared of going into über dark places at night... And looking back on those days now, I loved it. Of the two early horror series that were able to make me shit bricks out of genuine fear and confusion was Silent Hill and Resident Evil being a close second. Those were the good days❤️ 🥲
Ideas for future videos: *SCP 106 meets Laughing Jack* *Megatron and the decepticons meet the church of the broken god* *SCP 343 vs. The Batman Who Laughs.* *The Purple Guy becomes an 0-5 councilman. (what do you mean "how?")* *The Foundation survives the Tripod invasion (War of the worlds)*
I love these vids but also would like to get back to the scp objects you haven't coverd yet on the channel seeing these mixed with flims and villains and hero's is good but I prefer when it's just learning about a object thanks for all the hard work 👍
Also don't want to do all the SCPs and run out, then they'll be only crossovers. Starting to ween in other stuff to keep more SCPs is probably a good idea for longevity, even if there are so many SCPs.
Despite Dr. Bright's antics, he is a very sympathetic person. Day 417 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.
"You did this to him," Says the figment that represents the man that had his son bring his daughter back to life and then proceeded to ignore said son as he put every effort into getting his daughter out of containment. 19:48 "Leaving him there alone, with the Hell that was his thoughts" That line was deep, your mind can really be your worst enemy, specially in a situation like this, I think if a younger Dr Bright without the amulet, having a experience like this would fall into complete despair or madness

I just want to point out that any sentient being kills to live. I feel so sorry for Dr. Bright now 🥺 I just wanna give him hug and tell him it’s gonna be okay. Also, despite what some people might think Dr. Bright isn’t evil or a bad person. Yeah he has his tricks, pranks and jokes and he’s too curious for his own good but none of it is done with true malicious intent. Also I feel like he acts without thinking about others sometimes, but it’s not that he’s selfish or doesn’t care about others It truly just doesn’t cross his mind. He doesn’t do it on purpose. Yeah he likes to play with fire and he doesn’t always fully think about the consequences, but he doesn’t purposely put someone in serious danger. Unless he’s about to die and needs to kill someone to keep living, but thats different because it’s for survival and not harming someone for pleasure or out of anger. (If you have anything that might prove otherwise I will listen to what you have to say. This is just my opinion so far on what I’ve read and seen.)
17:47 Thing that doesn’t make sense is Pyramid Head is supposed to be exclusively the demon for James Sunderland, but then became so iconic they ended up slapping it everywhere.
At least some parts of the repressions were bringed to the surface in order to be integrated. A place of wanderings into the unknown of the one's subconscious, those memories are good in a way, it cleanses any additional unecessary attachments about the things that happened and need to be analyzed and then polarized. Autumn brings death to old cycles, what good season for integration.
well I guess it's safe to say part of the anomalous activity there is passing out and having a really bad case of a realistic nightmare for no reason on the list
No, that's just what happens when SCP-999 comes in contact with caffeine, especially when it's a high amount of the drug. Did I mention caffeine is a drug?
I wish it was turn into a short story in the SCP Wiki of Dr. Jack Bright going to Silent Hill itself (that should be in the wiki as a SCP) that bright has to go through the town itself but as always that not only Silent Hill is a eldritch place but a place to go though your own guilt, anger, confusion, dark thoughts, trauma, and worst fears that I’m positive that Jack Bright will be saddened by what he did. As he goes through that place of it describe of great potential of a great crossover story series in the video.
A thought. Would SRAs, placed around the town when it's normal, prevent it from transitioning into the monstrous version? I don't know a whole lot about how Silent Hill works so I'm legitimately curious.
I dont know anything but silent hills either, but considering dr bright was knocked out and it all happened in his subconscious, i would doubt reality bending is the problem here
It's a metaphysical plane that causes guilt accumulated over life to be manifest in living form , it takes your darkness and makes creatures that symbolizes your worse aspects. There are three levels of the town: the actual town, the foggy purgatory and the otherworld (your mental hell made manifest)
Holy shit you should actually post this on the SCP website (though might have to make some alterations because copyright, idk) 'cause this is amazing! Damn, what an epic crossover! Also can you imagine 963 on Pyramid Head? Fuck it, the Foundation would be doomed lol. Goddammit, poor Elias. 😭This legit had me on the edge of my seat, like I was legit scared it was so well-written, well done! Ah man, now I'm wishing for a sequel though where poor Eli gets the care and comfort he deserves after such a harrowing event. I'm half-tempted to write a sequel to this myself lol.
Like first bright pulls a prank so bad the O5 has to show up. Then Clef shows up with a shotgun and his picture of shy guy. He uses the picture on the MTF guys and then heads up the stairs to the coffee room, types in “cup of council #,” then when the 05 council shows up there, he threatens to drain their fluids if they don’t do what he wants.
I think to get out you have to acknowledge and confront your trauma mentally. But you also have to kill the "main" trauma creature physically afterwards. My theory is the town leaves weapons for you on purpose to give you a fighting chance to do this.
it would be cool if they released a video of a foundation researcher (maybe dr. bright) finding themselves going to texas to investigate mysterious disappearances only to walk into the sawyer family home (from TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) and have to fight off the phycopathic family while trying to escape the house (i know they're not anomalous but i thought it would be cool to see leather face (bubba) the hitchhiker (nubbins) and the cook (Drayton) try to tackle fighting foundation operatives just a thought.
This was a good take, but honestly the pyramid head kinda feels forced (though I get the meaning behind it is Bright's desire to be 'punished' for everything). Probably a better idea would be to have your own spin of pyramid head, or an anomaly made up of several SCPs that he caused pain (so long deadly arms of SCP 096, a mutated face with the comination of both SCP 682 and 049, and maybe even the sickingly sweet smell that is a distorted aroma from SCP 999). Him turning to Able was a good idea, but maybe instead this 'tormenter of justice' could have used Abel's blade instead of the great knife (which was symbolic of Angela's knife and his idea of punishing himself via suicide).
Silent Hill primarily feeds off of a person's guilt. Dr. Bright, despite the demeanor he wears actually suffers from a lot of guilt, anger and confusion... meaning the town would have plenty of ammo to use against him.
Then he will go through his own definition of hell on earth.

Jesus Christ that almost got me crying.
Poor Jack x(
I just want to say cause I've seen a lot of people saying that Jack was "too chaotic and pransker": The one who wrote his character did a good job about this. Dark humour have always been used as a stress reliever, an escape of a situation and so on.
To have a character being a chaotic prankster (even though again, the "List of things Dr.Bright isn't allow to do at the Fundation" isn't canon, it's even said on said-list) is logical.
UNWANTED immortality, and especially the one that Dr.Bright got -so with his consciousness trapped in a medallion that basically steals someone's body if they touch it, THAT HE WANT IT TO HAPPEN OR NOT - can do extreme bad damages on someone's psychee (and don't get me STARTED on his family's fate, that's a bunch of whole stack of traumas)
Him having experienced Silent Hill would leave him completely unresponsive and a sobbing mess for normaly MONTHS- but I suppose the Fundation won't let that happen... I hope?-
That was a lot of rambling just for saying: the characterization is correct psychologicaly speaking, I really liked that video and I want to give Jack Bright a hug and bring 999 to help him, despite the fact that it was the reason why he got send here in the first place.
It was Dr.Bright’s father that made the little brother incapable of feeling pain.
Tbh this is pretty accurate, Silent Hill will never ever be able to match Dr Bright's curse, His immortality, when the day comes, everything on the universe will cease to exist but him.
Think immortality is a gift? Think of that in the end of time.
Since this is a bit of a trend now on this channel, how about Dr.Clef facing off zombies on Racoon City

I don't get why people make up stories. You literally said it's north of San Francisco and south of Humboldt. Humboldt is literally almost the northern most part of California and it's literally 6 hours away from SF. In between those two places there are literally a hundred towns. Yes because the Foundation has agents that work for the Systems Alliance Navy, said agents have connections to Commander Shepard.

But fr tho I'm a sucker for making characters face their trauma this was AWESOME, painful but awesome

I dont know anything but silent hills either, but considering dr bright was knocked out and it all happened in his subconscious, i would doubt reality bending is the problem here
Heck that's smart. Might be thinking of resident evil but I think silent hill is a virus
It's a metaphysical plane that causes guilt accumulated over life to be manifest in living form , it takes your darkness and makes creatures that symbolizes your worse aspects. ya i doubt Jack is getting out of Silent Hill any time soon given that it feeds of a person's psychological trauma and he has plenty to spare

But you also have to kill the "main" trauma creature physically afterwards.

The ending would of been better if Jack found the secret room of the dog.
