- There exists a list of things Dr Jack Bright is not allowed to do at the foundation. This video includes a compilation of those things.
Dr Bright rose to the top of his field in bioengineering and abnormal genetics. DrBright got recruited by the Foundation when they picked up his younger brother, SCP 590. Given SCP 963 to work with. Jack Bright Died. Came back. Has since been instrumental in work with several SCPs, and assisted in the refinement of many more. Dr. Jack Bright also answers to Doc , Dr. J , or "Oh god no."

oh he his, actually one of scp I forgot the number is a camera who show the true desired of people. In bright case, it's show a graveyard with a grave with the epitaph "Dr.bright can finally rest in peace"

I love the fact Dr.Bright is basically an overgrown immortal child the foundation has to babysit.
But somehow I get the impression that if it wasn't for the effects of that amulet, Dr. Bright wouldn't need to be babysat by the SCP, merely a normal, non-anomalous insane asylum could do the job.

I love that they had to dedicate an entire mobile task force to stopping his antics(yes it’s for the whole Bright family due to their anomalous capabilities but it’s still funny)

Dr. Bright is a mad, yet brilliant researcher. I can't help but feel like if his skills weren't required, they'd just put the medallion into containment. Not like the guy would be going anywhere lol. But alas, his services are very much a necessity and his shenanigans have just become a part of dealing with him. Bright is cursed with eternal life and knowing that he will outlive everyone is probably why he is such a mischievous person.
That, and the numerous deaths have probably warped his psyche a little.
Plus, he had to be George W. Bush, that would make anyone insane.
Dr Bright is so funny to me cuz he's like actually a legitimate genius, just a really smart guy.

I think Dr Bright is another one of my favorite SCP’s just because of what he’s not aloud to do
Dr Bright is not allowed to put hostile entities in SCP-914 on the settings 1:1, Fine, or Very Fine.
This rule came as a result of various messages from different Universes, where alternate SCP foundations have suffered numerous XK-class End of the world Scenarios with few survivors, or Disruption class scenarios, reality shift scenarios, and dominance shift scenarios. All due to their Dr Brights conducting unauthorised tests with SCP-914.
Anomalies which are forbidden to be used with SCP-914 under all circumstances include (but are not limited to):
SCP-173, SCP-096, SCP-682, SCP-035, SCP-106, etc.
i feel like the foundation is paying more to clean up after bright than it is to repair 682’s constant destructive rampages
You might as well say SCP-689 is Doctor Bright's twin. They have a lot in common like they both can't die, and they both seem to have an infinity list. One can't seam to die and it doesn't matter what you throw at it. And the other can't seem to stay out of trouble. Mybe they are connected in someway, and they don't know it yet.And they both work together to make more problems for the foundation.

Dr. Bright's medallion and 682.
Alright so, you know about how nobody can kill the lizard. And you know how Bright's medallion can basically make anyone comatose if it touches you but does not stay in contact with you for a whole month?
Here's the idea: take the lizard, distract it, bump it slightly with the medallion. The lizard doesn't become Bright but also becomes brain dead
One of the things he isn't allowed to do is use the medallion on 682. No, that isn't a joke, it's on the actual list of things he can't do.

He's useful for body swapping like the time he needed to help with the 4444 thing. And it worked so I think of any anomaly like that comes they may need him to body swap to something to help out and that's the only reason they haven't yet. Because I know they can kick him out because of some anomaly's they have that can do that. So I think that's why they still keep him there.
