Keep Planting!
The mites pretty much killed my poppies this summer. So bad. I WILL use this stuff next time The paintbrush idea is brilliant! 👍
Best of luck with it. Spider mites can be a real pain in the neck!
@@RootsReady For sure! Ugh!
Did this work? Did you have to apply the DE again? Just found your channel and subbed!
Thanks for watching! Yes it did. I would suggest you watch out as the DE can be a little messy
Do you just leave the powder on? Does it interfere with the plant's ability to get light?
After applying the powder, I gave the plant a little shake so there was only a thin layer on the leaves
@@RootsReady Thank you!
I’m dealing with spider mites and I have put a my infected plants in a greenhouse and drowned them with DE. How long did you leave it on ur own plant for?? I have no idea how long to leave them in there like that..
I left mine on for about a month, however it was a light dusting that still allowed light to reach the plant. How long have you had yours on for?
@@RootsReady I just put it on them on Saturday. I am so tired of these spider mites 😂😂😂 I have tried all sprays and nothing really works well for me. Turned to DE. I will leave them in there for a month.
@@FearLess_SunKissedCaramel how did it turn out?
Stinky spider mites. Plant pest are so annoying!
They are just the worst! This is my first time dealing with them and I hope it's the last
@@RootsReady Lo and behold, I started a video on a new plant and I think it is either spider mites or a regular spider. I believe it is a regular spider only b/c of the webbing. crossing fingers
@ I'll keep my fingers crossed also.
