This show has a pretty dark opening, and I was wondering why the main character died after only episode 1, but the twist was pretty interesting.

Gotta be honest, this was just the normal first episode with a handful of jokes tossed in. But regardless, the “your basically china in a bull shop” joke made the rest of the episode worth it. That was pure gold

Solo leveling puts off so much SAO-esque energy, there's a good chance that this abridged adaption can even improve on the source material. I have high hopes for this one!

ok, the one complaint I have with Solo Leveling Proper, was that everyone kept trying to get him to stop hunting... when it's the best paying job.... and his mom is in the hospital... I mean yeah his life is at more risk than the rest of them, but like.... his mother.... is comatose... he has a sister.... who has dreams and aspirations... and NOBODY ELSE can handle those bills for them.... let alone is WILLING to do so.... which makes EVERYONE ELSE the worst person ever...

@ they never asked either. You’d think that a decent enough person would eventually ask why he keeps putting himself at risk like this. Humble as he is, it wouldn’t take very long for him to get tired of being asked the same question all the time, especially in the Double Dungeon incident that information about his motivations would’ve most likely given people a reason to stay instead of ditching him. If this guy is willing to sacrifice himself for this “test” surely others would follow suit with him being so sure of himself despite the risk

I love watching your work. I do however believe most abridged work that usually takes place is funnier and done almost completely different from a majority of the original wording. Still, good job with the voice acting and overall setup. Lots of progress can still take place. Take your time and do a great job.
