- We had a huge rain and the draining lake is almost filled back up! It won't last too long but we are going to try to enjoy it while it lasts!

Should line your dock with fence boards and create a safe area for the kids and a nice fire pit area on the dock !

I enjoy watching you and your family. Yes, I would like to see some duck hunting adventures. I'm an old flat lander from the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles where we hunt small shallow lakes. Yes, I would like to see you try your hand a some catfish fishing along the spillways and the old creeks.

Thanks! I decided to leave the band on the duck and take it to the taxidermist. I’ve never mounted one before so I figured this would be a great first one!

God is showing them he doesn't want the lake to be empty. He wanted it to be filled they way it's suppose to be. I'm happy you guys have water in the lake.
That looks awesome seeing water in the lake. But I can't help but wonder that every time it does that it just delays the the project even more. Granted it does give surviving fish another chance and wildlife a lil more of an escape for the mean time. Glad yall are enjoying it while it last. Gonna suck when it goes back down again.
It's going to be very interesting to see how they intend on getting heavy equipment on that lake bed. Even after they allow it to "dry up and compact", it will still be way to soft for equipment. It's going to be interesting to see what the spring rains bring for lake conway. Maybe they should of left the lake filled and just did what they wanted to a different way.

Monsoon is about right, and a 91% chance of more rain on Saturday! At my house, our back yard is so soaked, looks like it's competing with the lake! I know it won't last, but I'm going to find a place to fish tomorrow, too! I wish it could start filling up for real, but we do need a new spillway. Y'all are so much fun to watch!

We’re kinda in the same boat with our local lakes. Not one but 2 that we fished all last year… 😭They drained one this summer. To build a trail around it. And put in a beach. And another to repair a under water road around it 😭
