    bro i was on my yoga mat sobbing cause I ate like 6 doughnuts cause I was on my period, and just felt so bloated and sick of my self. But Adriene just telling me to basically chill out and be grateful in the beginning of the video really helped. THANK YOUUUUUUUU

      similar here, i had KFC for dinner (didn’t finish it because i felt so guilty as i know how unhealthy it is) found this video and she helped me so much for telling me it’s okay and to be grateful for the food we have!! i hope you are doing okay! 🤍

      I lost my period because I don’t eat breakfast or lunch than binge at night 💀 I really miss my period and I’m trying to get it back. I know this might sound weird but, cherish your period!!

      Or, basically, there's no excuse NOT to do yoga!
      I struggle with my weight AND a family with special needs, and STILL do yoga at least once, most of the time twice a day!!
      Last week, I did yoga 14x, and am the most proud of myself I've ever been, physically/health speaking.
      I'm stronger, thanks to Adriene ❣️

    Ahhh my eternal battle!! Eat too much-complain why I didn't stop when I needed to-feel awful and think I did my body the worst thing possible-accept it and move on. I actually read that we don't get bloated by over eating but by the anxiety hormones released when we stress about it, so instead we should stay calm, accept what happened, stretch a bit to ease our overworked machine and get things moving and commit to becoming more mindful in our future everyday activities, such as eating and just listen to our body.. Thank you Adriene once again!!!

      You're right about not stressing too much, but I have to tell you that the stress hormones part is not true. You feel full because the stomach is actually full and is sending messages to the brain that you need to stop eating. If that mechanism didn't work, you would never feel satisfied and you would keep eating until your stomach actually rips.

      It's totally logical, but I 'm referring to the bloating afterwards, not by the time we have overeaten, when by definition we have eaten more than our capacity, so we feel and look full.. I 'm talking about afterwards, that the stress hormones, when we worry about having eaten too much, cause bloating even when we have already digested the food. Stress causes bloating, that's for sure, so it is more likely to get bloated by stress than by the food itself and that's why we may be bloated for even 1-2 days after the over-eating, while we think we have gained weight and so we stress more about it and so on..

    i started crying at the end of this video. i've never tried yoga before and i'm pretty sure i did a lot of the poses wrong but the way you spoke and the constant reassurance you gave me made me so emotional and just. happy. it's been a tough few months, both physically and mentally. i'm glad to have felt relieved even for just a few minutes. i haven't smiled out of genuine happiness and satisfaction in a while. thank you so much :)

      Aw you're so precious... I hope you're feeling better. I have experienced those feelings as well. I love yoga! It isn't only the fast-paced or difficult poses. Yoga can be very gentle and slow and good for taking some time for yourself, whether you need to stretch or relax, breathe and calm your mind or body, or if you do want a more difficult challenge. You are so loved even if you don't always know it or feel it

    Apparently this helps cats with digestive issues too! My cats are hiding a lot and not using the litterbox much while struggling with a new pet family member. One of the cats came out of hiding to sit with me on the mat and then use the litterbox while I was doing this practice. Adriene's familiar voice is soothing to him. Thank you Adriene!

    I actually did NOT overeat- I just had a bad stomach ache. Something made me think Yoga would help and I clicked on the video. At first I thought- this isn't what I need- but as it turns out it was exactly what I need. Sincerely feeling a lot better right now. Thank you.

    So many years of my life were taken over by eating disorders, including binge eating disorder. These days I keep my body healthy and happy most of the time, but do slip up occasionally.     I’m currently on my weight loss journey (24 pounds down so far!) and today I had my first cheat day since forever and I felt so guilty about it and this video definitely calmed me down. I’m grateful that I’ve learned to adopt a healthier lifestyle but I don’t want to develop a negative mindset where I think one huge meal will make me gain all of my weight back. Thank you so much for helping me reach my zen mode!

      Glad to read this. I am on a now life long weight loss and sustaining journey-ate fast food at Cane’s tonight due to a late dinner and not a lot of options. Punishment started on the ride home (over an hour)…now trying to help the digestive system figure out what is going on!

    This helped a lot. Squeezed a much needed burp out of me. Gosh, I was full and tight to the point I was starting to feel delirious, pacing around and heaving like a weirdo. Now I can go to sleep with a bit more ease. Thank you, Adriene.

    update day 26. happy thanksgiving everybody! i am thankful for all of you! i am extremely full and tired. i'm doing this about four hours after The Big Meal, so i managed to get a little energy back. (it's now 11:45pm! i don't really need energy, oh well) this was a really great practice and i think a good one to tuck in your pocket when you feel you ought to do yoga but don't FEEL LIKE IT. good stretches. thank you Adriene, and thank you to everyone else, for being here.

    I felt like coming back to this one again, even though I had swapped it out and done it earlier on the calendar. It felt appropriate then, and it feels so now although rather than balancing out on the day of a medical exam, I practiced the sequence to balance out being away from everyone yet again on a holiday, today being Thanksgiving Day in the USA.
    Nourish day 25. 417 days in a row.

      I also was thinking about you as I remember you telling me you were away from your daughter (?). I'm from the UK so no thanksgiving holiday here but I hope everyone who does celebrate it had an awesome day and are reunited with their loved ones soon if they are apart from them. Holiday or not I'm thankful every day that I live so close to my daughter and grandaughter and that we have such a close relationship ❤

    Treasure! This is what you are Adriene! While I couldn't even move due to stomach cramps caused by overeating, I definitely recovered after this 12-minute flow. You are a miracle! In addition to these, I can feel your sincerity. You have very sincere, peaceful and "from-the-heart" attitudes (unlike many youtube channel owners). I hope this continues like this. Stay with 2G's!     I’m not a yoga person, I’m not interested, I’ve never tried it. In the beginning I was getting kinda confused cause I didn’t know the terms, I just wanted to feel less full 😆. But in a little bit I started to understand, I like the way you were describing the poses, it was very easy for me. I also felt genuinely relaxed. Great video I might be getting a bit more into yoga now!

    Been struggling a lot with this recent holiday season by feeling a lot of guilt about overeating and being harsh about my belly bloat. I took some time last night to write about self love and loving my body no matter what and then woke up today to an amazing love letter and a short and sweet practice that helped soothe my body!     Thanks Adriene! I ate too much... woke up at 03:30 AM with bloated and unfomfortable stomach, and still sleepy... Although this pose is helping for sure, you helped too by reminding me to be grateful and graceful! I got angry with myself for overeating which is not good, I quickly forgive and apologize to myself, it is better now!!!

    I've been doing this routine for the past 6 years, whether it's after holiday/celebratory feasting, days where I'm just a bit congested, or days where I have been eating my feelings away. It shifts my feelings and heart as well as being a lovely lil internal massage, this video has helped me through so much!
    Also suitable to do on a bed or any surface with very little space, which is such a win if staying over at friends or families or even just if you are low on space.

    I have come back to this video time and time again over the past 2 years. I have LBS (the opposite of IBS) and deal with chronic constipation. I have to very carefully keep track of what I eat, stay hydrated and be consistent, but every so often I get a really difficult episode that just breaks me psychologically. (If that sounds dramatic, the first time I did this video to try and help, I was subsequently hospitalized for 3 days.) Although the video isn't exactly pertaining to my situation, Adriene's comforting voice carries me through none-the-less. It's in those moments where all I want to do is curl up in a ball and stay in bed, that is when my body needs the power of movement and pranayama to reset. I wish I wasn't always lead to this video in a state emergency, but it's comforting to know that this video exists to support me and I can always come back to it. I also have it downloaded so I can access if for any reason I don't have WiFi.

    I have been doing Yoga with Adriene since the beginning of COVID (Home) I did 4 months EVERYDAY then switched to several days a week. This year I did 90 straight days, then went back to several days/week. Recovering now from COVID and then had diverticulitis attack. The “yoga for digestion” was magical! No symptoms later in day, and I was MISERABLE before. Breathing into my belly is something I can do during the day too. My husband also says he can tell when I don’t “do yoga”. Thanks Adriene!

    Hey Adrienne, I'd just like to say that your videos have always helped me out but none more than this one right now. I've been having some digestion issues for about a week (inciting incident), and my high anxiety has been making the stomach cramping and irritation of it all even worse. Your gentle speaking and soothing voice has helped me calm down and in turn calm my stomach down. This video was a twofer for me, just now.
