I’ve got an R5C it’s a great camera with some limitations, but I knew what I was getting into and I think it’s fantastic. I wanted a C70 for a while but needed a camera that did stills. The R5C was the perfect middle ground. It’s not for everyone but works great for me.
Dude your camera can shoot All-intra 4k 120p internally.. the only reason we started using external recorders was because our cameras didn't have the hardware to do it internally. You only need a field monitor not a recorder. Have a look at the Portkeys BM5 :)
No, the r5c is what YOU thought the r5 was. I knew exactly what the r5 was which is why I bought it. Canon told us about the limited video recording issues. Did you not follow that? You can’t rewrite history now. I realize you do video, but a lot of people use the r5 who never do video (i do, but I mostly do stills).

R5 owners? I have two r5s, but I’m not getting an r5c. I don’t need it. I’m sure it is nice though.
