How do u know which solonoid is which.
Hey there! Amazing video. I do have a question, my ranger is giving me alot of shifting issues and the O/d light is flashing. I believe the Solenoid is the problem. How do you know which one to replace and why didn't you replace all four?
Does anyone ever get a response from your comments. Sure need some answeers
Good video, I'm in the process to do this as well. My question is why replace both. I would do so. But what's the difference between the two. Thanks for the instructional video

How do you know witch one to replace?
Hey thanks Loving it big guy great video but I him how do know which one to change .Are the parts the same
These ranger/explorer transmissions are notorious for blowing valve body gaskets on one of the edges. Even if its not blown when the pan is off use an INCH pound torque wrench to 100 INCH pounds. The bolts are likely to loosen after several years. There are diagrams of the torque sequence.
And some said something to me aabout a direct clutch in an automatic transmission that shifts #4
