    I was just looking for exercises to stimulate the knee ligaments! Thanks! Additionally: I combined these exercises with a vibration platform. I am now checking the effects. First impressions are positive...

    Nice vid!! , whats your opinion to wall squats as you can lean back and get the same angle at the knee and the hips ? Maybe some isometrics there in the early stage of the rehab ?

    Do you ever combine the Spanish Squat with Blood Flow Restriction Therapy? Do you ever stand on a Bosu ball or Core Tex Retrainer once you have mastered the Spanish Squat on the floor?

    Thanks for your video. It's very educational. And, as you said, that's not usual.
    Please, could you tell me what you know about the rehab of the chondromalacy? Have you got any other video about that? Thanks again.

    Would you get the same effect if you used a weight in front of you as a counter balance so you can lean back?

    • @StrengthResurgence
      @StrengthResurgence  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It would perhaps change things a bit, but I think the biggest limiting factor will be your arms/upper body becoming tired from holding onto the weight. You can always try it though, and determine if it works for you or not. Stay strong! 💪

      I forgot to put the link in the description but have done so now. No pressure to use the link though - only if you’d like. Knee tendon issues are super common and super stubborn, so don’t give up! Wishing you all the best! Stay strong! 💪

    Would this be safe and appropriate for mild meniscus tear rehab?

      It seems as if it will irritate even more than ordinary squatting. Who knows

    Great video, love my Spanish squats as warmups on lower body workout days

      Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, they are fantastic for warmups and my knees always feel better on squat/lower-body sessions when I’ve banged out a set or two of Spanish Squats for warm ups. Stay strong! 💪

    Jim, I have bands so I can perform this Spanish squat at home. I also have a slant board which I use daily. Suffering left knee tendonosis but I can back squat and play tennis and box jump 30 inches. So Spanish squat vs slant board, which do you favor and how do you decide?

    • @StrengthResurgence
      @StrengthResurgence  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is a great question to ask. Slant board will further bias the lower quadriceps, forcing the common quad tendon (and thus, patellar tendon) to work a bit harder (the greater the slant, the more it will challenge them). Ultimately, I would play around with it to see what works best for you (flat footed vs. small incline vs. larger incline). All three will likely be effective, and you may have some days where it feels better to opt for one variation over the other, so I wouldn’t worry so much about which one to pick vs. just ensuring you get them done, and on a regular basis too. Sometimes it’s really helpful to dig down into the weeds, other times it’s better just to experiment to find what works best for your body while keeping the big picture in mind. Either way, if you opt for slant board, start with a smaller angle/less foot on the board and increase the angle as time goes on/as you see fit. That’s my .02 on the matter, anyways. Hope this helps! Stay strong! 💪

      @@StrengthResurgence perfect. It's kind of "D. All of the above" situation. I should also mentioned I bought a sled and plates and do backwards sled pulls few times a week across the highschool parking lot. My knee and quad like this as well. Fantastic content and channel. Been sharing your videos with my group(s).
