Can you guys do a pec minor/major strain protocol please🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾? I would really enjoy it been dealing w/ it for months going to PT and it hasn’t got better. I know it’s not a rupture I can do a lot just weakness and nagging irritation. I looked through your videos and couldn’t find anything

Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated, I decided to go for a jog and feel like I may not have tore these muscles/ligaments but I definitely injured them in some way. I've exercising regularly but I never built up to the jog and now i'm here. This injury made me wanna look up treatments cause I wanna get back into my cardio but can't even do jumping jacks now, (at least not without pain anymore) and just I want it back. Out of these exercises which would you say is easiest to implement on a busy workout schedule?

The video plus blog post makes me feel like I'm stealing from you guys. I'm a soldier, and recently injured my right knee. A friend of mine (Licensed Physical Therapist) recommended your channel as he said "[E3 Rehab] are the only guys I would trust. The information and rehab progression laid out in the video is invaluable. Thankfully I am quite familiar with all the exercises as I have used them with clients (Certified Personal Trainer); but I have been blessed to never need to use them for rehab purposes (until now). I am indescribably grateful for the knowledge you put forth in the video and blog post, and fully intend to utilize it to the highest possible degree to return to training and continue in my pursuit of my career goals in the Army. Once again, thank you. And God Bless.🇺🇸

I play soccer and I watched your hamstring rehab video 3 months ago to recover from back to back hamstring strains. I did everything you said to recover and have strengthened both hamstrings! No more hamstring injuries. I am now back because of a big late tackle knock to my MCL yesterday. Your content is amazing and has helped me recover twice already.

Thank you! I have a grade 2 MCL sprain and I used/ am using your protocol. The information is clear and comprehensive and I feel empowered to take care of myself. The progressions are well put together and for me it's been more effective than going to PT and just working out really hard. I did that once and my knee was sore for a week. With this program I feel confident pushing myself and then backing off when I went too far.
I train in martial arts and have been on the mat the whole time, varying my training etc. When I go through periods when I feel like it will never heal I think of something one of my training partners told me, assess your healing time by your peers not by anything the doctor or online tells you. I appreciate the up to date information as well, it's hard to find the information and you won't get that from your doctor. One thing that has helped me on top of these recommendations is self-massage of the calves, and quads as well as feet. It's usually the case that when one part of your body is hurt it puts a strain on the rest.
Thanks again, I recommend your site to everyone!

Thank you for this great video. A few years ago, I was walking my rottweiler and she wanted to go left (our usual route) when I wanted to go right. She plowed into my knee. After several weeks of therapy, I was fine and never any other problems. Fast forward to about a month ago and I have no idea what I did, but got up one morning and could barely walk. It's definitely my MCL and I've been doing minor things for it, but it's been going back and forth - I'll feel fine for a couple days then terrible again. I can't find my therapy printouts. Your video is the best thing I've found so far. Can't wait to get started on everything you're teaching us here.

THIS IS A COMPLETE OVERVIEW AND SET OF EXERCISES FOR HEELING - FROM REDUCING PAIN UP TO LATER STRENGTHENING!... DON'T BE OVER-WHELMED... START AT SIMPLE AND WORK UP!!! Doctors just told me "You're getting old" & gave me no heeling advice, just take pills... pain decreased but still lasted a year and is annoying. These exercises will help!!!!!!!

I've luckily been able to diagnose all the injuries I've ever had. I just start searching charts for where pain is and what may cause it. The descriptions are fairly easy to line up with my symptoms. I was foil surfing and was gonna twist and crank a turn. Someone was going for a wave and I stomped on my front foot to force a crash and bail out of it. The twisting motion and bending my knee most likely caused a mcl sprain. This video is awesome for helping relieve some pain.
But obviously the help from medical professionals is always best as they can do diagnosis and treatment (supposedly). I've repeatedly had to tell medical they are wrong or that their treatment is useless. (I had a swollen bursal sac and they told me to stretch and take ibuprofen) Stretching would possibly burst the sac. Ibuprofen does nothing. I did research on the internet and went to a different doctor and they gave me arthritis cream.
It can take a whole day to get treatment with military healthcare. But with this video, I've got some solid treatment options from the comfort of my desk.

Plastic body had a small chip when th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS I opened from box- would have sent back but it works well- using for warming up before exercising from full knee replacement- also use several times during day to keep movement easy. Sturdy, easy to use, easy to assemble (instructions didn’t match but easy to put together). Getting the same movement as the warm up bike at PT. Would suggest to order before surgery so you have it home ready to use when you can!!! Doesn’t take up a lot of space-not heavy so easy to move- not using for arms but I think it would work just as well

The best complete video on MCL tear. Mine was a complete tear in FEB 2023. Get your knee scanned by MRI to know the severity (its worth the money). Once you get your specialists opinion start the rehab program. These excersises and the progression makes so much sense as my program from a physiotherapist is very similar. This is what I am doing and after just 2 weeks of the early stage, I see a huge difference. Very Good video! Thanks! Keep at it folks! Don't give up!

As in a surgery or just the physio was enough?

@@yashpadia1215 Two possible tears 1. upper femur (no surgery and physio) 2. Tibia (surgery and physio). Beginning was swelling and any side movement was painful for 1full month. The second month was putting some pressure and getting back mobility because my knee wouldnt flex and unflex completely. Now im walking with a hinged knee brace and im at 50% there to finding my initial condition. 6 month process and I beleive it now!

I had got MCL tear my doctor said. I had now lost 3cm of my thigh gorth due to knee immobilization now i can walk but my pace has gone and little limping is there ..after changing brace this was my 2 nd month of recovery. By the time i had taken MRI but there is no issues rather than low grade injury of meniscus.😊 I want to be back to my old life to be socialized and all. Wish me luck❤

I did flooring for almost a year, ended up quiting bc of this mcl injury, flooring is not it, unless you don't care about your knees l, stay away from flooring, worse trade I've ever done, and I am a very fit person, very healthy and active, flooring has taken that from me. But I am getting it back over time it's been three months and I'm just now finding out this is my issue so hopefully I'll be back at it soon. I have pain whenever I do anything that requires bending the knee or putting weight on it

    This was pretty good.
Not all injuries are sports related. Injuries happen during work too. Sometimes suddenly and inexplicably.
Getting back to work or normal, comfortable mobility is more urgent than return to play ( yes, some sports are work for the professional athletes out there. I get it)
The video didn't identify the joint subject to rehab. I couldn't tell if you were treating the left or right knee and which knee should be where and how it should move. You could just do both on spec I guess but for focused rehab that's confusing.
I'll pass this on to my personal trainer for review and possible integration to my routine.
It's the sudden onset of pain that's worse. Totally normal, active and pain free then wham ..limping. Still trying to find the trigger.

i’m a soccer player and 27 y/o. i just started playing again after 6 years. been going to the gym for a bit and haven’t had any pain. as soon as i started running i had immediate pain on the inside of both knees and ankles. they just couldn’t take the impact of running (especially sprinting) it makes me run on my heels and i’m incredibly slow now. i only have pain when i run. i can still do leg day and walk around with no problem. not sure what my issue is

Tendons and ligaments have strength to match your most demanding activity, and take weeks to catch up to higher demands because they receive less blood flow and beef up more slowly than muscle. After you stopped playing, your ligaments chilled out to match your most demanding activity (whatever that was, possibly just walking?), but now that you asked much more of them again (running and single leg bearing) they needed time to catch up in strength.
I know your comment is old but I hope you’re doing okay ❤

I had knee pain and didn't know why. I went to my doctor and it took two months because he wasn't available. I finally saw another doctor in the same practice and he claimed it was sciatica without even examining me. Wasted another month with PT for sciatica. Finally saw a nurse practitioner and she got me x-rays and ultrasound, which showed the torn MCL and torn meniscus. They finally started me on PT for the knee injuries 5 months after I first went to them. In the meantime I've got to the stage where my walking is awkward and my legs are embarassingly weak. If you think there is something wrong, seek out an orthopedic specialist immediately.

All it took was a single game of football (soccer) in the rain on wet grass without proper shoes... :/
Gladly my injury isn't too severe (grade 1 / 2) and I can still walk normally but running or squating definitely causes pain in my knees at the moment. It's been a bit more than a week since the event I'm now starting with the early-stage exercises. Thank you @E3 Rehab for making these videos!
I wish all of you a good recovery.

So it sounds like my injury is a grade 1/2… I can walk with no limp only feeling it slightly. I can squat and lunge with weight no problem, in fact it always feels better after leg day. I feel it when I squat down completely, with glutes against calves. Some days are worse than others, but it can be a bit uncomfortable straightening the leg… Thanks for the video, I will incorporate some of these exercises that I am not already doing 👍🏻
