I love Turin's professionalism and enthusiasm on the cast. I'm also glad he took some time to explain some of the intricacies of the battles for new players. Balance finally feels in a decent place except for that one faction that spams everyone's TH-cam channels.

Awesome tournament. The unsummon mechanic is too immersion breaking in my opinion. It doesn't make any sense that units just disappear into thin air on the battlefield. It's part of the fun, to have 5 bloody straggling artillery crewmen charge in at the end of a battle to seize the day!
Strong agree. Being able to pull certain units out of the fight is potentially *more* immersive, but I think you should have to actively march them off the edge of the map - so that it takes time and isn't guaranteed. (And ofc the artificial resummon of units, esp. lords / heroes, that have been wrecked, is equally annoying.)
@@tastethefloor Yeah I like that idea. If they route then no refund, but if you manually retreat them then you get the normal unsummon refund. Also the lord being unsumonned to avoid morale loss should be mitigated because then it'd still count as lord routed

Also Malus getting absolutely last Samurai'd by the Silver Bullets was quite something.
I always wanna recruit Medusas, especially into Rakarth's army...but then...Their low range kinda screws them. And they arent sneaky like the sneaky snakes.

I admire Turin for the abillity to name favourite moments in the Lord of the Rings. I could never do that. All I know is that it isn't all about war and there are SO MANY joyful, tragic, weird and impressive moments. If I HAD TO name one moment - gun to my head - I'd probably take the leaving of Frodo, Gandalf and Co. from Middle-earth. Why? Just because it's so emotional after all that happened previously. After all these years I break down and cry when I see it - everytime. Maybe just because this story has in a way so much I can relate to. I often wish I could just make my journey from this (Middle-)earth to the undying lands asap.

How many points do you get to build your army for domination mode.
Nice casting but get some sound dampening for the room and maybe a better mic with some compression.
so When I host a domination battle and use Default funds. I get no where near the same gold as these pros are getting each match. Are these tournaments customized differently then online battles?

i always wonder why total war in general failed to be a e-sport. thats pretty sad. due to the fact that it can be a highly highly tactical game in matches against other players. even more tactical then chess. e-sport in totalw ar could be one of the best strategic heads fighting against each other in a 2 hour long battle.

The whole "capping points" is just boring to watch. Why are there no competitions with the basic army vs army?
I feel so weird about religious appropriation, Khorne gets 'Slaupnir' and nobody bats an eye, but give Nurgle 'Cross of Christ' or rename Bloated Corpse 'Chosen of Mohammad' and people would be losing their minds.

To be fair without him the multiplayer won't be in such a healthy state....The guy organizes tournaments, provides prizes from himself (occasionally), makes events (without CA) and made a website where you sign up for tournaments + leaderboard.
What TotalBiscuit did for Warframe, Turin did for Warhammer.
