My 2 Sammy’s are walking dirt collectors - one bit of rain and the dirt just sticks to them! The good thing is they clean up really fast!

We live in the middle of the woods and our dogs love to go for runs! (We have trackers to make sure they stay near the house and go get them if they go too far) but the woods get them very muddy and bur covered and especially the samoyed with the burs so grooming can be especially difficult. This video is super helpful!! Thank you!

My childhood companion was a Samoyed and she was obsessive about cleanliness. She would hide and clean until she was a princess before she showed face to anyone. We bathed her a few times a year, mostly in the winter, when she wasn't cleaning off in lakes.

I have a rescue Samoyed of 4 years old, and she has not been trained for grooming in any kind of way. Any tips and training videos would be greatly appreciated! :D she's not making huge troubles when we're giving her a bath, but is very uncomfortable and tries to escape from the tub.
Have u ever sled pulled with them or my favorite skateboard pulled with them bc i run with my sisters corgi great Pyrenees mix bc hes an actual pulling machine even tho hes cori hight and its so fun and I know samoyeds are great sled pups and it just makes me want one so bad like honestly i love them and ur videos are so great and helpful

My little boy Miko (Samoyed puppy, 4 months) likes your vids a lot! He will always try to greet Tinkerbell en Meeko when they say hello, hahaha.
He had his first bath yesterday after he found out how much fun digging in mud can be. We only washed him with water so he can get use to the shower. He was really nerveus during the shower, but he really likes the drying part with the towel and the hairdryer. Any shampoo and/or conditioner that you recommend?

KeylanBryer14 Rinse down, yes! But a full bath isn’t really necessary. I only give the pups a good, full bath once or twice a season!

My dog is afraid of the bathtub for some reason... I don't know how to calm him down. Same goes for brushing, he goes crazy lol
I really like some samoyed and I don’t really like others. I love these two, and I think I have found the major difference between good looking and bad looking samoyed (at least for my taste): it’s how puffy they are around the neck. I prefer puffy dogs but some samoyed have so long hair around the head that the head looks too small, if you know what I mean. I don’t like it when it looks like a collie. Does anyone think the same? If this can be fixed with appropriate grooming, I am definitely buying a samoyed. I even have a name already: Snow. Is it ok for a dog?
