- Bathing your dog at home can be really easy.
First of all, make sure to let them get used to from young age.
Your puppy should be bathed at least once every season, to once per month.
We bathe Xanti every week as he get messy very easily. (We wash his feet almost every day, as he likes to step into everything. 🙃 )
When bathing a dog so frequently it is necessary to choose a good, mild shampoo and conditioner as the ones below.

(This particular type is specially good for puppies and dogs with sensitive coat or allergies. It preserves color and can be used even daily if necessary.)
When drying your dog use a towel and a hairdryer (not too warm).
Most puppies, but specially Maltese puppies must be taken care of a lot, as their coat is really delicate.
Once they are adults the coat should be combed daily (Maltese).
In order to be kept silky and shiny. 😊

When I see your video I realise how much I love 2 year old Maltese.
We had our Maltese for 16 years. When he was young we did a puppy cut. Then we allowed it to grow ling and it flowed beautifully when he walked.
When he was old we went back to puppy cut so grooming wouldnt br stressful for him.
We really loved our lil one.
I've had my Maltese for 10 years. It's good to know that they can live for at least 16. I was scared to do research because it might have been close to 10! Lol

I had a maltese named Sugar that I had to put to sleep just 3 year's ago and he lived to 24 year's old. He would have lived longer but he had an accident. 😭
He was a 100% chemical free dog, home cooked food and was loved more than anything in this world. I prayed for him all the time. His vet always said he may out live me...until his accident happened.
I still miss him every single day. Now I have 2 maltese male and female and one of their puppies is 8 weeks old which I'm keeping. They are the best dog's. ❤
