5 Month Old Puppy Training Update | Fluffy the Samoyed

Fluffy turned 5 months old this week, so we thought we'd give an update on how she's doing with her training! I'm a first time dog owner, so I'm definitely learning a lot as I continue to train her, but I think she's a great puppy! I would suggest you get bowl to slow down the eating, it will prevent dome future problems. Are you trimming the cost? None of mine ever had a coat quite line Fluffy’s.

thank you for the suggestion! I will look into it :) I am not trimming her coat. I also noticed she has a less fluffy coat than most samoyeds I've seen 😮 not sure if she's a late bloomer haha her parents are floofy

yes!! might have to retrain her on all the tricks but without barking 😂 and in general we'll continue working on her barking :)

it hasn't been hard!! Dogs are way smarter than I thought 😂 it's harder to teach them to stop doing an unwanted behavior like barking than it is to teach them a trick. She catches on quite fast learning new things

I keep high value treats with me and give her treats periodically for sticking close to me!

I swear to god it only gets worst with the food. If u have 25 secs now... My samy is at the 8 sec mark now... I put her bowl down I turn to leave her food on its place and when i turn around its all gone.. 8 seconds is her record and she's 3 yo now
