    If you have done months of research, you should know there are no "typical" intake/outtake fans. All fans are either intake or outtake, it only depends in how you direct the airflow of that fan.

      Yea, what I didn't realize was having the "front" of the fan (the side with the logo. the "back" side has the ribs and the cable channel, the "less visually appealing side") facing "in" (where I could see it) would set the fans as outtake. I had hoped that I could have the "more visually appealing" side facing me whilst being an intake fan. I had to turn them around to the "back" side to make them intake. Not sure if I explained myself well, hope I did!

    Maybe in this channel u like start posting gaming videos

    • @clexdigital

      Love that idea! I'm still trying to figure out what I want to stick with. Do you mean gaming videos like benchmarks or streaming? Also any games you would like to see?

    • @mrice6006
      @mrice6006 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Anything you feel comfortable with will do but me personally what I think u should do is take 1 week and make a 15-20minute video as a series with any game u like as u have a decent pc which will run almost every game having descent fps

    • @mrice6006

      And yeah if u get successful with everything you can end up making this your main job as TH-cam has ads which will help u monitize your videos and earn money
      If there’s anything more u wanna ask just ask opinion with other people in the comments

    • @clexdigital
      @clexdigital  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would be a fun job! And thanks for the tips! I'll keep them in mind (am currently a senior in college working on senior thesis so I don't have much free time)

    Any suggestion on fan placement for performance

    • @clexdigital
      @clexdigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on your needs and configuration. With my three fans, I placed one below the gpu as intake, one above the cpu as outtake and one on the side as intake.
      I recently got an aio and now have all three on the side as intake that are mapped with gpu temps (as I game more than I produce videos). It would be better performance-wise to have them at the bottom for the gpu but I have some toys in case below the gpu and don't mind higher temps at times (I usually set a more aggressive custom curve when heavy gaming with MSI Afterburner. Otherwise, the gpu gets pretty toasty (high 60°s without curve 45° with)

    Could you tell me what the temperatures are like?

      I've been away from my computer since Thanksgiving and won't see it for another week, unfortunately. I'll let you know when I get back!

      With the Stock Cooler:
      Gaming:
      CPU: hovers around 50c
      GPU: 60c
      With 360 Rad Upgrade:
      Gaming:
      CPU: hovers around 40c
      GPU: 60c
      With more aggressive fan curve set through MSI Afterburner:
      Gaming:
      CPU: hovers around 40c
      GPU hovers around 50c

    do you update bios?

    • @clexdigital
      @clexdigital  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did. It wasn't necessary to use the computer. The x570 series has native support for Ryzen 3rd Gen. But I did because I like to have the latest

    i think ou have an underpowered graphics card

    • @clexdigital
      @clexdigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      My next upgrade will definitely be a gpu (thinking a 5700 or 5700xt)
      But my monitor is 1920x1200 60hz IPS and I mainly play CSGO and Rocket League. The rx580 can definitely handle pretty much everything I throw at it. I want to upgrade for when I get a dual monitor setup

      thederpygamer no worries! But yea, the rx580 is definitely at the tail end of usable cards. I'd probably wouldn't recommend it much except for budget builds
