      Dr David Gundry says bazil seed is so much better than chia seeds, new study shows chia seeds has side effects such as leaky gut.

    Hi Dr. Axe. I subscribed to yur channel and i wanted to let yu know that i also give my dog probiotics. She loves kimchi, sheep or goat yogurt and Garden of Life Raw probiotics for women. I take 3 pills and for the shepherd 1 pill in the morning and 1 pill in the evening. I also put apple cidar vinegar that contains the "mother" 2 tablespoon in each of my shepherds 2 bowls. Its amazing how the conventional vets will not tell yu this info but rather give yu chemicals that worsens any conditions and/or allergies. Just like humans if the gut is off balance the body and immune system also. Its just amazing how just simple foods can heal a wide variety of issues. It the body way of informing us (for those who have ears and the mindfulness to listen) that the bateriea in our gut is not balanced and to implement these foods and voila. ...the body knows exactly what to do and doesn't need laboratory chemicals to do it.

      How do you get them to drink the ACV ? I put it in their food they wont eat it. I put a capful in their water (its very diluted) & its been 5 days they havent drank any water.

    Thanks to you I'm engaging in an immune boosting weekend! I'm drinking water with apple cider vinegar at this very moment. Earlier I made a tasty kefir-based smooth with strawberries, blueberries, turmeric, cinnamon, honey, chia seeds and a splash of almond milk. Paired with some cinnamon-sprinkled walnuts? Talk about delicious & nutritious! Since I forgot it in my smoothie, I put a little honey on my spoonful of coconut oil & it went down beautifully. I'm excited to try this echinacea tea later on!

    I love your videos. They are very informative and full of good instruction.
    Where would you place the prebiotics? Could be the fifth way?
    I'm organic. I have a banana plantation farm and I make Green Banana Biomass. The real thing. I cut the banana tree and get the green banana. It has to be green. Bananas that you buy in the market, even if it's green, are no good because they have been treated with gas to ripe. It has to be green. I guess you can not make them in the States, no banana growers. 😔
    But you have other sources of prebiotics besides bananas you may get.

    I make Coconut Yogurt that's given a decent environment with a little grass fed goat's milk and bovine colostrum added to the said coconut milk.
    To ferment it I have to bring the coconut milk to a boil, then add it to the cold goat's milk with the bovine colostrum so it can be around 90 Degrees Fahrenheit.. then add a tablespoon of previous yogurt as well as Dr. Lander's 16 Strain Probiotic Capsule with Trace Elements and FOS..
    It's an interesting flavor that goes well with my stevia extract enhanced raw honey..
    I originally did it as a biochemistry experiment and it works pretty well.

    Taking probiotic supplements has helped my overall digestion processed. Thank you for sharing about the different types of food to include in our diets to help increase the "good" bacteria in our gut. Is it necessary to grind up the Chia seeds?

      I drink one of these a week. I had a bad reaction to other ones. I also had a bad reaction to Chia seeds. It made me constipated. Kombucha does not make me constipated.

    I thought that sauerkraut contains Lactobacillus Sakei, which can only assimilate glucose and ribose and not fiber.

    "Most probiotic supplements today are destroyed by your stomach acid before they ever get to your digestive tract." so if we take probiotics supplements how can we get the best out of it since it is destroyed by stomach or which probiotics is not destroyed by stomach. pls i need answer asap. thank you

      I heard that a small amount of bacteria still make it through your digestion into the bowels. Then, you need to feed these with fiber to get the colony of that strain of bacteria to multiply.

    I have made 2 litres of kimchi, and tried some on its own - very nice. I see lots of recipes to use it in pancakes, fried rice and scrambled eggs. I can’t find any uses for it in recipes that do not heat it - potentially destroying the living nature of it. Does anyone have any good ways of eating it unheated in recipes etc... Does anyone know how much, if at all kimchi can be heated without destroying its unique health properties?

    Everything I hear that's healthy or good for your body has to do with help loosing weight makes me feel like I have no choice but to be unhealthy because I'm too skinny to loose weight I wanna actually gain weight

      Exercising and having a healthy diet is not necessary to lose weight. It is essentially for getting you to your ideal weight and optimizing your health, if you are skinny, eating healthy won't get you to lose weight, you will probably just maintain that, it is nonsense to think that you have no other option than to be unhealthy. So don't worry, if you have a balanced diet, you won't have any problems with your weight.

    What are we supposed to do when we a doctor orders us to take antibiotics for an infection? My husband has a tooth infection and needs an extraction, but was just prescribed the antibiotic clindamycin before he can get the tooth extracted. You say stay away from antibiotics, but this is something serious. Now i'm worried because I know antibiotics are terrible and destroy your immune system which then leads to so many other disorders. What would you suggest to do?

      Feed him with probiotic yogurt three time daily that is home made NOT the one you get from the shop shelves that is packed with sugar and thickening agent. Home made probiotic yogurt will replace all the good bacteria that he is lost while taking antibiotics and also increases his cognitive skills, improves his mood and fights anxiety and depression.

      Filtered through reverse osmosis.

      That doesn't make any sense, reverse osmosis take away all the minerals in the water, plus, chemicals like pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine are molecularly smaller than water so they can pass through this kind of filter. Am I wrong?

    Hi Dr Axe. Thank you so much for these videos and for your website, I'm hooked. Like you I truly believe in eating wholesome healthy foods, with nothing processed. But unfortunately I suffer from Chronic fatigue, Candida and the like which I've had for decades. I'm trying to take control of my health through diet, because I know it can be reversed, but I started to make and drink Kefir recently with Organic Cows milk (I'm not good with dairy), and i was constipated! I know you recommend goats milk, but the only organic one I can get hold of here in the Uk is in powder form. Am I ok to use that please?

      Exposing Liars wow you probably had a massive bad bacteria die off.. start back slowly on probiotics. Stop GMO foods and foods with sprays on them & no highly processed foods. Dr. Bruce West has a protocol that kills all bacteria, fungus, other bad things in the gut look him up, he's great. The flora in our gut is very hard to straighten out. There are natural doctors making millions because of our foolishness.
