    What do you think about Kefir? Is that a good source of probiotic?

      Hi Dominique! It is a good source - Just check the brand you buy to make sure there aren't a lot of added sugars, and of course if you (or other reading) don't tolerate dairy well, then opt for probiotics from fermented vegetables and other sources instead.

      @@OswaldDigestiveClinic Thank you for that response and the added info on dairy. Milk upsets my stomach and I usually can’t keep it down. But I was still considering taking kefir because my stomach tolerates ice cream and cheese.

    🙋🏻‍♀️Sorry but what about the probiotics that are meant to be refrigerated and come in capsules? When should I take these type? With meal or first time in the morning or after a meal? And can I just take the powder and put it in a drink? What would be the most effective way to take these please. Thanks in advance

      Refrigerated probiotics can be taken the same as non-refrigerated probiotics. Take 10-15min before breakfast on an empty stomach. If the product is in powdered form you can sprinkle on cool food, however if capsulated, do not open and sprinkle on food.

    I really hope that after a year you can focus on which ones are the best ones like maybe the top five or something like that because I am having a hard time finding on Amazon the right one for me because I have constipation issues and it's my fault sometimes because sometimes I do skip a dose a day and you got to take these things everyday You got to but I need to get the best one I don't care how much it cost please focus on the top five for 2024 thank you
    The good thing about these 120 billion that they have with the blue label and all that is that they include prebiotics as well and also digestive health type of probiotics I guess so that's why I really am putting all my bang on this one but I'm going to leave the last word to you.

    What about Acidophilus probiotic, can i use it for bloating gas and constipation please?

      It can support gi issues, but you will find acidophilus most abundantly in the stomach versus lower intestinal tract.

    Just one more thing I'm sorry please forgive me. I take the new rhythm 36 strains 120 billion CFUs it's the new ones that came out maybe like a few months ago you know because the older ones they had were 60 billion I think if I'm not mistaken 19 strains or something like that so I according to them I'm taking probably one of the maximum doses you know but I just lately had some problems with constipation and I don't know why I might mention it to my doctor but he always suggests probiotics but it's just a matter of are these people doing gimmicks you know or are they really the real deal you know That's the thing so if you could kindly be sweet enough to really go over this I would be so grateful.       Taking a probiotic combined with a whole foods diet is best! The optimal time to take a probiotic is 15-20min before breakfast.

      Many probiotics do contain prebiotics in gummy form and have the ability to be effective. It is best to look for a clean sourced gummy to eliminate sugars or additives.

    So you are saying that when food is in the stomach, the stomach is more alkaline? This doesn't make sense. The stomach releases hydrochloric acid to break down the food so the stomach would actually be more acidic than normal. What am I missing here?

      The pH of your stomach when food is present is typically between 3-7, so yes it becomes more alkaline. When your stomach is empty, the pH is usually between 1-2.

      Everyone is different on timeline of feeling a change. If your diet, sleep and stress levels are also in line, you may see an improvement more quickly. Prebiotics can be helpful, but most helpful if you are taking them with a probiotic as well. Depending on the severity of your GERD, you may need additional supplements or diet changes.

    Dude as you said dead or alive Probiotics are very beneficial (as you said in the video later on)
    The why the hell are you telling people that they should never eat non-pill form antibiotics with an empty stomach?

      Taking any antibiotic on an empty stomach can create gastrointestinal distress, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, bloating/gas.
