Filipinos eat oxtail too most commonly in a dish called Kare Kare which looks like peanut butter soup. It has oxtail, tripe, pork meat, and various veggies in it. Don't be scared, it is absolutely delicious and is my favorite dish to eat as a child. ❤💕

As a Nigerian there is something special about ox tail, we call it Cow tail and it has been our delicacy since i was born. Try it with tomato stew or Egusi Soup

When we came from Jamaica as kids in the seventies oxtails, fish heads, and chicken feet were thrown away by butchers it’s the West Indian community that made the butchers start selling it my uncle used to get fish heads for free from the fish markets until the shop owners realized that it was in high demand in our culture then they started selling it

About 8 years ago my mom was coming from visiting her relatives abroad. I was making oxtail to surprise her. I've cooked it in the past but because of how expensive it costs, we only have it on a special occasion. Anywho, it was near perfect, just needed the gravy to reduce a little. I sat down in the couch and fell asleep. Smh. It burnt. Mannnnnnnn! Up to now I haven't cooked it again because of how much it hurt. It burnt so bad I had to throw away the pressure cooker. My mom has passed away two years ago but there was a spot that we would buy cooked oxtail and rice and peas from.

Can't tell when last I see oxtail cook in my house...it's gotten that expensive. Used to have it at least once a week during my childhood. Nowadays it's other meat alternate to oxtail like cow tail and turkey neck which are cheaper.

WOOOOOOOOW this is in Jamaica too we have it in Egypt it is an old Egyptian dish called Akawe عكاوي we eat it with Okra in tomato sauce or with potatoes in onion sauce

I have eaten oxtail many different ways. It is hard to beat if cooked long enough. Side note Doylin love your crochet top. BOSS.
Can't tell when last I see oxtail cook in my house...it's gotten that expensive. Used to have it at least once a week during my childhood. Nowadays it's other meat alternate to oxtail like cow tail and turkey neck which are cheaper.
