- Mo’s Burgers in Harlem is a neighborhood staple. Mo Robinson Jr. has been serving the greater Harlem community for over 30 years, whipping up burgers, hot dogs, sausages, and punch right outside the barbershop that he owns. Everyone in the neighborhood knows Mo, and as one customer said, he's like a "mayor of Harlem."

Update 2.8.24
I read up and Mo’s Burgers is still there in Harlem and doing well. Mo sold the barbershop and switch from a food stall to a mobile food truck. The burgers are now $2.50. The reviews are still overwhelmingly positive. Good on you brother for being a good man and a community rockstar

Never been to America, but I'd love to try Mo's Burgers in my lifetime - from the genuine joy he is radiating, to being a cornerstone and a pillar of the community, to his attitude, mannerism and outlook on life, I can honestly say that no matter what happens, one day this world will be so much poorer without him, and I hope that day never comes.

This model citizen of a man was able to support 4 children through college & a wife with his unrelenting pursuit of hard work as an entrepreneur. Mo is most certainly an asset to the Harlem community. Proud of you, sir!
What a lovely human being. Keep it up. You making peoples day 10 times better.

Haha I used to see this man everyday after school , and the days I got my report cards back if I had gotten A’s and B’s my mother would reward me with a burger and a half and half. Just like the woman said it’s like “Harlem In a cup .”. I almost tear up thinking about it , I miss those days almost 20 years ago. Hope he’s been well during the pandemic

Is there anything more heartbreaking than watching a man push down his emotion to cope, like he just did when he was talking about his Grandma's funeral?
And making that statement turns you to righteous saint? Get out!
Omg the video went to that point when I read this comment. Very sad.

This is a real American. Served his country, feeds his community, & is a father to his family. People like him should get way more recognition.
On point!
and hes not tryna do little hip hop raps either like these moron wannabe thug gangsta kids. i HATE RAPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@TPW13 I don't really listen to rap. I like a conscious message
what the fuck is a real American? a redneck that collects disability and drinks Budweiser. Mo doesn't look like that, he is a real contributor to society. The "real American" is a waste of life.
@@krys8644 absolutely! Rap has lots of consciousness in its messages. I was implying the rap we hear nowadays from most of the mainstream has pretty much 0 of it. The old school stuff reigns supreme. Until they change what's being put out, raps reputation will be seen as poor unfortunately. Every time I hear a song it bums me out. The same sounds, the same beats and the same message about flexing and women. I miss the 90s rap.
