I find the Empress to be brighter and has this metallic sound to it. Ventris was more of a "natural" voice to it.

Both are great pedals! Own both and don't plan to sell either. Ventris wins on customizing with dual engine and Nero app. Sound wise the Ventris sounds cleaner, but the Empress sounds more organic. No bad choice and either are TOTL reverb pedals.

Thanks for this demo. It's a toss-up between two quality pedals, really. I wonder if either is planning an update to their respective platforms still.

I’m a synth player hunting for good reverb, there’s nothing to separate these two. The empress provides some chorus options but I already have plenty of that. I think the echoverb on the Ventress edges out the empress.
